Itinerary

Day 1:Shanghai, CN - Hangzhou, CN(329 km)

In the morning, guests will be picked up from their hotels in Shanghai to begin this tour. Today, we will explore the city of Hang Zhou, once described by Marco Polo as "the finest and the noblest in the world." When we arrive after a 3 hour drive from Shanghai, we will first take a cruise on the West Lake, during which we will be able to see incredible scenery, which includes the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, the Bai and Su Causeways, and Solitary Hill. After lunch, we will visit Guo's Villa, where we will see the best preserved traditional garden in the city. We will also visit the Meijiawu Tea Plantation to learn about the history of Chinese tea and also the tea ceremony. Before returning to Shanghai, we will stop along the Qiantang River to overlook the Six Harmonies Pagoda. The tour will end when we return to Shanghai.
