    Day 1

    Jerusalem/Herzliya/Netanya/Tel Aviv - Caesarea - Haifa - Rosh Hanikra - Acre - Tel Aviv (448 km)

    Today our first stop is Caesarea where we will see the remains of the ancient city and Roman amphitheater. Then we will pass through Haifa and see the Baha'i Shrine and gardens. Our next stop will be at Rosh HaNikra. We will descend by cable car into the network of limestone grottoes. We will also stop at Acre (Akko), see the historical walls, moat and Crusader remains. We will stay overnight in Tel Aviv.
    • Caesarea, ISRAEL

      This town on the Israeli coast was notable in ancient times as being the Roman regional capital and port. Now, it contains one of the best archaeological sites in the area, where you can learn a great deal of history.
    • Haifa, ISRAEL

      Haifa is the largest city in northern Israel, and the third largest city in the country. The city is a major seaport located on Israel's Mediterranean coastline in the Bay of Haifa covering 63.7 square kilometers.

      Baha'i Gardens

      Also known as the Hanging Gardens of Haifa, these terraced gardens provide fantastic views of this coastal Israeli city. The terraces lead up to the Shrine of Bab that sits on Mount Carmel.
    • Rosh HaNikra, ISRAEL

      This Israeli kibbutz is located near the northern border with Lebanon. It is a coastal village, most famous for the grottoes, accessible by cable car.

      Rosh HaNikra Grottoes

      These grottoes are the main attraction in Rosh HaNikra, tuckerd away just below the border with Lebanon to the north and only accessible by cable car. The grottoes were carved out by the seas over thousands of years.
    • Acre, ISRAEL

      It played a very important role during the Middle Ages, when it was the base of operations for the European crusading forces stationed in the area. Nowadays, visitors can see the very well preserved remains of the medieval city.

    Day 2

    Tel Aviv - Nazareth - Tiberias - Sea of Galilee - Tel Aviv (235 km)

    We will travel pass Herzliya and Natanya, continue to the Mediterranean, drive through the Valley of Armageddon and see Megiddo. On our way towards Nazareth we will see the Mt of Precipitation. In Nazareth we will visit the Church of Annunciation and Church of Saint Joseph. Next we will pass Cana, travel to the Sea of Galilee and see the Jordan Rive. We will visit Capernaum, the home of Peter and the Church of the Multiplication. We will pass the city of Tiberias and reach the southern region of the Sea of Galilee where it is possible to participate in a baptismal ceremony and see Mount Tabor where the Transfiguration took place. Stay overnight in Tel Aviv.
    • Nazareth, ISRAEL

      Nazareth is a city in the Northern District of Israel. At the end of 2007 it had a population of 40,800. Nazareth Illit was founded in 1957. It was planned as a Jewish town overlooking the Arab city of Nazareth and the Jezreel Valley.

      Basilica of the Annunciation

      According to the Roman Catholic church, this church is located on the site where the Annunciation occurred. The church is fairyl young, having been built in 1969.

      St. Joseph's Church

      This Franciscan Catholic church can be found in the Old City of Nazareth, the town of Jesus' youth. Built in 1914, it is named after Jesus' father, the carpenter Joseph.
    • Tiberias, ISRAEL

      Tiberias is an Israeli city on the western shore of the Sea of Galilee (called "the Kinneret" in Hebrew), Lower Galilee, Israel. Established in 20 CE, it was named in honour of the emperor Tiberius.

      Capernaum

      This ancient fishing village on the Sea of Galilee is an important setting in the New Testament of the Bible, in which it is said to be the hometown of the apostles Peter, Andrew, James, John, and Matthew.

      Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish

      This Roman Catholic church in Tabgha, overseen by the Benedictine Order, is named for the part of the New Testament when Christ multiplies the amount of bread and fish present for the feeding of the five thousand.

      Sea of Galilee

      This freshwater lake in northern Israel is the second-lowest lake on Earth, after the Dead Sea. It is an important site in the New Testament of the Bible, considering that Jesus lived in the area.

    Day 3

    Tel Aviv - Galilee - Tel Aviv (225 km)

    Today our first stop will be Magdala where we can see remains of an ancient Biblical era and ruins of a Second Temple period. Then we will continues through the beautiful countryside of the Galilee to Ginosar. The tour will continue along the shore of the Sea of Galilee where you can look up at the Mount of Beatitudes. We will also head to Kfar Cana, the site of Biblical Cana and the Wedding Church of Cana. Stay overnight in Tel Aviv.
    • Galilee, ISRAEL

      Magdala

      An ancient city on the shore of the Sea of Galilee.In the Babylonian Talmud it is known as Magdala Nunayya (meaning "Tower of the Fishes") and believed to be the birthplace of Mary Magdalene.

      Mount of Beatitudes

      A hill in northern Israel, in the Korazim Plateau. It is where Jesus is believed to have delivered the Sermon on the Mount.

      Kafr Kanna

      An Arab town, in Galilee, part of the Northern District of Israel. It is associated with the New Testament village of Cana, where Jesus turned water into wine.

      Wedding Church of Cana

      The name given to a religious building of the Catholic Church located in the central part of the town of Kafr Kanna (Cana),in the Lower Galilee which is dedicated to weddings.

    Day 4

    Tel Aviv - Northern Galilee - Golan (140 km)

    We will drive through the Golan Heights passed Hamat Gader, to the Shalom Observation Point and visit the remains of a Talmudic-era village at the Katzerin Museum. We will also visit the former Syrian stronghold on Mount Bental. Stay overnight on a Kibbutz in Golan.
    • Golan Heights, ISRAEL

      Golan Heights, or simply the Golan or the Syrian Golan, is a region in the Levant.

      Mount Bental

      This dormant volcano is located in the Golan Heights region tat separates Israel and Syria. The top of the mountain offers exquisite views of the surrounding Heights, the other mountains in the area, and into Syria.

      Katzrin Ancient village and Synagogue

      An open-air museum located in the Golan Heights on the outskirts of the Israeli settlement Katzrin. It features the reconstructed remains of a Talmudic-era village.

    Day 5

    Golan - Safed (5197 km)

    We will visit the Banias (Caesarea Philippi) at the base of Mount Hermon where there is one of the largest springs which runs into the Jordan River. Then we will head to Kal'at Nimrod and Birkat Ram. We will end off with a visit to Safed.

      Banias

      The Arabic and modern Hebrew name of an ancient site that developed around a spring once associated with the Greek god Pan. It is located at the foot of Mount Hermon, north of the Golan Heights.

      Nimrod Fortress

      A medieval Ayyubid castle situated on the southern slopes of Mount Hermon, on a ridge rising about 800 m above sea level. It overlooks the Golan Heights and was built with the purpose of guarding a major access route to Damascus against armies coming from the west.

      Lake Ram

      A crater lake (maar) also called Birket Ram, in the northeastern Golan Heights, near Mount Hermon, known by the epithet "Lake of Phiala."

      A city in the Northern District of Israel has been identified with Sepph, a fortified town in the Upper Galilee mentioned in the writings of the Roman-Jewish historian Josephus.
