    Day 1

    Guatemala City - Antigua

    As guests arrive at the Aurora Airport in Guatemala City, they will be met by a tour representative and transferred to the local hotel for the evening.

    Today, we will travel to Guatemala to explore Antigua at our own pace, able to visit ruins, palaces, churches, and museums.

    Day 3

    Antigua Guatemala - Lanquin

    After breakfast our local representative will meet us at the Hotel at 8:00am and then transfer to Lanquin (7hrs). Upon arrival we will be dropped off at the local bus station, where one of our representatives will meet us and transfer to your hotel.

    Day 4

    Lanquin - Semuc Champey - Lanquin

    Today at 9:00am we will take a truck from Lanquin to Semuc Champey Park where we will enjoy the Natural crystal pools. After that we will return to the hotel.

    Lanquin - Flores

    Today we will transfer to the Island town, Flores (8hrs). We will be picked up early in the morning from our hotel in Lanquin. Once arrival at Flores, we will be transfer to the hotel by one of our representatives.

    Flores - Tikal - Flores

    Early in the morning, we will transfer to Tikal National Park, where we will spend 4 hours exploring Mayan ruins before returning to Flores for the night.

    Flores - Melchor de Mencos - San Ignacio

    Today we will be picked up early in the morning by one of our representatives at the hotel front desk. From there we will take a bus to San Ignacio, changing vehicles at Melchor de Mencos (Guatemalan Border 2hrs). *Please make sure you have your documents on hand for customs. Located 67 miles from Belize City is San Ignacio Town, connected by the Hawksworth Bridge to its twin town Santa Elena. San Ignacio is the largest town in the Cayo District and is a base for tourism activities throughout Cayo. First on the list would have to be ATM (Actun Tunichil Muknal) consider the top sacred cave around the world, then Caracol Ruins and Pine Ridge Area, we've also got a nice mix of tubing, horseback riding and Maya ruins to stomp around near town.

    Day 8

    San Ignacio - Belize City - Caye Caulker

    Today we can depart at any time of the day. Then transfer to Caye Caulker. Firstly a 3hr drive to Belize City. Once we arrive there we will then take a Water Taxi towards Caye Caulker or Caye Hicaco. (We recommend to leave not later than 1:00pm so you will have enough time). On Caye Caulker, there are no cars, no fumes and no hassles, just balmy breezes, fresh seafood, azure waters and a fantastic barrier reef at its doorstep.

      The world's second largest barrier reef and Mayan ruins in Belize are a magnet for tourists. There are also eight wildlife reserves in Belize, of which the jaguar and red-footed booby reserve are the only in the world.

    Caye Caulker

    We will spend the entire day in Caye Caulker at our own leisure. We can take part in many entertaining activities, such as swimming, snorkeling, and diving.

    Caye Caulker - Chetumal - Tulum

    Early in this morning about 6:30am, we will head back to Belize City by water taxi (1hr), and travel by bus to the border with Mexico (approx. 4hrs). After crossing the border, we head to the Mexican town of Chetumal where we swap buses and head to Tulum (4hrs). We will make a few stops on the ways, great opportunities to stretch your legs and find some local snacks. Tulum which can be separated into 3 areas: Ruins, Town and Beach Strip offers the perfect combination of total relaxation, tranquility and seclusion. We can fill the day with many interesting and rich activities in the area.

    Tulum - Coba Ruins - Tulum

    This morning we will meet our local representative and take an easy half-hour drive inland from the coastal city of Tulum to the Ruins of Coba. Visitors who brave the steep climb up the highest pyramid in Mexico's Maya world reap the reward of a breathtaking vista. After your visit of Coba, we will plan to stop at the Gran Cenote on the way back toward Tulum for a refreshing dip in the cool, clear water.

    Tulum - Playa Del Carmen

    Today, we will drive to Playa del Carmen in the morning. Then, we will have the remainder of the day to spend at our own leisure.

    Playa Del Carmen

    Playa del Carmen is the region's top destination for shopping, dining and nightlife. Head into town and take a stroll along the pedestrian Fifth Avenue strip, locally known as Quinta Avenida. By day it's packed with people browsing the shops and boutiques; by night roving musicians entertain diners in the many restaurants and bars.

    Day 15

    Chichen Itza - Merida

    Today we will take a local bus heading towards the ruins of Chichen Itza (approx. 4.5 hours). This bus cruises through little villages allowing to see the Mexican Maya. We have around 2-3 hours to spend at the ruins before we travel onwards Chichen Itza. After the visit we will continue to Merida (approx. 2 hours) where we will spend the night.

    The local partner will meet us at the reception and take you to explore the national archeological site of Uxmal and Kabah. We could enjoy travelling Green routes of Mayan World.

    Merida - Palenque (536 km)

    Palenque was an important Maya city which flourished. The tour of the ruins takes around 2hrs plus some time to enjoy on your own. After that we will head to the Waterfalls of Misol Ha, located 20kms from Palenque. We then drive to Agua Azul which is a waterfall complex that consists of many cataracts following one after another.

    Palenque - San Cristobal De Las Casas (110 km)

    After breakfast we will take another bus to the city of San Cristobal de las Casas (6hrs), driving through the mountainous terrain. Along the route we will see the Caracoles. Upon arrival in San Cristobal, we will check into your hotel and have the rest of the afternoon free to enjoy a warm cup of coffee or dance some Marimba at the Main Plaza.

      San Cristóbal de las Casas is a town and municipality located in the Central Highlands region of the Mexican state of Chiapas. Most of the city’s economy is based on tourism. Major landmarks of the city include the Cathedral, the Santo Domingo church with its large open air crafts market and the Casa Na Bolom museum.

    San Cristobal De Las Casas

    San Cristobal De Las Casas is situated in a fertile valley surrounded by mountains in the southern state of Chiapas. There is time here to explore the villages. If you take a day trip to San Juan Chamula, make sure to visit the church. Take the opportunity to go for an optional day trip to Sumidero Canyon.

    San Cristobal De Las Casas - Panajachel

    From San Cristobal, we will head down to Guatemala by van. It takes about 4 hours to get to the Guatemalan border and another 6 hours to get to our final destination, Panajachel. *Please make sure you take along your passport ready and the driver will give you detailed instructions on what to do once at the border. The vans make one stop before arriving to the border at the City of Comitan for breakfast. Pack snacks in advance mainly for the portion after the border as there is only one short stop before arriving into Lake Atitlan.

    Lake Atitlan

    Today, we will visit some local Mayan communities by boat, such as San Pedro, Santiago and San Antonio. Later, we will return to our hotel.

    Lake Atitlan - Chichicastenango Market - Antigua

    Our driver will meet us at your hotel reception to take you on a short drive to Chichicastenango for a shopping spree through the colorful market where locals buy and sell fruits, vegetables, flowers and etc (market available only on Thursdays and Sundays, otherwise you will go straight to Antigua). You will witness ancient rituals at Santo Tomas Church, we would also recommend visiting the peaceful yet colorful cemetery. After lunch we will leave for Antigua, where we will enjoy the rest of the day.
