Join a small group and a friendly guide for a scenic drive through the Cascade Mountains, passing evergreen forests, sparkling lakes, and historic towns. Stop at stunning viewpoints and waterfalls for breathtaking photos. Enjoy free time to explore the park’s trails, wildlife, and visitor center at your own pace.

Tour Highlights:
Hike and walk a little or not at all, there are options for all abilities.
Enjoy lunch at a Mount Rainier cafe or buy a picnic lunch along the way.
Visit the interpretive center at Paradise to learn even more about the mountain’s glaciers, plants, and animals.
Depending on the weather and road condition we will take the more scenic and safest roads to reach the foothill of Mount Rainier.

  • Mount Rainier National Park, WA
    Mount Rainier National Park is named for Mount Rainier itself, the tallest peak in the United States and an active volcano predicted to massively erupt sometime in the next decade. Still, more than a million people visit its slopes each year.
  • Paradise Visitor Center
    Paradise is famous for its glorious views and wildflower meadows. When James Longmire's daughter-in-law, Martha, first saw this site, she exclaimed, "Oh, what a paradise!" The park's main visitor center, the Henry M. Jackson Memorial Visitor Center, is located in the upper parking area. Paradise is also the primary winter-use area in the park, receiving on average 643 inches (53.6 feet/16.3 meters) of snow a year.

We have some snacks for you but you could bring your preference snacks and drinks with you. From mid October to April, there are limited food services available in the park on weekdays. We will stop at a place where you can buy food on the way.
