Day 1: New York - Washington DC - Philadelphia (365 miles)

We leave New York heading South. We will pass through the States of New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland, passing through the City of Baltimore ultimately arriving in Washington DC. We will see the White House from the outside (due to security we cannot enter). We will then visit Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, the Korean Memorial and the famous Reflection Pool which separates the Washington Monument from the Lincoln Memorial. Next we will visit "Daniel's World" in the Holocaust Museum before visiting ether the Bureau of Engraving and Printing OR The Iwo-Jima Memorial. We then continue on to The Air and Space Museum where we will have free time to walk around. Next we will drive towards Capitol Hill where we will have a view of the Capitol Building, home to the United States Congress. From there we will drive towards the restaurant district where we find both dinner as well as our hotel.

Day 2: Hershey - Lancaster - Philadelphia - New York (206 miles)

We begin the day in the State of Pennsylvania at the Hershey Chocolate Factory. We will then drive to visit Amish Farm and House. From there we will proceed towards the City of Philadelphia where our first stop will be on one of the nicest boulevards in the world, Benjamin Franklin Boulevard, in front of the famous Rocky Steps. We will then drive to see the famous Liberty Bell as well as the site of the Yoni Netanyahu Monument. We will then begin making our way back to New York City where we will arrive sometime in the evening.

Confirmation

  • Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a receipt of booking by email. Within 72 hours of submitting your reservation you will receive a confirmation email confirming the booking status. Please do not book any airline tickets until you receive the status of your booking.

Redemption

  • You will receive an email (e-ticket) after your order was received. Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.

Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us.

Cancellation penalties per person as follows:(Notification day and departure day are not counted)

  • Cancellations made between 30 and 15 days prior to departure will have 50% cancellation penalty.
  • Full tour price will be charged for cancellations made 14 days or less. No refunds will be made on unused portions of a tour.
  • Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
  • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.
  • No refunds will be made on unused portions of a tour.
  • EAST COAST TOURS INCLUDING AIR: No refund for any changes or cancellations made after booking the tour.
  • WEST COAST CANCELLATION ON TOURS WITH AIR: A non refundable fee of $75.00 per person applies from time of booking for the air portion. The rest of cancellation policy remains as above.

Responsibility
We act as agent for all issued tickets or vouchers and all arrangements for transportation, conveyance or hotel accommodation and assumes no liability or responsibility for (1) any injuries, loss, damage, accidents (2) delay, irregularities or inconvenience by any defect in a vehicle (3) traffic conditions, access to sites, additional costs or other conditions beyond its control. We reserve the right to cancel or change any tours, schedules, or rates and to cancel or substitute routes and stops on any tour without prior notice & to substitute equipment as needed. We reserve the right to remove any passenger that is a disturbance or posses any threat to the smooth operation of a tour.

Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
