Day 2: New York City Tour

Today, we will first go to the Columbia University in Upper Manhattan and take a tour in this Ivy League school. Then we will head to the Central Park, the first man-made landscape park in the US. There is a park called Strawberry Fields built to commemorate John Lennan. Next, we will drive to the New York Public Library with rich collections and Bryant Park, an oasis in the downtown area. You may taste delicious cakes and coffee in Lady M cake and Blue Bottle Coffee at your own expense. Finally, we"ll take a stroll in the Times Square, which is known as the "crossroads of the world", and you may choose to enjoy a classic Broadway musical at your own expense!

Rise and shine! We will first go to visit New York University. Next, follow us and take a visit to the Little Island. You can see the Hudson River and the skyline of Manhattan when you climb high. Then we will take a cruise and travel around the Statue of Liberty! In the afternoon, we will visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art (MOMA). Finally, let's enjoy our time in the popular Hudson Yards! You may take a visit to the Vessel and The Edge, the suspended viewing platform. You can also enjoy delicious food here.

The Vessel

It is a structure and landmark which was built as part of the Hudson Yards Redevelopment Project in Manhattan. It is designed by the British designer Thomas Heatherwick, the elaborate honeycomb-like structure rises 16 stories and consists of 154 flights of stairs, 2,500steps, and 80 landings for visitors to climb.

Edge Building sightseeing platform

Edge Building sightseeing platform is a new landmark in New York, with a 1131-foot platform over 100 floors, the elevator reaches the observation deck in 52 seconds, and the 278-square-meter glass curtain wall of the aerial observation deck is divided into 79 pieces of borderless glass pieces, the New York skyline, experience a unique view.

Day 4: New York - Philadelphia - Washington DC (167 miles)

Today, we will drive to Philadelphia. We will begin our tour by taking a visit to the University of Pennsylvania. One-hour will be arranged to learn about the history and achievements of this famous school. The rest of the three hours will be used to visit the Penn Museum which contains rich collections and then we will dine in the campus cafeteria. Enjoy your leisure time at the University of Pennsylvania! Following, we will head to one of the National Historic Sites of the U.S. - Independence National Historical Park and have a look at the Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell which symbolizes freedom. Finally, we will leave Philadelphia for Baltimore to visit the famous Johns Hopkins University.

Day 5: Baltimore - Princeton - Cambridge (357 miles)

In the morning, we will first head to the Baltimore Inner Harbor, one of the world's famous seaports and one of the most popular tourist attractions of Baltimore. Next, we will drive to Princeton University, one of the 14 founding institutions of the AAU and a member of the Ivy League. Finally, we will drive to Cambridge.

Today, we will first head to Boston Harbor to admire the wonderful skyline from a unique perspective. There will be a chance to take many amazing pictures here! Then we'll head to the New England Aquarium. You can see the lively sea creatures swimming just alongside you! After that, we will take a visit to the famous MIT, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Finally, we will drive to Yale University, also a member of the Ivy League. Yale University is one of the most influential private universities in the United States and the third university established in American history.

Day 8: New Haven - Woodbury - West Point - New York (164 miles)

Today will be the end of our 8-day trip! We will first go to Woodbury Common Premium Outlets to enjoy the fun of shopping and dining. In the afternoon, we will drive to the United States Army Academy, also known as West Point. We will then drive back to New York after the tour.

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .

Up to 46 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
21-45 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
9-20 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
1-8 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your account. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds 30 days after completion of the tour.

We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
In case of attraction closures (due to holidays or construction, etc.), tour guide may make some necessary changes to the itinerary accordingly.
Itineraries are subject to change due to the weather, transportation and other conditions, in order to provide the best experience for you.
Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers. We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.

The tour was organized in an excellent manner. It was better than I expected before. Thanks goes to Cecilia and the driver. Indeed my hotels were very good‚ the tour planning was excellent. Tour Hotels were a little far from city, but very good. There time management in Niagara was very good. Our tour guide was so smart and caring... she managed to make us travel first in the "Maid of the Mist" tour, which was very difficult. It was my life time memory. The tour planning was excellent. Tour hotel were little far from city, but very good. There time management in Niagara was very good, I would like to recommend it to everyone
