    Day 1

    Nazareth, Sea of Galilee & Tiberias (181 km)

    Guests will be picked up early in the morning to begin this tour. Today, our journey will begin along Israel?s scenic coastal road, overlooking the stunning Mediterranean Sea, then over the Plain of Armageddon to Nazareth. Our first stop in this holy city is the Church of the Annunciation, originally a Byzantine church, reconstructed in 1969. The lower levels of this church contain the Grotto of the Annunciation, supposedly the remains of the Virgin Mary's childhood home.

    Then, we will visit the Church of St. Joseph, believed to be the sight of Joseph's carpentry workshop. Beneath the church lies a cave used by early Roman dwellers for storage of food and water. From here, we will proceed to Kfer Kanna for a view of the Mount of the Beatitudes, where, according to tradition, Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. Then we will visit the Church of the Loaves and Fish, which preserves an early Christian mosaic from the 4th century. Our next stop will be the ruins of Capernaum. On our way back to Jerusalem, we will stop at the Yardenit for an optional baptismal service.

      Nazareth is a city in the Northern District of Israel. At the end of 2007 it had a population of 40,800. Nazareth Illit was founded in 1957. It was planned as a Jewish town overlooking the Arab city of Nazareth and the Jezreel Valley.

      Basilica of the Annunciation

      According to the Roman Catholic church, this church is located on the site where the Annunciation occurred. The church is fairyl young, having been built in 1969.

      St. Joseph's Church

      This Franciscan Catholic church can be found in the Old City of Nazareth, the town of Jesus' youth. Built in 1914, it is named after Jesus' father, the carpenter Joseph.

      Tiberias is an Israeli city on the western shore of the Sea of Galilee (called "the Kinneret" in Hebrew), Lower Galilee, Israel. Established in 20 CE, it was named in honour of the emperor Tiberius.

      Church of the Beautitudes

      This Roman Catholic church is located near the Sea of Galilee and the ancient town of Capernaum. It is built on the site believed to be the location of Jesus' Sermon on the Mount.

      Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish

      This Roman Catholic church in Tabgha, overseen by the Benedictine Order, is named for the part of the New Testament when Christ multiplies the amount of bread and fish present for the feeding of the five thousand.


      This ancient fishing village on the Sea of Galilee is an important setting in the New Testament of the Bible, in which it is said to be the hometown of the apostles Peter, Andrew, James, John, and Matthew.


      Located along the Jordan River in Northern Israel is this baptism site, an important pilgrimage destination for Christians because, according to tradition, it was the site of Jesus's baptism at the hands of John the Baptist.

    Day 2

    Caesaria, Haifa & Rosh Hanikra (226 km)

    Israel?s northern coast is home to ancient Roman ruins, stunning grottos, and beautiful beaches. We will begin the day in Caesarea, site of the ancient Roman regional capital and port, where we will embark on a walking tour of the archaeological site, seeing the old port, hippodrome, and amphitheater. We will then continue north to Haifa for a beautiful panoramic view of the impressive Bahai Gardens, the city, and the port. We will then proceed to Rosh HaNikra, where we will take the cable car to visit the limestone grottoes on the waterfront, at the border with Lebanon to the north.
    • Caesarea, ISRAEL

      This town on the Israeli coast was notable in ancient times as being the Roman regional capital and port. Now, it contains one of the best archaeological sites in the area, where you can learn a great deal of history.
    • Haifa, ISRAEL

      Haifa is the largest city in northern Israel, and the third largest city in the country. The city is a major seaport located on Israel's Mediterranean coastline in the Bay of Haifa covering 63.7 square kilometers.

      Baha'i Gardens

      Also known as the Hanging Gardens of Haifa, these terraced gardens provide fantastic views of this coastal Israeli city. The terraces lead up to the Shrine of Bab that sits on Mount Carmel.

    Day 3

    Rosh HaNikra - Golan Heights (27 km)

    We will begin our day by visiting the archaeological site ofTel Megiddo, once an important city-state in ancient times. From here, we will continue to Beit She'an to tour another set of ancient ruins that includes a well-preserved amphitheater, hippodrome, and more. On our drive through the Jordan Valley, we will stop at the Yardenit.

    Afterward, we will ascend into the Golan Heights, stopping at Hamat Gader for an overview of the border between Israel, Syria, and Jordan on our way to the Shalom Observatory. We will then proceed to the city of Katzrin, the Talmudic capital of Golan, where we will visit the remains of the Ancient Village, which include a 6th century synagogue. We will then ascend Mount Bental for a remarkable view of the Kuneitra Valley. We will then descend into the Hula Valley for the evening.

      Golan Heights, or simply the Golan or the Syrian Golan, is a region in the Levant.

      Mount Bental

      This dormant volcano is located in the Golan Heights region tat separates Israel and Syria. The top of the mountain offers exquisite views of the surrounding Heights, the other mountains in the area, and into Syria.

    Day 4

    Golan Heights

    We will begin the day by touring a Kibbutz Settlement, before driving to beautiful Banias. Then we will continue to the Kalat Nimrod, one of the area's best-preserved Crusader fortresses, offering a magnificent view of the surrounding lands. From here, we will proceed to Birkat Ram, a natural lake, situated on a now-extinct volcano. We will then visit the city of Safed, visiting its ancient synagogues and artists?s quarter with its enchanted, narrow alleyways and flowered porches.
