      Day 1

      Los Angeles - Las Vegas - Grand Canyon West (541 miles)

      Guests will be picked up in Los Angeles in the early morning. Today, we will depart for Las Vegas, passing through Mojave Desert and enjoy the barren landscape decorated by Joshua trees. Arrive in Las Vegas at noon for lunch. Later we will head to Grand Canyon West in the afternoon and stay overnight.

      Guests who plan to join the tour in Las Vegas should wait at LAS Int'l Airport Terminal One Baggage Claim #8 Starbucks by 1:30PM. Tour is staying overnight in West Rim Grand Canyon, to avoid possible flight delay and customers unable to catch the tour, arrival time by 12:00PM flights are suggested.

      • Grand Canyon, AZ

        Considered one of the seven natural wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon was carved over 17 million years by the Colorado River. This breathtaking, 18-mile-long canyon has been stunning visitors for hundreds of years.

        Grand Canyon West Rim

        Grand Canyon West is a separate tourist area run by the Hualapai Tribe of Indians. Optional activities which can be done at an extra cost include helicopter tours, the educational "Indian Village," and the Skywalk Glass Bridge.

        Eagle Point

        Eagle Point is one of the main attractions of the Grand Canyon West Rim. The area features the Skywalk Glass Bridge, and also a "Native American Village" walking tour as well as live performances and demonstrations by tribe members.

        Guano Point

        This scenic viewpoint gets its name from the Bat Cave Mine it overlooks. Visitors can enjoy the panoramic views of the Grand Canyon as well as learn the history of the old mine, parts of which still stand today.

        Skywalk Glass Bridge

        This transparent, horseshoe-shaped bridge hangs out over the West Rim of the Grand Canyon and offers guests a chance to feel as though the could just jump right off the edge of this natural wonder of the world.

      Grand Canyon West - Antelope Canyon - Horseshoe Bend - Kanab (192 miles)

      In the morning, we can watch sunrise. After breakfast we can take Helicopter and boat tour. Then, we will drive to Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend before heading to Kanab for the night.

        Antelope Canyon is a beautiful slot canyon located on the Navajo Nation near Page, Arizona. Lower Antelope Canyon is longer, narrower in spots, and even footing is not available in all areas.

        Upper Antelope Canyon

        Upper Antelope Canyon is called "the place where water runs through rocks" by the Navajo. Its entrance and entire length are at ground level, requiring no climbing. Beams occur most often in the summer months, as they require the sun to be high in the sky.

        Page is a city in Coconino County, AZ, near the Glen Canyon Dam and Lake Powell. Page was founded in 1957 as a housing community for workers and their families during the construction of nearby Glen Canyon Dam on the Colorado River.

        Horseshoe Bend

        Horseshoe Bend, located within the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area about 5 miles downriver from Lake Powell, is a sharp turn in the Colorado River that formed from erosion over the course of millions of years.

      Kanab - Bryce Canyon - Salt Lake City - Pocatello (458 miles)

      We will drive to Bryce Canyon this morning and travel to Salt Lake City in the afternoon and visit Temple Square and Great Salt Lake! Spend the night in Pocatello Idaho.

        Approximately ten acres in size, Temple Square is the center of religious activity for the Church of Latter Day Saints, housing the Temple and Tabernacle that are central to the religion.

        Great Salt Lake

        The largest saltwater lake in the Western Hemisphere is the famous Great Salt Lake in northern Utah. People visit the lake's namesake, Salt Lake City, every year to see the natural wonder and tour its shores.

      Pocatello - Yellowstone (207 miles)

      We will enter Yellowstone National Park this morning, where we will sightsee Grand Prismatic Spring, Fountain Paint Pots, Old Faithful Geyser, Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, Artist Point, wildlife up close... Spend the night in Big Sky.

        The largest, oldest, and most famous national park displays a fascinating scenery of hot springs, geysers, canyons, waterfalls, and nature everywhere you look!

        Grand Prismatic Hot Spring

        The third largest hot spring in the world, the Grand Prismatic Hot Spring gets its color from bacteria around its rim that feed off of the mineral-rich water. In the summer months, the hot spring is a vivid red-orange shade.

        Fountain Paint Pot

        Fountain Paint Pot, heated by the region's underground hot springs, F.P.P is half hot spring, half mud basin. The spring releases natural shades of red and yellow because of the oxidation of iron in the soil.

        Old Faithful Geyser

        Old Faithful is a cone geyser in the Upper Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park. It is one of the park's most well-known natural features, and is famous for its predictability. It generally erupts every 91 minutes.

        Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone

        This impressive gap in the earth in the first large canyon on the Yellowstone River. It is 24 miles long, and can reach a quarter-mile in depth and 3/4 a mile in width. It is gorgeously colored.

        Artist Point

        Named after the famous sketches of the waterfalls by Thomas Moran (but not actually the location where the sketched were done) this beautiful location showcases one of the most famous views in Yellowstone National Park.

        West Thumb Geyser Basin

        The West Thumb Geyser Basin is the largest geyser basin at Yellowstone Lake, and an impressive area of geothermal activity that contains hot springs, mud pots, and geysers-- some of which are even in the lake itself.

        Norris Geyser Basin

        Yellowstone National Park is full of areas like this - geyser basins - large, open areas where geothermic pressure from below the ground's surface force up various geysers and springs. The Norris Basin is one of the more accessible.

        Duration: Approx. 45 Minutes

        Mud Volcano Area

        The Mud Volcano blew itself apart in the early 20th century, but visitors can still see the impressive crater and other geothermal features in the surrounding area, such as the Mud Cauldron, Black Dragon's Caldron, and Dragon's Mouth Spring.

        Duration: Approx. 30 Minutes

        Midway Geyser Basin

        The Midway Geyser Basin in Yellowstone National Park is relatively small, but contains an impressive amount of thermodynamic geologic activity, including the Grand Prismatic Hot Spring, the largest in Yellowstone.

        Duration: Approx. 40 Minutes

        Fishing Bridge

        Located near the mouth of the Yellowstone River, the Fishing Bridge is a great location to spot the native Cutthroat trout. There is an RV park of the same name nearby.

        Biscuit Basin

        Three miles north of Old Faithful is Biscuit Basin, named for the unusual biscuit-like deposits formerly surrounding Sapphire Pool. Following the 1959 Hebgen Lake earthquake, Sapphire erupted, and the "biscuits" were blown away.

        Lower Yellowstone River Falls

        The Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River in Wyoming are the largest by volume in the Rocky Mountains of the western United States, and they stand more than 300 feet tall-- almost twice as high as Niagara Falls.

        Upper Yellowstone Falls

        Located a quarter-mile upstream of the larger Lower Falls, the Upper Yellowstone River Falls plunge 109 feet down an eroded lava cliff into the basin below. The area below the falls has been subject to heavier erosion than above.

        Yellowstone Lake

        Yellowstone Lake isn't just the largest single body of water in Yellowstone National Park, but the largest elevated freshwater lake in the US. The lake contains several underwater hot springs that melt its otherwise thick ice sheets in the winter.

      Yellowstone - Grand Teton - Jackson Hole - Salt Lake City (330 miles)

      We will continue to visit Yellowstone National Park in the morning. Next we will head to Grand Teton National Park. Afterwards, we will travel to Jackson Hole. Be sure to visit the Elk Antler Arches Square located in the center of Jackson! We will spend the night in Salt Lake City.

        Famous frontier town, located at the crossing of Grand Teton and Rocky Mountains, it became a heaven for outdoors sports enthusiast. The widely praised Elk Antler Arches Park, with its four arches made with thousands of elk antlers is a must see.

        Jackson Town Square

        Originating as a park in 1934, the Town Square is most known for its distinctive arches made from shed elk antlers that have been collected from the National Elk Refuge in Jackson Hole.

Music fountain at Bellagio, Volcanic Eruption at Mirage, Grand Canal in Venetian, Neon Lights Sky at Fremont Street Downtown Las Vegas.

        The home of all of the governmental processes for the state of Utah, the Utah State Capitol in Salt Lake City. The building is done in the ornate neoclassical revival style, purposefully reminiscent of the nation capitol in DC.

      In the morning, we will visit the Ethel M Chocolate Factory and admire its Botanical Cactus Garden. From Feb 15, 2020, we'll visit Seven Magic Mountains before stop in Barstow, CA, to visit the Tanger Outlets. Afterward, we will continue to LA, where guests will transfer to the airport for their departure flights. Alternatively, guests can choose to depart from Las Vegas, but are required to arrange their own transportation to the airport.       • LA Hotel Guest Pickup Policy: Guests who choose the pickup location "Hotel Guest Only" need to book at least one night at the hotel prior to the beginning of the tour to be eligible for this option. Please submit your hotel confirmation number to support@taketours.com once you have it, in order to complete the booking process. If you do not have a reservation at the hotel, please choose an alternative pickup option.
      • Return: The tour can drop off at the same pick-up point. You may leave the tour group from Las Vegas instead of Los Angeles. But, you are responsible to arrange your own ground transportation to LAS airport. In addition, please schedule your flight departure from Las Vegas after 2:00p.m in the afternoon. If you leave from LAX airport, please schedule your departure flight after 9:00p.m for U.S domestic flight or after 10:00p.m for International flight.

        • If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.
      • Grand Canyon West Mandatory Fee: $108/person (Admission to Grand Canyon West, 1 breakfast and 1 dinner)
      • Mandatory Fee: $160/person (Admissions for Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Bryce Canyon National Parks, Great Salt Lake, Horseshoe Bend, 4-star hotel and resort fee and fuel surcharge).

      • Booking: Please book airline tickets after your tour booking is confirmed, which should be within 1 business day.
      • Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.
      • Hotel rooms: Each hotel room can accommodate no more than 4 guests (adults or children), and existing bedding must be used.

      • All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book airline tickets until you have received the confirmation.

        Redemption

      • You will receive an confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order is received. Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

        Terms & Condition

      • All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking.
      • Changes to Reservations: A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary will be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
      • Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
        31 days or more prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
        15-30 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
        8-14 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
        Within 7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
        Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
        Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
        Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a scheduled trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain normal operations.
        The refund amount will be credited directly to your account. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 10% handling fee.
        NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.

        31 days or more prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
        15-30 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount plus $400/room penalty
        8-14 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount. plus $400/room penalty

        Within 7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
        The full refund will be credited directly to your account. The refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 10% handling fee.

      • We reserve right to cancel a schedule and fully refund affected customers, although we will make every effort to maintain the regular operation.
      • We reserve the right to modify the tour arrangements for smooth operation of the tour.
      • We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
      • Hotel Policy
        Smoking is strictly prohibited at all hotels, violation of this rule will result in a fine penalty of at least $250/person, along with other legal liabilities. One hotel room can accommodate 4 guests utmost (regardless of age). Guests need to contact the hotel and bear the fee yourselves if you require extra bed.
        Guests can check in to the hotel by tour confirmation number and valid ID.
        Note: guests cannot self-check-in in Las Vegas hotels. Please pick up room card from your tour guide.
