Day 1: New York City(50 miles)

Today, guests will arrive at one of the three major airports in the New York City Area (JFK, LGA, EWR), where they will be met by a tour guide at the baggage claim. There is a complimentary shuttle service from the airport to the hotel.
(1) For guests who can meet tour guide with claimed baggage before 9:00 am at JFK/LGA airport, or arrive Flushing departure location begore 9:30 am, we will offer New York Morning Tour.
(2) Guests who meet tour guide before 5:00 pm at JFK/LGA airport will be sent to Flushing, Queens. Our guests can visit nearby Queens Crossing, Macy's Shopping Center. We have a customer service center in the center of Flushing with free luggage storage service and wifi. We will arrange a hotel drop-off service for guests based on the arrival time and volume.
(3) Those arriving at EWR airport before 12:00 pm can go to the Jersey Garden Outlets Mall by taking our shuttle for free.
(4) For those who arrive at JFK/LGA airport after 5:00 pm or those who arrive at EWR airport after 12:00 pm, we will directly take you to the hotel for rest.
(5) All guests who can meet tour guide with claimed baggage before 4:30 pm, or arrive at Flushing/Chinatown departure location before 4:30 pm can join an optional Night Tour of the New York City.

Day 2: New York

Our first stop of the day will be the Empire State Building so we can get a full view of the city we are about to explore. Then, we will take a Statue of Liberty Cruise that will take us to the base of Lady Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge. After that, we will stop by the USS Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum. In the Financial District, we will visit the New York Stock Exchange, the Charging Bull statue, Trinity Church, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Times Square, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, and Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum. Later, on a bus tour, we will see Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, the United Nations Headquarters, Ground Zero, and One World Trade Center. In the evening, guests can arrange to see a performance on Broadway at their own expense.

    Charging Bull

    This bronze sculpture that sits at the northern tip of New York's Bowling Green Park is ready to strike! It was commissioned to represent the "strength and power of the American people" after the stock market crashed in 1987.

    Trinity Church

    Built in the mid-1800s, Trinity Church (also called St. Paul's Chapel) is the oldest public building that is in continuous use in NYC. The current church is the third on this site; the first Trinity Church was built in 1698.

    The Metropolitan Museum of Art

    The Metropolitan Museum of Art is not just the largest art museum in the United States, but also one of the three biggest in the world. Its collection contains more than 2 million works of art.

    Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum is a favorite attraction of people all over the world. Uncannily lifelike wax sculptures of figures both modern and historic decorate the halls of this museum, which dates back to London and 1836.

    Fifth Avenue

    Ground Zero

    (Passing By) In the United States, "Ground Zero" refers to the site of the tragic terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001, and killed thousands of people. Today, the area is a construction site of future buildings and memorials.

    Broadway has been the heart of the New York's live theater scene for over a century. There is always a plethora of plays in production, ranging from classics to modern experiments, so visitors can always catch a show.

Day 3: New York - Philadelphia - Washington DC(236 miles)

Today, we will drive to Philadelphia to see Independence National Park, the location of Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. Afterwards, we will continue on our way to Washington DC to visit the Lincoln Memorial, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and the Korean War Memorial. We can also take some photos of the exteriors of the White House and the US Capitol. Then, we will visit the National Air and Space Museum, followed by a Potomac River Cruise, during which we will see the Washington Monument, the World War II Memorial, and the Thomas Jefferson Memorial.

    Independence National Historical Park

    This National Historical Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania serves as a way of preserving important Revolutionary War sites for future generations. Called "America's most historic square mile," this 55-acre park in the "Old City" district is not to be missed.

    Liberty Bell

    The famously cracked Liberty Bell is a sign of American Independence and spirit. Located at Liberty Bell Center in Philadelphia, PA, this symbol of the American Revolution was crafted in 1752-- more than 250 years ago.

    Independence Hall

    One of Philadelphia's most famous landmarks, Independence Hall in Independence National Historical Park is the location where both the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution were debated, written, and ratified by the Founding Fathers of the USA.

    The capital of the United States of America sits on the scenic Potomac River. Monuments, museums, and Americana characterize this historic city, which is located in the District of Columbia between the states of Maryland and Virginia.

    Lincoln Memorial

    This iconic American monument honors the 16th president of the United States. Abraham Lincoln was president during the American Civil War, and is most famous for the Emancipation Proclamation that freed all of the slaves in the US.

    Vietnam Veterans Memorial

    This memorial in Washington, DC serves as a place to remember the American soldier who were lost or killed during the tumultuous Vietnam War. Originally controversial in design, the simple memorial has become a shrine for the American people.

    Korean War Veterans Memorial

    This memorial commemorates those who served for the United States in the Korean War. It is located south of the Reflecting Pool at the National Mall. The simple memorial is triangular in shape will a circle at the top.

    White House

    The world-famous White House in Washington, DC is the official residence of the president of the United States and the place where most of the work is done. The facade of this neoclassical mansion is a global icon.

    (Outside Visit) The famous United States Capitol is the meeting place of the US Congress, and has been for more than 200 years. The building is famous for its elaborate dome and intricately designed, detailed columns.

    National Air and Space Museum

    One of the Smithsonian Institute's museums in Washington, DC, the National Air and Space Museum chronicles the history of flight. From the Wright Brother to Buzz Aldrin, the exhibits at this museum explore all of humanity's air travels.

    Potomac River Cruise

    The Potomac River runs along Washington, DC, the capital city of the United States of America. Visitors to this famous locale can opt to see many of the area's most historic landmarks and memorials in a unique way.

    From 1/15/2017, if the cruise closed, we will visit International Spy Museum instead.

    Washington Monument

    This iconic obelisk is a memorial to the commander-in-chief of the American revolutionary army and eventual the first president of the United States of America, George Washington. The massive stone structure began construction in 1848.

    World War II Memorial

    One of Washington, DC's many monuments and memorials, the WWII Memorial pays homage to those who served in the US military during that conflict. It was opened in 2002.

    Jefferson Memorial

    The Thomas Jefferson Memorial is a memorial to the third president of the United States. The impressive building is neoclassical in design and has been standing since 1943. It sees more than two million visitors every year. It's only available during the Cherry Blossom time.

Day 4: Washington D.C. - Corning - Niagara Falls(428 miles)

Today, we will head north to visit the Corning Glass Museum in Corning, NY. Then, we will continue to Niagara Falls, where we can choose to explore on our own or embark on an in-depth tour of the area that includes visits to Whirlpool State Park and Old Fort Niagara. Later, we will check into our hotel in the area.

    Corning Museum of Glass

    This museum in western New York is dedicated to the history, art, and science behind glassmaking. Its collection contains more than 45,000 objects, some of which date back millennia. It was founded in 1951 and sees 400,000 visitors annually.

    Free visit the exhibition "Journey to the Moon: How Glass Got Us There", which shows this inconspicuous glass material played an indispensable role in creating an epic moon landing.

Today, we will leave New York and head for Boston, enjoying the scenery on the way. In the afternoon, we will visit the campuses of Harvard University and take pictures with MIT. Then, we will pass by Trinity Cathedral, the Hancock Building, the Boston Athenaeum, Boston Common, the Public Gardens and the Massachusetts State House. For dinner, we will enjoy a delicious lobster meal.

    (Passing By) Trinity Church is located in Boston's upscale Back Bay neighborhood. It is a parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts, and the elaborate and ornate building has become a landmark and icon in downtown Boston.

    John Hancock Tower

    (Passing By) The John Hancock Tower is an iconic skyscraper in Boston, MA. Constructed in 1968, this beautiful blue building is staple of the Boston skyline. It is the tallest building both in Boston and all of New England.

    Boston Athenaeum

    (Passing By) As one of the oldest independent libraries in the United States - founded in 1807 - the Boston Athenaeum contains a rare book collection of over 100,000 volumes and a comparable collection of art.

    Boston Common

    (Passing By) Boston's famous park has been serving citizens of the city for over 200 years. The 50 acres of rolling lawns and clear ponds have seen the likes of everyone from Martin Luther King to Paul Revere.

    Public Garden

    (Passing By) Adjacent to the Boston Common, this was the first public botanical gardens in the U.S. Established in 1837, the garden is known for the swan boats that visitors can take onto the ponds.

    Massachusetts State House

    (Outside Visit) Perched grandly atop Beacon Hill, the Massachusetts State House has been the location of Massachusetts government since 1798. This iconic domed building houses the governor's offices and the state legislature. Tours must be scheduled in advance.

    Boston Lobster Dinner

    (The lobster dinner is on a Chinese restaurant style) New England is known for its lobster. Having a lobster dinner in Boston is certainly on many a visitor's to-do list.

In the morning, we will go sightseeing in Boston by embarking on a Boston Harbor cruise, which will provide us with amazing views o the city from the water. After that, we will head to Quincy Market for lunch and some shopping time. Later, we will board the bus to head to New York City, where we will be able to go shopping at the Bloomingdale's flagship store and on Fifth Avenue.

In the morning, we will visit the Central Park of New York and the 5th Ave. We will pass by Trump Tower, Apple Flagship store, and more. (There would be no space for storage shopping bags so please do not purchase any goods on that day.) Then, we will head to Times Square to see New Year's Eve Countdown. Cheer with the entire world as the ball drops!

You will have 3 options for the countdown:

1. You may walk to Times Square and watch performances before the countdown. At the same time, the countdown zone will be closed for pedestrians only; you may experience the world-famous New Year street celebrations to witness the historic moment. (Free of charge)

2.Buy an Applebee Party Pass! ($375 for adults, $250 for kids)

3. New York Sightseeing Countdown Dinner Cruise. ($411/person, including transfer service to the pier)

    Flights after 7:00PM: Free transfer to Jersey Garden Outlets is available.

    • Free Airport Pickup: Free pickup from any of the three major New York airports (LGA, EWR, JFK) is available between 8:30am and 00:00am. Outside those hours, guests will be charged a fee of $120 for the first two people and $10 for each additional person. Please book your arrival flight before 11:00pm.
    • Flight Arrangement :
      • After the countdown, guests can choose to return to the hotel and rest or use a free drop-off service directly to the three major airports (LGA / JFK / EWR), taking flights after 4:00 AM on 1 January 2019. If the room is not occupied at that night (count by room), Tour fee does not change; If room is occupying, and drop-off service is provided for guests who shared the room, there will be a one-time charge of $20/person, please inform your tour leader in advance.

      • If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.

    • A mandatory service fees: Minimum $10 / day / person should be paid in cash to tour guide and the bus driver as a service fee. Any child / Infant reserving a seat will have to pay the service fees as well. Ex: 2 people taking a 2-day tour would pay: $10 x 2 (seats) x 2 (days) = $40.
    • Personal room fees: such as laundry or valet services, telephone calls, or alcoholic beverages/mini bar items, unless they are otherwise specified.

    Confirmation

    • All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

    Redemption

    • Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

    Terms & Condition

    • PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
      The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.
    • Booking changes
      A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
    • Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
      Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
    • Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
      Up to 46 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
      21-45 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
      8-20 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
      1-7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
      Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
      Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
      The refund amount will be credited directly to your account. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 10% handling fee.
      NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds 30 days after completion of the tour.
    • Itinerary Variations
      We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
    • Tour Cancellation:
      We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers. We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.

    Additional Note

    • City passes are not accepted during an escorted tour due to the fact that they do not correspond into the tour schedule. The group entrance tickets provided by tour guides have fast lane and tour guides accompany passengers for activities.
    • Bus Arrangement: Usually only passengers in the same order will be arranged in the same bus. If you book the tour separately with your friends and you want to sit in the same bus, you need to inform us before departure . Or you may be arranged in different buses.
    • Itineraries are subject to change due to the weather, transportation and other conditions, in order to provide the best experience for you.
    • Customers are held solely responsible for their own travel documents and/or visas if required.
    • Hotel rooms: Each hotel room can accommodate no more than 4 guests (adults or children), and existing bedding must be used
    • Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.
