Itinerary

Day 1:Cusco

Upon arrival at Cusco airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, join a guided city tour of Cusco. The tour includes an exterior view of the city from San Cristobal Plaza, a visit to San Pedro Market to sample local products, and visits to the Korikancha Temple (Temple of the Sun) and Santo Domingo Church. Walk through the San Blas artisan neighborhood and Hatun Rumiyoc Street, passing by the Inca Roca Palace (now the Archbishop's Palace) and the famous Twelve Angle Stone. Continue to the Main Square and visit the Cusco Cathedral, a masterpiece of colonial architecture. Overnight in Cusco.

    Cusco Main Square is the historic heart of the city, surrounded by the Cathedral and the Church of the Society of Jesus, bustling with activity.
  • Cuzco Cathedral
    This cathedral, also called the Basilica of the Assumption of the Virgin, was completed in 1654, and is located in the Plaza de Armas. It contains many historically significant objects and relics.

Day 2:Cusco - Machu Picchu - Cusco(149 km)

Take the train to Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, a guide will assist you with the bus ride up to the Machu Picchu archaeological site. Enjoy a guided tour of the citadel, including the terraces, ceremonial areas, and residential sectors. After the guided tour, you will have free time to explore on your own. Take the bus back down to the town for lunch. In the afternoon, return by train to Cusco and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Cusco.
