Itinerary
Day 1:Lima International Airport arrival
After arrival at the Lima International Airport (LIM), we will be transferred to our hotel.
At around 2 PM, your guide will pick you up from your hotel to begin a tour of Lima's historic center. First, visit the Aliaga House, a colonial-era mansion with over 500 years of history. Then, explore the Plaza Mayor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Lima Cathedral. Finally, head to the Larco Museum in the Pueblo Libre district, home to pre-Columbian artifacts and over 5,000 years of ancient Peruvian history.

Day 2:Lima - Cusco (book the earliest flight on your own )(582 km)
You will be transferred from your hotel to Lima Airport to take a flight to Cusco. Upon arrival in Cusco, you will be escorted to your selected hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a tour of the enchanting and magical city of Cusco, once the capital of the Inca Empire.
First, visit the Santo Domingo Convent, located within the Coricancha Temple. Next, head to the Cathedral of Santo Domingo, the main church of Cusco. Then, explore the ruins of the Sacsayhuaman Fortress in the hills of Cusco, followed by a visit to the Qenqo Archaeological Site. After that, stroll through the Puca Pucara Military Complex and the Tambomachay Ruins, known as the Inca Baths. Finally, return to your hotel.
Note: It is recommended that you book the earliest flight from Lima to Cusco, arrival no later than 10:30am.

QenkoAn archaeological site in the Sacred Valley of Peru located in the Cusco Region. The site was declared a Cultural Heritage of the Cusco Region by the National Institute of Culture. It is one of the largest huacas (holy places) in the Cusco Region. Many huacas were based on naturally occurring rock formations. It was believed to be a place where sacrifices and mummification took place.

Puka PukaraIn the ancient Quechan language, the name of this set of ruins near Cuzco mean "the red fortress." It features large, terraced walls that sit on a hill overlooking the surrounding valley.

TambomachayOne of the many archaeological sites located in and around the city of Cuzco, the exact purpose of this facility is still uncertain. It is comprised of a series of aqueducts, canals, and waterfalls that cut through terraced rocks.
Day 3:Cusco, Peru - Chinchero, Peru - Ollantaytambo, Peru - Sacred Valley, Peru(103 km)
Head to the picturesque town of Chinchero. First, explore the stunning agricultural terraces and the 17th-century church, built atop an ancient Inca palace and regarded as one of Peru's earliest Catholic structures. Along the way, stop at a scenic viewpoint to admire the breathtaking views of the Sacred Valley. Next, visit the Living Museum of Yucay, where you can observe textiles, adobe crafts, pottery, and silverware made using ancient Inca techniques. After enjoying a delicious local lunch in the Sacred Valley, proceed to the impressive Ollantaytambo Fortress, a significant ceremonial center famous for its spectacular agricultural terraces cascading down the hillside. Conclude the day by heading to your hotel to rest and rejuvenate, embracing the renewed spirit of the Inca culture.

Chinchero, PeruThe small rustic town of Chinchero lies off the main road between Cusco and Urubamba. It sits at 3762m above sea level. It is towered over by the Vilcabamba range and the snowcapped peak of Salcantay. There is a great display of Inca architecture, ruins and megalithic carved rocks. Chinchero is home to the famous Peruvian weaving and also has a colouful market. Chinchero is also believed to be the birthplace of the rainbow.

Ollantaytambo, PeruThis small town north of Cuzco is built around an archaeological site. At the height off the Inca Empire, Ollantaytambo was the royal estate of Emperor Pachacuti. It is one of the starting points of the Inca Trail.

Sacred Valley, PeruThe heart of the Inca Empire, the Sacred Valley of the Incas is the region of Peru surrounding the city of Cusco. The valley is full of the ruins of this once-powerful empire, such as Ollantaytambo, Pisac and Tipon.
Day 4:Sacred Valley, Peru - Aguas Calientes, Peru - Machu Picchu, Peru - Cusco, Peru(270 km)
Wake up to breakfast at the hotel then transfer to the Ollanta station to begin your trip to Machu Picchu. Enjoy the approximately 1.5-hour scenic train ride to Aguas Calientes, also known as "Machu Picchu Pueblo", the last stop before entering the most important archaeological site in Peru. In Aguas Calientes, you'll find a craft market, restaurants, and, for those who prefer to spend the night at the foot of the mountain and climb early in the morning, hotels for all budgets. Take a short bus ride up to Machu Picchu, the architectural and engineering masterpiece that once served as a sanctuary and refuge for the Inca ruler Pachacútec. Machu Picchu, which means "Old Mountain", is a UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site and one of the seven new wonders of the world. Return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and then back to Cusco.

Aguas Calientes, PeruThis town sits 20 minutes down the mountain from Machu Picchu. Its name, "hot waters" in English, derives from the presence of numerous thermal springs in the area that make thisvillage a great place to relax after a hike.

Machu Picchu, PeruThe famous citadel of the Inca sits atop a scraggy mountain peak overlooking the valley that was sacred to those people. These ruins feature many temples and the famous terraced-gardens the Inca developed for agriculture in the Andes.
Day 5:Cusco - Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountain) - Cusco
You are picked up from the hotel early in the morning, at approximately 4 am and transferred to Cusipata, where the hike begins. The trek is surrounded by beautiful sceneries of the Andes and guarded by the majestic Ausangate Mountain, one of the most important mountains of Cusco, considered a sacred entity since the times of the Incas. Once you reach the viewpoint of the 7-Colour Mountain, appreciate the surroundings from up high. After a few minutes, start descending to Cusipata, where your transfer is waiting for you to return to Cusco. On the way you will stop to savor a lunch. Arrival at the hotel in Cusco at approximately 4 pm. Rest of afternoon at leisure.

- The current restrictions on visits to Machu Picchu allow a maximum stay of 4 hours in the citadel (2 hours and a half accompanied by a guide).
- To help preserve the Machu Picchu Historical Sanctuary and maintain its World Heritage status, the Ministry of Culture has designated various visitor circuits. The specific circuit and schedule will be assigned based on availability at the time your reservation is confirmed.
- The following objects are forbidden: professional cameras that require lights and tripods, or with telephoto lenses heavier than 2 kilos (in order to use them, special authorization is needed, as well as the payment of an additional fee), drones, selfie sticks, sprays, high heels, walking sticks without rubber tip, banners and posters, sharp objects and backpacks bigger than 40cm x 35 cm x 20 cm
INSTRUCTIONS
- Carry the same document that you presented to the agency, given that the train tickets and entrance to Machu Picchu will be issued with the same information
- In all train services to Machu Picchu, the passenger can carry only hand luggage (backpack, bag, or briefcase) weighing no more than 5kg / 11lb on the train to/from Machu Picchu. You will find your luggage at the chosen hotel. Allowed size: 62 linear inches 157cm (height + length + width)
What do I need to bring? Comfortable and light clothing is recommended for visiting the coastal areas of Peru, while for the high Andean area; use of warm clothing is ALSO recommended. It is not recommended that visitors wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or short clothes when visiting religious temples or official buildings. Sunscreen, sunglasses, hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
