Itinerary

Day 1:Hilo

After arrival at Hilo International Airport, we will meet the tour guide who will wear a lavender purple color shirt. Then drive to the hotel.
Domestic Flight: Tour guide will meet you at the Baggage Claim Area of your flight.
International Flight: The tour guide will meet you at the individual exit.

Day 2:Hilo

Picked up at the hotel from Hilo, and the first stop will be the Richardson Black Sand Beach at the foot of the volcano, then proceed to the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, the volcano museum, and the park's unique geographic features such as the craters, the Lava tube, and the steaming vents of the volcanoes.
Note: If the Volcanoes National Park is closed, the volcano itinerary will make the following adjustments:
Visit the place called "Pahoa Town Lava Land". During the excursion of the Kilauea Volcano, which formed a nascent lava field, is now the youngest magma field that can be watched from a close distance. Afterward, Kaumana Cave is a huge natural magma cave formed when the Mauna Loa Volcano erupted. It will be visited near the entrance of the cave (not in the cave), and then will go to the famous Biscuit Factory and taste some of the hand-made flavored cookies for free.

    Volcanoes National Park showcases Hawaii's interesting geological history. Near the town of Hilo, Mt. Kilauea, and the Thurston Lava Tube, the park boasts an incredible, dynamic landscape that is often reshaped by local volcanic activity.
  • Akatsuka Orchid Gardens
    The Akatsuka Orchid Gardens on the Big Island of Hawaii are a greenhouse, nursery, and botanical garden that is open to the public for free. There are more than 500 blooming orchids on display for visitors to the complex.
  • Rainbow Falls
    This impressive waterfall near downtown Hilo, Hawaii is eighty feet tall and almost a hundred feet in diameter. Its ease of access and lack of admission fee make it a popular sight to see for visitors to Hilo.

    The Nani Mau Gardens in Hilo, Hawaii are commercial botanical gardens established by Makato Nitahara in 1972. The gardens contain more than two thousand plants as well as a botanical museums focused on history and conservation efforts.

  • Macadamia Nut Farm
    The macadamia nut, although native to Australia, thrives on Hawaii. Many farms and factories offer tours of their facilities that take visitors throw the cultivation process and offer tasty Hawaiian treats.

Day 3:Big Island (Hilo) Akaka Falls One Day Tour

Today we will take a 30-minute hike to the Kalapana lava field of 1985, then we will drive up the east coast of the Big Island to see the views along the way, and to Puhoiki to see the black sand beaches formed during the latest volcanic eruption in 2018. Then we will get back to Hilo for lunch. In the afternoon we will go to the Akaka Falls on the north shore of the Big Island. Stop at the farmer's market for fresh papayas and other tropical seasonal fruits.

    Kalapana Black Sand Beach is a volcanic beach that is also an actively erupting area. The Kalapana Lava Viewing Area allows visitors to see the volcano's activity from a safe distance and watch smoke billow up from the water.
  • Akaka Falls State Park
    'Akaka Falls State Park is one of the many parks on the Island of Hawaii, just outside the city of Hilo. The park is named for the ʻAkaka Falls, a 422-foot-tall waterfall on Kolekole Stream in an eroded gorge.

Day 4:Hilo, HI

Picked up from hotel, drive all the way to the south part of the island, and all the way through the forest to the south point. This is the first place where Hawaii first landed before 1600 years ago, and it is also the southernmost territory of the United States. It is still the most popular cliff dive site on the Big Island. The road is magnificent and atmospheric. Through the vast landforms of the Eastern African savannah, you will experience the thrilling scenes of the Lion King's cartoon movie. Then drive to the green beach. Transfer to the local people's booster bus, pass the bumpy mud road, and finally arrive at the destination to admire the world-famous, Hawaii's unique green beach. The end of the trip will be end at the Hilo hotel.

    Green sand beach is officially known as Papakolea. The beach itself is carved in a 49.000 years old cinder cone belonging to the Mauna Loa volcano that contains the green crystals (olivines) that give the beach its name. It's one of the once in a lifetime places to visit on the Big Island.

Check out Hilo hotel and transfer to Hilo airport.

  • Return Flight: Please book the return flight between 8 am to 8 pm. The earliest pickup time will be 8 am, it would be better to arrange your flight to be departed after 10 am.
