    New York (9 miles)

    Today, guests will arrive at one of the there major airports in the New York City Area (JFK, LGA, EWR), where they will be met by a tour guide at the baggage claim. There is a complimentary shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. Guests who arrive at JFK or LGA before 5:00pm have the option to tour the Flushing, Queens at their own leisure, we'll provided free left-luggage, and our guests can visit nearby Queens Crossing, Macy's Shopping Center. Those arriving at EWR before 12:00 can free to go to the Jersey Garden Outlets Mall. All who arrive before 4:30pm can join an optional Night Tour of the city.

    New York City In-Depth Tour

    We will begin the day on Wall Street, taking pictures of the famous Charging Bull statue. Then, we have the chance to take a sightseeing cruise on the Hudson River that provides great photo opportunities of the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge. We will also visit the USS Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum and the Museum of Modern Art. We can also go to Fifth Avenue to shop at luxury stores. Later, we will stroll around Central Park and take a break to taste Lady M, a famous handmade cake shop. Our tour bus will take guests to "World Crossroads", Times Square. You can also go to Ripley's Believe It or Not. It is one of the most entertaining museums in the world.

      Ripley's Believe It or Not! Times Square Odditorium has been shocking and wowing spectators since 1939. This museum of oddities contains over 500 pieces in 18,000 square feet, and also features live sideshow performances throughout the day.

    New York City Tour

    In the morning, we will visit the observatory at the top of One World Trade Center, as well as the 9/11 Memorial and Museum in New York City. We will also see the Oculus, which is shaping up to become one of the city's major transportation hubs. Of course, we will not miss the famous Metropolitan Museum of Art (in-depth tour). Then, we will visit the headquarters of the United Nations Lobby (Government-issued photo identification is required to enter the United Nations. For security reasons, children under 5 years of age are not permitted on tour. If visiting is not available or the United Nations closes for certain reasons, we will visit outside of the UN and take pictures for memory). In the evening, we will be able to purchase tickets for a famous Broadway show (please notify your tour guide in advance due to limited available seating).

    In the morning, we will visit Pricneton, NJ to see the campus of the prestigious Ivy League school, Princeton University. Next, we will depart for historic Philadelphia, PA to visit National Independence Park, where we will see Congress Hall and the Liberty Bell. We will also go to visit One Liberty Observation Deck, which is the only observation deck in Philadelphia. In the afternoon, we will head to Washington D.C., and visit the Madame Tussands in Washington D.C. Next, we will visit the White House, U.S. Department of Treasury, Lincoln Memorial, Korean War Memorial and Vietnam War Memorial.

      Korean War Veterans Memorial

      This memorial commemorates those who served for the United States in the Korean War. It is located south of the Reflecting Pool at the National Mall. The simple memorial is triangular in shape will a circle at the top.

      Vietnam Veterans Memorial

      This memorial in Washington, DC serves as a place to remember the American soldier who were lost or killed during the tumultuous Vietnam War. Originally controversial in design, the simple memorial has become a shrine for the American people.

    Washington D.C. City Tour - Home

    Depart from the hotel in early morning; we will first visit the US Capitol (reverse side of $50 bill). Our professional tour guide will bring you inside and have a look around the interior of the Capitol building (if the Capitol is closed, we will see the exterior of the Capitol building instead.) We will also visit the Library of Congress (exterior), which has served the United States congress for more than 200 years, and Supreme Court of the United States (exterior).Summer: we will take the D.C. Cruise along Potomac River to see many of the areas' most historic landmarks and memorials in a unique way/ Winter: we will visit International Spy Museum. Along the way, you will see the Washington Monument, the World War II Memorial, the Thomas Jefferson Memorial and etc. We will also visit Newseum, a top 10 ranked popular attraction in Washington D.C. In the afternoon, the tour will go to DCA and come back to New York City.

    • City passes are not accepted during an escorted tour due to the fact that they do not correspond into the tour schedule. The group entrance tickets provided by tour guides have fast lane and tour guides accompany passengers for activities.
    • Bus Arrangement: Usually only passengers in the same order will be arranged in the same bus. If you book the tour separately with your friends and you want to sit in the same bus, you need to inform us before departure . Or you may be arranged in different buses.
    • Itineraries are subject to change due to the weather, transportation and other conditions, in order to provide the best experience for you.
    • Customers are held solely responsible for their own travel documents and/or visas if required.
    • Hotel rooms: Each hotel room can accommodate no more than 4 guests (adults or children), and existing bedding must be used

    • Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

      Terms & Condition

    • If the weather condition, war, general strikes and other unforeseen circumstances interrupt the journey, we reserve the right to rearrange the journey without refunding the tour fee.
    • If visitors cannot join the tour because of personal reason, the fee for hotels and transportation is not refundable.

      The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.

      Booking changes
      A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.

      Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
      Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .

      Tour Departure: This tour has 100% guaranteed departure; if the tour is cancelled there will be refund of 120%. Restrictions apply; due to weather conditions, State Emergencies, Airport Closures or anything beyond the control of the tour operator the 120% refund will NOT apply.

    Cancellation penalties per person for tours last 5 or more days(Notification day and departure day are not counted)

    • Up to 46 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
    • 21-45 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
    • 8-20 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    • 1-7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    • Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    • Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.

    Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

    Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
