After pickup from hotels in Ho Chi Minh City. As we drive to My Tho, we will pass picturesque rice fields until we reach the Vinh Trang Pagoda. We will take a leisurely boat ride along the river, observing the local stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages. We will visit Tortoise Island to enjoy lunch in the orchard garden. Then, we will take a boat ride to An Khanh, where we can enjoy some local treats and hear Southern Vietnamese folk music. Later, we will continue to Can Tho, where we will spend the night.

Today, we will take a leisurely boat trip on the Bassac River in the Lower Mekong Delta to reach the Cai Rang Floating Market, the liveliest in the region, where we can learn how Vietnamese vermicelli soup is made. Wandering around the village, we will meet friendly locals and learn how to pass a monkey bridge. Before lunch, we will visit the local orchard garden and then continue to Chau Doc to visit Tra Su. We will take a smooth cruise on small boats to go bird watching. Later, we will check into a hotel in Chau Doc.

This city, the largest on the Mekong Delta, is best known for its rice paper manufacturing and its floating market. At the market, visitors can buy a wide range of tropical fruits like mango, durian, jackfruit and more.
