started our tour on 09/08/17 with Sophia as our guide and Pablo as our driver. Sophia & Pablo were fantastic. Saw so many sights, it was mind boggling. we were 4 adults sharing a room and there was plenty of space for us and our luggage :).
accommodation was first class, bus comfy with plenty of rest breaks.
Would definitely tour again.
This tour is highly recommended. Thank you to Karen and our driver Allen. For me 2 to 3 hrs driving is not bad, the only that make me disappointed is the time, it's too short not enough to see the major attraction. We had a great time.
We had just our tour from July 18-26,2017 Our tour guide was Karen Li and our bus driver was Bratley. These two people had a great tandem. They were precise in giving instructions very specific, service oriented, caring and friendly. Bratley has Avery nice voice , has a good music that fits on our travel where we were, we even had our wake up call if we're nearby our stop overs. Karen Li was so career oriented on how she explains and discussed things, even though she had accidentally fell and had sprain and swollen on her foot not even heard a single complaint. She managed it. We had so much fun and had a great time with these two people. we even met new friends and family on this tour. Thank you so much with this great experience. Without Karen Li and Bratley this tour wouldn't be the best...
Overall it was a fabulous and fruitful trip all because we have a caring tour guide, Patrick and bus driver.
We managed to achieve all the itineraries as mentioned in the programs. We are glad everything went pretty well. Our tour bus was always the leading bus out of 4 tour buses. Thank you to our driver for his excellent driving skills as well as Patrick for professionalism in managing 54 passengers with multi-cultural and races.
Just wanted to say thank you to Karen Q (the tour guide) and Allen (the driver).
Allen worked very hard. He was very prompt in getting our luggage in and out of the bus. With 54 people on the bus, it was amazing that we never had to wait long. THANH YOU Allen !
Karen Q has the personality of a good tour guide. She always patient and was very friendly. She also very prompt in responding to our text messages. Good job, Karen!
In regards to the tour itinerary, we should cut down on the number of river cruises and the tower visits.
My first time un bus tour for 9 days 8 nights, US Canada, East Coast start from New York. The first two days were a bit hectic for me. The third day, after we got assigned to a bus, 5609, everything changed, much better, more organized, more informed, by Kawa, tour guide, and Rodley, driver. Many thanks to both for making the trip so smooth, safe and lot of fun.
Kevin Mu is a great tour guide. He spoke Chinese and English to keep everyone informed. He is also a very experienced tour guide. This tour has covered a lot of attractions. I had a great time, thank you!
This tour was actually run by L&L Tours. The second day was a bit confused since we have been asked to pack up our luggage in the morning. We were sent back to the same hotel at night. Everything got better from day3. We had the same tour guide - Carlton and driver - Martin. They were great. Carlton spoke three different language - Cantonese, Mandarin and English to keep everyone inform. He is also a very experience tour guide. Martin has very good driving skill. This tour has covered a lot of attractions. My husband and I had a great time. thank you
This was my first tour with Taketours and I was satisfied with my expectations.
1) Tour covers a lot of destination as mentioned in the iterinary trip on website.
2) Bus was AC and Hotels were really nice.
3) Bus stops at downtown areas and gives around <1 hour for walking tour. Best part is we dont need to worry for parking, driving.
4) Guide gives restroom break at every 2 to 3 hours.
5) Good Communication about every day plan.
Note, in this tour,
1) Tour starts mostly 7 AM every day and comes to hotel at evening after 8.30 or 9 PM so not much time to rest in the hotel.
2) Tour covers attraction which has full price ticket but it gives only about 1.5 to 2 Hour max to see which may not be enough for everyone for every attraction
3) Make sure to see customer review of all attraction before you go on this tour so you dont get disappointed. (All are optional)
Overall i was satisfied
This is my second trip with Gotobus and I find their tour value for money. On this trip, our tour leader is Carlton. We find him very knowledgeable. Though alot of time is spend travelling on the road, Carlton would constantly feed us with info on the historical background of all the places we would visit. Overall we thoroughly enjoy the trip, especially Washington DC and Niagara Falls. The hind side to the tour is that part of the trip in Canada takes up alot of travelling. Imagine travelling for 4 hours to a destination and spend 2 hours sightseeing and then travel another 4 hours to the next hotel. It is quite tiring. It will be good if more time can be allocated for sight seeing. Perhaps make it a 12 or 14 day trip would be ideal.
This is our first tour to the East Coast. Charlene is our USA tour guide and Andy was Canada tour guide. They were both very informative and helpful whatever we asked. With a 9 day trip to US and Canada, this is very long trip and they did their best to accommodate a whole group of tourists. They were very patient and caring to each family. Also the drivers drove so smoothly and safely. They were so helpful with us. The trip was well worth it. Just sit tight, relax and enjoy the scenery. Take lots of pictures. Nine day trip went so quickly. We made friends on the way. Everyone was so happy to see breathtaking views, so green scenery, wonderful museums, exciting cruises, and had delicious lunch together with other tourist families. After all this is a vacation why make it difficult for everyone. The last day of the trip was so sad. We waved goodbye to the friends. We took the trip in July so it was so warm and humid so prepare to bring lots of water bottles, a good pair of shoes, comfortable clothes, sun glasses and hat. One of the most expenses that we spent was buying water. To my family, we didn't have enough time at Quebec City. The city is so beautiful. It has a lot of charming houses, arts stores, cobble stones and historic towns and we had to hurry back to the group luncheon so we missed a lot of places and didn't enough time to buy the postcard from Quebec. It's one of the hobbies I do is collect postcards from all the places that I visit. I feel really bad because I don't know when I will come back. Besides that, other places were short of time too, but it's ok since we didn't really miss much. Notice: Make sure you have enough cash to pay for the admission fees and service fees. All the activities are optional so if you don't want to join, you can walk around the city, but you will miss a lot of things.
The first day was so bothersome. Most of the tourists didn't know which bus/seats to go to so the tourists were all over and asked the guides. There was no line so everyone was kind of pushes his/her way to find out the answer. That was awful. Maybe, there should be a sign "Line Here". Another thing that we like is every day we were all rotated the seating chart so everyone has a chance to sit in the front. No one complained.
