Begin your adventure with convenient pickup directly from your Las Vegas hotel.

Enjoy a scenic drive through the Nevada desert as you make your way to one of America's greatest engineering achievements, Hoover Dam.

Hoover Dam Guided Walk: Join your MaxTour guide for a walk across the top of Hoover Dam while learning about its fascinating history, construction, and impact on the American Southwest.

Power Plant Tour: Go below the surface of Hoover Dam on a guided tour led by Hoover Dam staff. Explore the power plant and learn how this massive structure generates electricity for millions of people across the region.

Hoover Dam Visitor Center: Enjoy time to explore exhibits, learn more about the dam's history and construction, and browse the gift shop.

Mike O'Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge: Walk out onto the second-highest bridge in the United States for spectacular panoramic views of Hoover Dam, Black Canyon, and Lake Mead.

If time permits, your guide may introduce you to a few favorite bonus stops and hidden viewpoints in the surrounding area.

Relax on the return drive to Las Vegas, with drop-off back at your hotel between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM, traffic and weather permitting.

    Las Vegas is known as the "Entertainment Capital of the World" for a good reason-- casinos and hotels line its streets, and visitors can gamble, see shows, and shop at virtually any hour of the day or night.
  • Hoover Dam
    The beautiful Hoover Dam is located 30 miles southeast of Las Vegas in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River. The massive concrete dam was a monumental undertaking built during the Great Depression and dedicated by Franklin Roosevelt himself.

Departure & Return

  • Pick-ups are from 7:15-8:00 AM and drop-offs are usually from 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM, depending on the conditions on the day of the tour.
  • As long as you're staying at a hotel within 2 miles of the Las Vegas Strip and Downtown Las Vegas, you'll be picked up and dropped off directly at your hotel. We'll email you the day before your tour to confirm your exact pickup time and location.
