    Today, guests will arrive at one of the there major airports in the New York City Area (JFK, LGA, EWR), where they will be met by a tour guide at the baggage claim. There is a complimentary shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. For guests who meet tour guide before 9:00AM in JFK or LGA airport, guests can join NYC Morning Tour. Guests who arrive at JFK or LGA before 5:00pm have the option to tour the Flushing, Queens at their own leisure, we'll provided free left-luggage, and our guests can visit nearby Queens Crossing, Macy's Shopping Center. Those arriving at EWR before 12:00 can free to go to the Jersey Garden Outlets Mall. All who arrive before 4:30pm can join an optional Night Tour of the city.

    Today, we will spend the day touring New York City, visiting some of this city's most iconic landmarks, like the Empire State Building to overlook this sprawling metropolis. Then, we will take a sightseeing cruise to the Statue of Liberty. We will also come to Times Square to visit Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum. Pass by Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, Ground Zero.

    Note:Starting from Jan 1st, 2019, we will no longer visit Empire State Building, and go to visit One World Observatory instead.

      Times Square

      Called "The Crossroads of the World," this major intersection in midtown Manhattan-- where Broadway hits Seventh Avenue-- is a world-famous icon of both New York City and the United States. It has appeared in countless forms of media.

      One World Trade Center

      One World Trade Center is the main building of the new World Trade Center complex in New York City. Once completed in late 2013, this will be both the tallest building in New York and third-tallest in the world.

    New York - Princeton - Philadelphia - Washington DC (235 miles)

    In the morning, we will visit Princeton, NJ to see the campus of the prestigious Ivy League school, Princeton University. Next, we will depart for historic Philadelphia, PA to visit National Independence Park, where we will see the famous Liberty Bell. Then we will go to visit One Liberty Observation Deck, which is the only observation deck in Philadelphia. In the afternoon, we will head to Washington D.C., and visit the Madame Tussands in Washington D.C. We will have the chance to explore the inner structure of The White House, taking photographs with Oval Office desk aka The Resolute Desk. Next, we will visit the White House (exterior, reverse side of $20 Bill). We will also visit the U.S. Department of Treasury (exterior, reverse side of $10 Bill), Lincoln Memorial, Korean War Memorial and Vietnam War Memorial. (Due to effect of early sunset during winter time, we will visit Lincoln Memorial after dusk.)

      When Philadelphia was the capital of the newly-formed United States of America, this building was home to the young Congress and all of its proceedings. Congress Hall stands right next to Independence Hall in Independence National Park.

      This iconic American monument honors the 16th president of the United States. Abraham Lincoln was president during the American Civil War, and is most famous for the Emancipation Proclamation that freed all of the slaves in the US.

      Korean War Veterans Memorial

      This memorial commemorates those who served for the United States in the Korean War. It is located south of the Reflecting Pool at the National Mall. The simple memorial is triangular in shape will a circle at the top.

      Vietnam Veterans Memorial

      This memorial in Washington, DC serves as a place to remember the American soldier who were lost or killed during the tumultuous Vietnam War. Originally controversial in design, the simple memorial has become a shrine for the American people.

    Washington DC

    Depart from the hotel in the early morning; we will first visit the US Capitol (reverse side of $50 bill). Our professional tour guide will bring you inside and have a look around the interior of the Capitol building (if the Capitol is closed, we will see the exterior of the Capitol building instead.) We will also visit the Library of Congress (exterior), which has served the United States Congress for more than 200 years, and Supreme Court of the United States (exterior).
    Summer: we will take the D.C. Cruise along Potomac River to see many of the areas' most historic landmarks and memorials in a unique way. In the afternoon, you will be able to visit the Smithsonian Institution freely(no tour guide). We will also visit Newseum. In the evening, guests need to gather in front of Air and Space Museum and then will be taken to have dinner.
    Winter: we will visit International Spy Museum. Along the way, you will see the Washington Monument, the World War II Memorial, the Thomas Jefferson Memorial and etc. We will also visit Newseum, a top 10 ranked popular attraction in Washington D.C. In the afternoon, the tour will go to DCA and come back to New York City. In the afternoon, you will be able to visit the Smithsonian Institution freely(no tour guide). In the evening, guests need to gather in front of Air and Space Museum and then will be taken to have dinner.

      (Outside Visit) The Supreme Court is another magnificent addition to Washington's neoclassical buildings. It is home to the country's highest governing judicial body. Visitors may tour the building on their own and also attend court, provided that it is in session.

      Potomac River Cruise

      The Potomac River runs along Washington, DC, the capital city of the United States of America. Visitors to this famous locale can opt to see many of the area's most historic landmarks and memorials in a unique way.

      International Spy Museum

      Washington Monument

      This iconic obelisk is a memorial to the commander-in-chief of the American revolutionary army and eventual the first president of the United States of America, George Washington. The massive stone structure began construction in 1848.

      World War II Memorial

      One of Washington, DC's many monuments and memorials, the WWII Memorial pays homage to those who served in the US military during that conflict. It was opened in 2002.

      Jefferson Memorial

      The Thomas Jefferson Memorial is a memorial to the third president of the United States. The impressive building is neoclassical in design and has been standing since 1943. It sees more than two million visitors every year. It's only available during the Cherry Blossom time.

      This interactive museum details the history of journalism, news, and media. Established in 1997, it is located in a sleek, modern building filled with multiple theaters and exhibits. It is also where Al Jazeera America has its studios.

    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.

    Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .

    Tour Departure: This tour has 100% guaranteed departure; if the tour is cancelled there will be refund of 120%. Restrictions apply; due to weather conditions, State Emergencies, Airport Closures or anything beyond the control of the tour operator the 120% refund will NOT apply.

    Cancellation penalties per person for tours last 5 or more days(Notification day and departure day are not counted)

    • Up to 46 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
    • 21-45 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
    • 8-20 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    • 1-7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    • Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    • Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.

    Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

    Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
