Day 1: New York

Our first stop of the day will be the Empire State Building so we can get a full view of the city we are about to explore. Then, we will take a Statue of Liberty Cruise that will take us to the base of Lady Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge. After that, we will stop by the USS Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum. In the Financial District, we will visit the New York Stock Exchange, the Charging Bull, Trinity Church, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Times Square, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, and Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum. Later, on a bus tour, we will see Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, the United Nations Headquarters, Ground Zero, and One World Trade Center. In the evening, guests can arrange to see a performance on Broadway at their own expense.

Passengers will be picked up in Philadelphia in the early morning. Today, we will see the Independence National Park, the location of Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. Afterwards, we will continue on our way to Washington DC to have US Capitol In-depth Tour, and take some photos of the exteriors of the White House. We will also visit the Lincoln Memorial, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and the Korean War Memorial. We will pass by the Washington Monument, the World War II Memorial, and the Thomas Jefferson Memorial. In the summer, we will take Potomac River Cruise.

We will then continue on to Niagara Falls, NY where we will see the IMAX Adventure Movie. In summer, we can then choose to take the Maid of Mist. In the evening we will also take the Niagara Falls Night Tour.

In the morning, we will visit the Central Park of New York and the 5th Ave. We will pass by Trump Tower, Apple Flagship store, and more. (There would be no space for storage shopping bags so please do not purchase any goods on that day.) Then, we will head to Times Square to see New Year's Eve Countdown. Cheer with the entire world as the ball drops!

You will have 3 options for the countdown:

1. You may walk to Times Square and watch performances before the countdown. At the same time, the countdown zone will be closed for pedestrians only; you may experience the world-famous New Year street celebrations to witness the historic moment. (Free of charge)

    • If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.
    • Broadway Show: the admission is on your own expense, you can book tickets from tour guide upon arrival or online in advance owing to seats are limited.
    • All meals and drinks during the trip.
    • A mandatory service fees: Minimum $10 / day / person should be paid in cash to tour guide and the bus driver as a service fee. Any child / Infant reserving a seat will have to pay the service fees as well. Ex: 2 people taking a 2-day tour would pay: $10 x 2 (seats) x 2 (days) = $40.
    • Personal room fees: such as laundry or valet services, telephone calls, or alcoholic beverages/mini bar items, unless they are otherwise specified.
    • Any private expenses.

    Additional Note

    • City passes are not accepted during an escorted tour due to the fact that they do not correspond into the tour schedule. The group entrance tickets provided by tour guides have fast lane and tour guides accompany passengers for activities.
    • Bus Arrangement: Usually only passengers in the same order will be arranged in the same bus. If you book the tour separately with your friends and you want to sit in the same bus, you need to inform us before departure . Or you may be arranged in different buses.
    • Itineraries are subject to change due to the weather, transportation and other conditions, in order to provide the best experience for you.
    • Customers are held solely responsible for their own travel documents and/or visas if required.
    • Hotel rooms: Each hotel room can accommodate no more than 4 guests (adults or children), and existing bedding must be used
    • Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.

    Confirmation

    • All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

    Redemption

    • Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

    Terms & Condition

    • PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
      The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.
    • Booking changes
      A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
    • Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
      Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
    • Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
      Up to 46 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
      21-45 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
      9-20 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
      1-8 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
      Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
      Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
      The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
      NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds 30 days after completion of the tour.
    • Itinerary Variations
      We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
      In case of attraction closures (due to holidays or construction, etc.), tour guide may make some necessary changes to the itinerary accordingly.
      Itineraries are subject to change due to the weather, transportation and other conditions, in order to provide the best experience for you.
    • Tour Cancellation:
      We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers. We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
