    Los Angeles - Las Vegas - St. George (338 miles)

    Passengers can choose to be picked up in Los Angeles in the early morning or meet the tour in Las Vegas in the afternoon. From LA, we will journey through the San Bernardino Valley Area and the immense Mojave Desert. We will make a stop at Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas, where guests will have two full hours to shop. After the shopping we will head to Las Vegas airport and the hotel for pick up. We will spend the night in St. George, UT.

    St. George - Antelope Canyon - Horseshoe Bend - Monument Valley Tribal Park - Monticello (228 miles)

    Today we will head to the Page, AZ area to visit two of Arizona's most picturesque locations: Antelope Canyon, an amazing formation of soft red sandstone that stuns viewers with its beauty and Horseshoe Bend. Guests will have the chance to hike the lower antelope canyon, which is three time the distance of Upper Antelope Canyon. The last stop of the tour is Monument Valley Tribal Park. We will spend the night in Monticello, UT.
    • Page, AZ

      Page is a city in Coconino County, Arizona, United States, near the Glen Canyon Dam and Lake Powell. Page was founded in 1957 as a housing community for workers and their families during the construction of nearby Glen Canyon Dam on the Colorado River.

      Horseshoe Bend

      Horseshoe Bend is a curve in the Colorado River, about 5 miles from Lake Powell. The view from the overlook above offers a wide angle of this colorful canyon and tight curve.

    Monticello - Arches National Park - Canyonlands National Park - Salt Lake City (436 miles)

    We will go to the world's largest concentration of sandstone arches - Arches National Park. The Delicate Arch is looked like a landmark of Utah, even the entire West Coast National Park. Our tour guide will lead visitors to walk close to Delicate Arch. After that, we will drive to Canyonlands National Park. In the evening, we will spend the night at Salt Lake City.

      Arches National Park is home to the breathtaking scenery of natural stone arches, like the Delicate Arch and Fiery Furnace. It is close to Moab and Canyonlands National Park.
    • Moab, UT

      Moab is a city in Grand County, in eastern Utah, in the western United States. The population was 5,046 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat and largest city in Grand County. Moab attracts a large number of tourists every year, mostly visitors to the nearby Arches and Canyonlands National Parks.

      Canyonlands National Park

      The Colorado and Green Rivers have eroded the Utah landscape into a red-tinted world of impressive canyons, mesas, and buttes. Canyonlands National Park is separated into four distinct districts, the most popular of which is Island in the Sky.

    Salt Lake City - Jackson - Grand Teton - Yellowstone - West Yellowstone (375 miles)

    In the morning, we will head to the small town of Jackson, WY, a famous frontier town during the Western development. Afterwards we will head into Grand Teton National Park to take in the view of Jackson Lake and Teton Peak. From there, we will take you into the first national park in the world, Yellowstone National Park. We will see 15 of Yellowstone's major scenery sites over the spans of 3 days, including Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic Spring and Fountain Paint Pot. We will spend the night in West Yellowstone town.
    • Jackson Hole, WY

      Famous frontier town, located at the crossing of Grand Teton and Rocky Mountains, it became a heaven for outdoors sports enthusiast. The widely praised Elk Antler Arches Park, with its four arches made with thousands of elk antlers is a must see.

      Grand Teton National Park is is located in the Rocky Mountains, Northwest Wyoming. Grand Teton National Park is noted for its stunning mountain vistas, its shimmering alpine lakes and its abundant wildlife.

    • Yellowstone, WY

      Yellowstone is the home to world's largest super volcano and over 10,000 natural landscapes. Yellowstone is well known for its geysers, hot springs, fumaroles and mud pots.

      Mud Volcano Area

      The Mud Volcano blew itself apart in the early 20th century, but visitors can still see the impressive crater and other geothermal features in the surrounding area, such as the Mud Cauldron, Black Dragon's Caldron, and Dragon's Mouth Spring.

      Duration: 25-30 Minutes

      Fishing Bridge

      Located near the mouth of the Yellowstone River, the Fishing Bridge is a great location to spot the native Cutthroat trout. There is an RV park of the same name nearby.

      West Thumb Geyser Basin

      The West Thumb Geyser Basin is the largest geyser basin at Yellowstone Lake, and an impressive area of geothermal activity that contains hot springs, mud pots, and geysers-- some of which are even in the lake itself.

    Yellowstone National Park

    Today we will continue our tour inside Yellowstone National Park, visiting Yellowstone Canyon, Yellowstone Fall, Grand Prismatic Spring and more.
    • Yellowstone, WY

      Yellowstone is the home to world's largest super volcano and over 10,000 natural landscapes. Yellowstone is well known for its geysers, hot springs, fumaroles and mud pots.

      Artist Point

      Named after the famous sketches of the waterfalls by Thomas Moran (but not actually the location where the sketched were done) this beautiful location showcases one of the most famous views in Yellowstone National Park.

      Duration: 25-30 Minutes

      Grand Prismatic Hot Spring

      The third largest hot spring in the world, the Grand Prismatic Hot Spring gets its color from bacteria around its rim that feed off of the mineral-rich water. In the summer months, the hot spring is a vivid red-orange shade.

      Duration: Approx. 40 Minutes

      Fountain Paint Pot

      Fountain Paint Pot, heated by the region's underground hot springs, F.P.P is half hot spring, half mud basin. The spring releases natural shades of red and yellow because of the oxidation of iron in the soil.

      Duration: 25-30 Minutes

      Old Faithful Geyser

      Yellowstone National Park's famous geyser Old Faithful has been called the most predictable geographical feature in the world. Its reliability has been documented since 1870, when Minnesotan explorer Nathaniel P. Langford gave it its now-world-famous moniker.

      Duration: Approx. 45 Minutes

      Morning Glory Pool

      This hot spring in the Upper geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming is famous for it's bright red-orange and blue-green coloring. These colors come from the bacteria which inhabit the geyser's interior.

    Yellowstone National Park - Salt Lake City (261 miles)

    In the morning, we will continue our tour inside Yellowstone National Park, visiting Norris Basin. After we all finished those amazing attractions, will exit the park to Salt City. In the afternoon, we will see the State Capitol building, Temple Square of Mormon Church and the Great Salt Lake when we get to Salt Lake City.

      Norris Geyser Basin

      Yellowstone National Park is full of areas like this - geyser basins - large, open areas where geothermic pressure from below the ground's surface force up various geysers and springs. The Norris Basin is one of the more accessible.

      Utah's gorgeous capital city sits amidst the mountains of the American Southwest on the shores of the breathtaking Great Salt Lake. The city is steeped in history and architecture in addition to wondrous vistas and scenery.

      Utah State Capitol

      A member of the National Register of Historic Places, the Utah State Capitol has been standing since 1916. Adorned with columns and a dramatic dome, the neoclassical style is the same as the famous national Capitol building in Washington.

      Duration: Approx. 45 Minutes

      Temple Square

      Approximately ten acres in size, Temple Square is the center of religious activity for the Church of Latter Day Saints, housing the Temple and Tabernacle that are central to the religion.

      Mormon Temple

      This massive temple took 40 years to build, and was finally opened in 1893. It sits in 10-acre Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah, and the campus is a popular tourist destination even though the inside is off-limits.

      Duration: Approx. 1 Hour 30 Minutes

      Great Salt Lake

      Located in the northernmost part of Utah, the Great Salt Lake is the largest saltwater lake in the Western Hemisphere and the fourth-largest terminal lake in the world. Its level of salinity is actually even higher than the ocean.

    Salt Lake City - Las Vegas (362 miles)

    In the morning we will explore Salt Lake City, UT. After visiting the Utah State Capitol, the Salt Lake Temple and the Great Salt Lake. After, we will travel to Las Vegas, NV. Here, guests are invited to take an optional night tour of the city.
    • Salt Lake City, UT

      Utah's gorgeous capital city sits amidst the mountains of the American Southwest on the shores of the breathtaking Great Salt Lake. The city is steeped in history and architecture in addition to wondrous vistas and scenery.

      Mormon Temple

      This 250,000-square-foot temple is the largest of the temples belonging to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, known colloquially as the Mormons. The public cannot tour the interior, but the facade is a sight to behold.

      Duration: Approx. 1 Hour 30 Minutes

      Utah State Capitol

      The home of all of the governmental processes for the state of Utah, the Utah State Capitol in Salt Lake City. The building is done in the ornate neoclassical revival style, purposefully reminiscent of the nation capitol in DC.

      Great Salt Lake

      Las Vegas becomes marvelously illuminated at night, and we will tour the city to see the Strip, Volcano at Mirage, the Old Town, the Monorail, the Venetian Hotel, The Luxor Pyramids, NewYork NewYork, MGM and Excalibur.

    Day 9

    Las Vegas - Grand Canyon West Rim - Las Vegas or Las Vegas Free Time (335 miles)

    Today customers can either choose to visit Grand Canyon West Rim or spend a free day in Las Vegas.
    Grand Canyon West Rim: In the morning, we will head towards the Grand Canyon, one of the seven natural wonders of the world, where we will visit famous Eagle Point and the amazing Skywalk Glass Bridge. Then, we will travel to Guano Point for an incredible view. For an even better view, guests can pay an extra fee to take a popular helicopter tour that flies over the entire canyon. Tour ends when we back to Las Vegas.
    Note: If customers choose free time in Las Vegas instead of visiting Grand Canyon West Rim, Customers need to pay $30/person.
    • Grand Canyon, AZ

      The Grand Canyon is often considered one of the seven wonders of the world, it offers one of the most spectacular examples of erosion which cannot be found anywhere else in the world.

      Grand Canyon West Rim

      Grand Canyon West is not part of Grand Canyon National Park, but a separate tourist area run by the Hualapai Tribe out of their reserved lands. It is the location of sights such as the Skywalk Glass Bridge.

      Eagle Point

      Eagle Point is one of the main attractions of the Grand Canyon West Rim. The area features the Skywalk Glass Bridge, and also a "Native American Village" walking tour as well as live performances and demonstrations by tribe members.

      Guano Point

      This scenic viewpoint gets its name from the Bat Cave Mine it overlooks. Visitors can enjoy the panoramic views of the Grand Canyon as well as learn the history of the old mine, parts of which still stand today.

      Skywalk Glass Bridge

      The Skywalk Glass Bridge hangs almost a mile into the air over the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. Guests can feel like they are floating as they look down through the transparent floors of the horseshoe-shaped bridge.

      West Rim Grand Canyon Helicopter Tour

    Las Vegas - Barstow - Los Angeles (228 miles)

    Before we leave Las Vegas, we will visit the Ethel M Chocolate Factory and its Botanical Cactus Gardens. After having lunch in Las Vegas, we will head back to Los Angeles. On the way, we will stop at the Tanger Outlets in Barstow, CA. We will arrive in Los Angeles in the evening.

      • If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.
    • Mandatory Fee (pay the fee in cash to the tour guide): $190/person, including admission to Yellowstone, Grand Teton National Park, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, Great Salt Lake, Monument Valley, Arches National Park, Canyonlands and fuel surcharge.

      Confirmation

    • All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book airline tickets until you receive the confirmation.

      Redemption

    • You will receive a confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order is processed. Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

    The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.

    Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.

    Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of the reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Take tours for details.

    Cancellation penalties per person (Notification day and departure day are not counted)

    • 30 or more days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount
    • 15-29 days or more prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
    • 8-14 days prior to departure - 30% of total purchase amount.
    • 4-7 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    • Within 3 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    • Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    • Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    • Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
    • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.

    Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strive to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods, duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

    Tour Cancellation:
    We reserve the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
