Itinerary

Day 1:Madrid, Spain - Merida, Spain - Seville, Spain(471 km)

At 7:30am, we will depart from Madrid and travel to the region of Extremadura, arriving in Merida. We will take some free time to explore its extraordinary archaeological complex, featuring the Roman Theatre and Amphitheatre, both declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Guests will get lunch on their own before we continue to Sevilla in the Andalusia region. We will enjoy dinner in a local restaurant before checking into our hotel for the night.

    Merida is a destination that brings the old Roman Empire back to life. This World Heritage City boasts a Roman theatre which is over 2,000 years old and is still in use.

Day 2:Sevilla morning city sightseeing tour - late afternoon catch the train AVE back to Madrid(390 km)

In the morning city sightseeing tour, including Maria Luisa Park, Plaza de Espana, the exterior of the city's stunning Cathedral and its bell tower, called Giralda and the typical neighborhood of Santa Cruz with its streets, squares and narrow alleys. If you wish, you can optionally navigate the Guadalquivir river, during which you will enjoy a panoramic view of the Gold Tower and Expo 92, or visit to the Maestranza bullring. End of our services. In the late afternoon transfer on your own to the train station to catch the train AVE back to Madrid.

    On the riverbanks of Sevilla, Maria Luisa Park is a large public area that features lovely foliage, fountains, and walkways in the middle of this beautiful city. Within the park are many statues of famous Spanish figures.
  • Plaza de Espana
    A large section of Maria Luisa Park in Sevilla, the Plaza de Espana is a large open space featuring buildings of Renaissance revival architecture. Most of the buildings are currently used for government purposes.
  • Santa Cruz (Jewish Quarter)
    The barrio of Santa Cruz in Sevilla was once the city's Jewish Quarter, and is now the most popular tourist are in the city. The narrow, winding streets and alleyways of this neighborhood remind visitors of a labyrinth.
  • La Giralda (Outside Visit)
    La Giralda was once a minaret for the Muslim population in medieval Sevilla, but was converted to a church bell tower after Christian forces had regained power in Iberia. Its design has influenced many other towers around the world.

    Madrid is both the capital of Spain and its largest city. A modern city with a historic architecture where you can visit the Royal Palace, Prado Museum, Bernabeu Stadium, Fountain of Cibeles and more.

Additional Notes

Language: all the tour guides are bilingual, English and Spanish. If it happens that there are only English speaking clients on the tour, the tour will only run in English.
Luggage: Due to coach capacity limitations, each passenger is allowed one suitcase (maximum 20 kg) and one carry-on bag.
A minimum of 12 passengers is required for the package tour to operate. In exceptional cases where the minimum number of participants is not met, and in order to maintain our commitment to guaranteed departures, tours may operate without an accompanying guide, relying instead on an expert driver knowledgeable about the routes. If the required number of participants is not met, the trip will be automatically cancelled, and the traveller will be notified in writing at least 20 days before the scheduled departure date. In such cases, no compensation will be provided.
Occasionally, due to operational reasons, the panoramic city tour of Madrid may be conducted using the city’s Hop-on Hop-off bus service
The guided tours and activities mentioned in the itinerary will be conducted by local official guides in the respective cities, as originally planned.
