Pricing Policy

Buy 2 Get 3rd Free: (1) Cancellation of free-fare passenger must be made at least 7 days before departure. (2) No-show or late cancellation incurs a $100 penalty fee for the reserved bus seat.
Child rates: Child rates apply to those who are 0-12 years old. Child above 2 years must take the seat. Customers are welcome to use child safety seats on that have lap and/or shoulder belts/harnesses for the infant under 2 years. Please note that each hotel room can only accommodate up to 4 guests of any age.

Day 1: New York - Thousand Islands (summer) / Secret Cavern (winter)(739 miles)

Guests will be picked up in New York and New Jersey in the early morning. From there we will travel north into Upstate New York. During the summer, we will drive to the Thousand Islands, where we will take a Boat Tour of the area. When it is too cold for the boat tour to run, we will instead visit the Secrect Caverns. If time allows, we will watch the Niagara IMAX movie.

Thousand Islands, NY

Available for departures from Apr thru Nov. The Thousand Islands is an archipelago at the Canada-U.S. border from the northeast corner of Lake Ontario. They stretch for about 50 miles. The U.S. islands are in the state of New York and the Canadian islands are in Ontario. The smaller islands only have single residences.

Thousand Islands Cruise

These boat tours of the unique and impressive Thousand Islands region take visitors by some of the most well-known locales, such as Zavikon Island, the mysterious Deer Island, and the famous Boldt Castle mansion on Heart Island.

For those who wish to learn more about the geological activity that formed the most compelling natural attraction in the country, this IMAX movie is the perfect opportunity to learn more about the natural and cultural history of the area.

Day 2: Niagara Falls - Maid of the Mist (summer) / Jet Boat (winter) - Corning - New York(553 miles)

In the morning we will make our way to the Niagara Falls.
In summer, we will visit Goat Island and Cave of the Winds, later we will take the Maid of the Mist cruise to get up close to the falls.
In winter, we will take an optional Niagara Falls In-Depth Tour which includes Old Fort Niagara and Whirlpool State Park. We can take an exciting Niagara Falls Jetboat ride on the river. Next, we will visit the Corning Glass Museum to see the fascinating glass art.
We will return to New York in the evening, please see "Deparure and Return" for pickup and drop off information.

Goat Island

Goat Island is an Island in the Niagara River located between the two waterfalls that makes up Niagara Falls. Its Terrapin Point is often visited by tourists and offers some of the most breathtaking views of the falls.

Cave of the Winds

The Cave of the Winds on the New York side of Niagara Falls is an attraction which allows people to walk along pathways on the river at the base of the American Falls. It is open in the summer.

Corning is a city in Steuben County, New York, United States, on the Chemung River. The population was 11,183 at the 2010 census. It is named for Erastus Corning, an Albany financier and railroad executive who was an investor in the company that developed the community.

Corning Museum of Glass

This museum in western New York is dedicated to the history, art, and science behind glassmaking. Its collection contains more than 45,000 objects, some of which date back millennia. It was founded in 1951 and sees 400,000 visitors annually.
Free visit the exhibition "Journey to The Moon: How Glass Got Us There", which shows this inconspicuous glass material played an indispensable role in creating an epic moon landing.

If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.

A mandatory service fees: Minimum $12 / day / person should be paid in cash to tour guide and the bus driver as a service fee. Any child / Infant reserving a seat will have to pay the service fees as well. Ex: 2 people taking a 2-day tour would pay: $12 x 2 (seats) x 2 (days) = $48.
Personal room fees: such as laundry or valet services, telephone calls, or alcoholic beverages/mini bar items, unless they are otherwise specified.

Your ticket(s) will be confirmed at the time of booking. Please allow up to 8 hours to receive the confirmation. Your booking will be processed as soon as possible.

Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Terms & Condition

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. The time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through webmail at Contact Us .
Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
15 days or more prior to departure - Free cancellation with full refund.
8-14 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
Within 7 days prior to departure or no show - 100% of the total purchase amount.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain the normal operation.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your account. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 10% handling fee.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.
Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
Some of the destinations may be closed due to Covid pandemic.Please follow your tour leader's instruction. Your kind understanding and cooperation are highly appreciated.

Additional Note

Hotel & Tour Guide Information: This information will be provided by the tour guide the night before departure between 7:00pm - 9:00pm EST via phone call or text message. If for any reason you do not receive the call or text, you should be at the pickup location at least 20 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
Tour route may be changed and reversed; you may contact the vendor 1-2 days prior departure to confirm final itinerary
Customers are held solely responsible for their own travel documents and/or visas if required.
Bus Arrangement: Usually only passengers in the same order will be arranged in the same bus. If you book the tour separately with your friends and you want to sit in the same bus, you need to inform us before departure . Or you may be arranged in different buses.
Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.

Would it be able to upgrade the hotel to Niagara Falls overnight hotel if we pay the extra fee same as 2-Day Niagara Falls Tour from New York/New Jerse?
