Day 1:New York - Washington D.C(225 miles)

Departing from New York in the morning, we will drive to Washington D.C. for the charming cherry blossom. First, we will visit Thomas Jefferson Memorial. The memorial is located by the Tidal Basin, from where you will have a stunning view of the Cherry Blossom blooming along the shore. Later you can take Cherry Blossom in-depth tour to view more.

Special Note: The National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, DC is scheduled from March 20 to April 12. However, the view of the cherry blossom vary due to weather conditions.

  • National Cherry Blossom Festival
    In 1912, Mayor Yukio Ozaki of Tokyo City gave the United States a gift of Japanese cherry trees. Every year since, people have gathered to watch them burst into a magnificent pink and white blooms.
  • Jefferson Memorial
    The Thomas Jefferson Memorial is a memorial to the third president of the United States. The impressive building is neoclassical in design and has been standing since 1943. It sees more than two million visitors every year. It's only available during the Cherry Blossom time.

  • D.C. Cherry Blossom In-depth Tour
    Tour will be taken place in East Potomac Park. Walk along the 4.4-mile Hains Point Loop Trail, enjoying different species of cherry trees unlike anywhere else in the park. Stroll among the blossoms while taking in spectacular views of the Potomac River, Anacostia River, and the Washington Channel.

    • East Potomac Park
      East Potomac Park is a park located on a man-made island in the Potomac River in Washington, D.C. The park lies southeast of the Jefferson Memorial and the 14th Street Bridge, and the park lies between the Washington Channel and the Potomac River.

Day 2:Washington DC - New York(216 miles)

Depart from hotel in the morning, we will first visit the Washington D.C. Temple, and feel its grandeur. Then we will go to the Smithsonian National Zoological Park, one of the oldest zoos in the United States. We can watch lovely and diverse animals, and also to choose to walk around. The scenery is very beautiful, which is a highlight of the trip along the way! Finally, we will go to the Old Town Alexandria. The solemn and solemn atmosphere of the old city is quite different from that of Washington, D.C. In the old city, you can enjoy sunshine, color, street music, food from various countries, and feel the leisurely life of the old city.

  • Washington D.C. Temple (Outside Visit)
