Day 1

In the morning, we will drive to Philadelphia, the birthplace of Penn University. The University of Pennsylvania, or UPenn, is a top private research university in the world. It is the member of the Ivy League schools and one of the 14 founding members of the Association of American Universities. Founded in 1740 by Benjamin Franklin, the University of Pennsylvania is the first modern institution of higher learning in the US to engage in science, technology and humanities education. In the past hundreds of years, Penn has greatly promoted the development of human civilization. Today we will take you into this ancient university to explore its campus. We will return to New York after the visit.

The University of Pennsylvania (commonly known as Penn or UPenn) is a private, Ivy League university located in Philadelphia. Incorporated as The Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania, Penn is one of 14 founding members of the Association of American Universities and one of the nine original colonial colleges.

University of Pennsylvania In-depth Tour

Drop off at the Pennsylvania Museum - Tour of Penn Museum Galleries (ticket included, 1 hour) - Visit the Museum gift shop and explore on your own (30 mins) - Penn Campus Tour (1 hour) - Lunch at either Campus Dining Hall or Penn Museum (lunch voucher included, 1 hour) - Walk to Penn Bookstore and shop (30 mins) - Bus pick up at Bookstore

Penn Musuem

Many of the museum's artifacts have been excavated in the past century and a half in the face of public openness. All the exhibits have fascinating stories about human beings, from the mysteries of the ancient world to modern cultures and concerns.

Penn Bookstore

The Penn Bookstore has two floors and is rich in goods. The first floor is mainly for books, school uniforms, and souvenirs. The second floor is for books and daily necessities. There are souvenirs with logos everywhere from T-shirts, themed chocolates, rings, watches, mugs and more.

Customers are held solely responsible for their own travel documents and/or visas if required.
Luggage: Each customer may bring on board one checked luggage plus one carry-on bag.
Bus Arrangement: Usually only passengers in the same order will be arranged in the same bus. If you book the tour separately with your friends and you want to sit in the same bus, you need to inform us before departure . Or you may be arranged in different buses.
Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.
This tour does not accept any City Pass or your own tickets for the attraction. Passengers who take this tour need to purchase admission tickets from tour escort upon arrival.

Confirmation

All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

Redemption

We will send the confirmation number to customer in the form of mail and the customer can change the ticket to board the ship by the confirmation number in the scenic spot.

Terms & Condition

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. The time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through webmail at Contact Us .
Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
15 days or more prior to departure - Free cancellation with full refund. Please reconfirm the penalty for the added hotel or flight ticket.
8-14 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
Within 7 days prior to departure or no show - 100% of the total purchase amount.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain the normal operation.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.
Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
