Day 1: Hanoi

Today we will welcome you to Ha Noi, Vietnam! You will arrive at the Noi Bai International Airport (HAN), where our friendly staff will be waiting for you. We offer free pick-up services at the Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) at 12:00, 15:00, 18:00 and 23:00 (this will be the time that the tour guide leaves the airport after meeting with the guests).

Day 2: Hanoi-Ha Long Bay (182 km)

After breakfast, we will go to Ba Dinh Square, a famous political area in Vietnam, to visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House, Presidential Palace Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh Museum. We will also have a look at the One Pillar Pagoda shaped like a blooming lotus. Then, we will go to the West Lake Hanoi to enjoy a picturesque scenery view. You will also see the ancient Tran Quoc Pagoda and the Temple of Literature Hanoi dedicated to Confucius. During the tour, we will pass by another famous lake known as Hoan Kiem Lake. Following, we will take a visit to the gothic style St. Joseph's Cathedral. In the north of Hoan Kiem Lake is the oldest commercial district in Hanoi, 36 Streets of Hanoi Old Quarter. You will take a tricycle to visit the bustling lively streets and catch a glimpse of the prosperity of the Thang Long capital in past days. Finally, we will drive to the beautiful Halong Bay.

    Ba Dinh Square, the largest square in Vietnam, holds significant historical values. Situated on Hung Vuong Street, this square is the center of a large complex of historical and cultural sites (often known as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex) in Ba Dinh District. Ba Dinh Square is a 320-meter-long and 100-meter-wide area that can hold up to 200,000 people. It consists of 210 grass squares, interspersed with wide pathways. In the middle of the square is a 25-meter-tall flag pole, where the national flag raising ceremony is held every morning. The 4 sides of the square all face important Hanoi landmarks.

    Presidential Palace is a three-storey building which surrounded by an orchard, carp pond and a 91-metre long boulevard of lush gardens. Designed by the French architect Auguste Henri Vildieu, it is of an architectural style called Beaux-Arts.

    House On Stilts

    This humble, elevated home was where Ho Chi Minh lived from 1958 until his death in 1969. Since then, the house has been preserved exactly as Ho left it.

    West Lake Hanoi

    West Lake is the biggest freshwater lake of northwest center of Hanoi, Vietnam. With a shore length of 17 km, this is the largest lake of the capital and a popular place for recreation with many surrounding gardens, hotels, and villas. The area surrounding West Lake is famous for the density of its historical relics, most of them pagodas exhibiting different Buddhist architectural styles. Day 3: Ha Long Bay-Hanoi (182 km)

After breakfast, we will drive to the pier to take a boat and head over to visit the world natural heritage called Halong Bay. There are more than 1,000 stone forests and islands scattered in the scenic area. The cruise ship will take you to travel among the mountains on the sea, and you can have a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery displayed! Following, the ship will take you to the Sung Sot Cave, or Suprise Cave. In this big cave, you will see breathtaking stalactite wonders. Following, follow us to have a visit to Ti Top Island. It will be a wonderful experience to have a panoramic view of Halong Bay from the viewing platform! We have prepared a seafood feast for your lunch. All kinds of freshly caught shrimps and crabs will definitely be worth the visit! On the return trip in the afternoon, you may enjoy the beauty of Halong Bay quietly on the deck.     Covering a total area of 3.7 hectares, Ti Top Island is one of the smallest islands making up Halong Bay - a natural wonder in Quang Ninh Province. The island’s current name was named after the Russian cosmonaut Gherman Titov on his visit to Halong Bay in 1962 by Uncle Ho. The mesmerizing view and its prime location contribute to the highlights of Ti Top Beach, which allures a large number of tourists each year.     Water Puppet Show

    Water puppetry is a special folk art created by the people living in the Red River Delta in Northern Vietnam. This art form dates back to the 11th century. Puppets are made of wood but said to be waterproof and durable. During the show, the puppets are controlled via a bamboo rod and strings hidden under the water surface by puppeteers standing behind the stage. The performance of the puppets on stage usually comes along with “Cheo” singing – a traditional folk music of the Northern people. The puppet shows are usually about the daily life of rural people.

Day 4: Hanoi-Danang-Hoi An (1187 km)

After breakfast, you will take a flight to Da Nang. After arriving in Da Nang, you will take a Vietnamese special basket boat to visit Cam Kim Island. Here, you will have the chance to roam the water coconut mangroves and experience the fun of fishing crabs by yourself! Then, we will go to Hoi An Ancient Town. Take a visit to Tan Ky Old House and Japanese Bridge full of national fusion characteristics, as well as Fujian Assembly Hall and Cantonese Assembly Hall, where overseas Chinese used to gather. You can also DIY a Hoi An traditional lantern under the guidance of a professional lantern master! In the afternoon, we will taste the authentic Vietnamese coffee and relax. Day 5: Hoi An - Ba Na Hills - Tra Peninsula (580 km)

Today we go to the famous resort of Ba Na Hills. Here, we will take the longest and highest non-stop cable car in the world to the top of the mountain to enjoy the wonderful scenery of Da Nang. After climbing to the top, we will take a small train first. Following, we will head to the large indoor entertainment park known as Fantasy Park, and travel in Jules Verne's "Journey to the Center of the Earth" and "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea”. Leaving Ba Na Hills, we will go to the Son Tra Peninsula. The "Vietnam Gold Coast" My Khe Beach stretches continuously along the coast of the peninsula. Linh Ung Pagoda in the south of the peninsula stands the tallest statue of Buddha in Southeast Asia. Finally, we will visit the Museum of Cham Sculpture, which houses a large collection of artifacts from the ancient Cham Kingdom, including statue carvings and historical relics. It is a must-see for historical relic lovers.

    Danang Golden Bridge

    Danang Golden Bridge perches on a prime location inside the Ba Na Hills. At the height of 1400m above sea level, the bridge is a masterpiece with golden-hue gilded railing frames and a winding shape (stretching 150m in length). Its unique design is lifted by two giant hands and the golden yellow hue of this pedestrian bridge make it both photo perfect and a great place for sightseeing.

    Fantasy Park

    Fantasy Park is located on a mountain peak in Ba Na Hills Mountain Resort, known as “the way to fairyland” or “paradise on earth”. As a perfect tourist attraction for an entire family, Fantasy Park was commenced and inspired by two iconic novels “Journey to the Center of the Earth” and “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea” by French writer Jules Verne.     Son Tra Peninsula

    Son Tra is a beautiful peninsula in Da Nang with long, white sandy beaches, picturesque landscapes and primeval forests - a must-see for any traveler to Da Nang.     Linh Ung Pagoda Da Nang

    Linh Ung Pagoda is a stunning pagoda built on a 20-hectare plot of land on Son Tra Mountain. Here, the Lady Buddha statue, the tallest statue in Vietnam, is the most important and visible feature of Linh Ung Pagoda. Being 67 meters tall and supported by a 35-meter-high lotus-shaped foundation, it is hailed as the tallest statue of Buddha in Southeast Asia. The inside of the statue is 17m wide, including 17 floors, and each storey has a total altar of 21 Buddha statues.

    Established by French colonists during the time of their occupation of the Vietnam, this museum is dedicated to the history of the Cham people, the ethnic group that dominated the area for thousands of years.

Day 6: Da Nang - Ho Chi Minh (605 km)

This morning we will take a city tour in Da Nang. We will take a quick visit to the Da Nang Cathedral with pink walls and the Da Nang Dragon Bridge, where you will see the statues of APEC member countries in the APEC Park. After that, let's take a walk on My Khe Beach and feel the romantic atmosphere of this seaside city! After lunch, we will fly to Ho Chi Minh, the largest city in Vietnam.

Day 7: Da Nang - Ho Chi Minh (2142 km)

After breakfast, we will head to My Tho. The most exciting part of traveling to Mei Tho is the water sightseeing on the Mekong River. Take a wooden boat equipped with a small motor and set off for the island! The motorboat will take you to an island. After that, we will go to the fruitful orchard and enjoy a fruit feast. In the afternoon, we will return to Ho Chi Minh and take a city tour. The buildings here are mainly French-style. We will visit People's Committee Building, Independence Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon and Saigon Central Post Office to learn about the past day of Ho Chi Minh City. When night falls, follow us and take a cruise along the Saigon River. You will be able to have dinner while listening to music and appreciate the nighttime view on the river.

Day 8: Ho Chi Minh City

Today will be the end of our unforgettable and pleasant journey! You can book a suitable flight to leave Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) according to your needs. Our staff only provides one drop-off service from the hotel at 7:30 in the morning. If a guest has an earlier flight and needs to leave the hotel before 7:30 to the airport, please transfer to the hotel by yourself.

  • Airport Pickup: Free airport pick up in Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) are 12:00, 15:00, 18:00 and 23:00 .
    Please make sure to meet with our staff at the listed time slots with your claimed baggage. Please make sure to be at the meeting point on time.
    No meals will be provided on the day of your arrival.
  • Return:Please book a suitable flight to leave from Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) according to your needs. we only provides one drop-off service from the hotel at 7:30 in the morning.

  • Professional Chinese tour guide and service fee.
  • Car service for the items included in the itinerary.
  • Three meals a day during the itinerary (only dinner is included on the pick-up day, and only breakfast is included on the drop-off day).

  • Air tickets for two inland flights: Hanoi to Da Nang, Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh.
  • 1-2 bottles of mineral water per person per day.

Price Excludes

  • Air tickets or related transportation costs to and from the place of departure and destination.
  • All personal expenses (baggage check fee, laundry fee, etc.) that are not included in the fee.

  • Tour route may be changed and reversed; you may contact the vendor 1-2 days prior departure to confirm final itinerary
  • Customers are held solely responsible for their own travel documents and/or visas if required.
  • Luggage: Each customer may bring on board one checked luggage plus one carry-on bag.
  • Bus Arrangement: Usually only passengers in the same order will be arranged in the same bus. If you book the tour separately with your friends and you want to sit in the same bus, you need to inform us before departure . Or you may be arranged in different buses.
  • Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.
  • This tour does not accept any City Pass or your own tickets for the attraction. Passengers who take this tour need to purchase admission tickets from tour escort upon arrival.

Confirmation

  • All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

Redemption

  • Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Terms & Condition

  • Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
  • Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. The time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through webmail at Contact Us .
  • Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
    15 days or more prior to departure - Free cancellation with full refund. Please reconfirm the penalty for the added hotel or flight ticket.
    8-14 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    Within 7 days prior to departure or no show - 100% of the total purchase amount.
    Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain the normal operation.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
