Itinerary

Day 1:Cusco - Cusipata - Rainbow Mountain - Cusco(378 km)

Hotel: Deluxe: Xima Hotel Cusco, Jose Antonio Cusco or similar

Pickup from hotel in Cusco at 03:00. Drive to Cusipata community for breakfast. Continue to Llaqtoq community and begin a 2-hour hike (5 km) to Rainbow Mountain (Cerro Vinincunca) from an altitude of 4,500 m to 5,033 m. Enjoy the scenery, views of changing colors of mountains and streams, and spot llamas and alpacas. Spend time at the summit for photos. Descend to Pitumarca for a lunch box. Drive back to Cusco, arriving around 18:30. Overnight in Cusco.
