Depart from Busan for the ancient capital Gyeongju. Visit the UNESCO-listed Bulguksa Temple, renowned for its stone carvings and elegant architecture, then ascend to Seokguram Grotto to admire the serene Buddha statue facing the East Sea, known as the "Smile of Silla." Explore the Daereungwon Tomb Complex, a burial site of Silla royalty. As night falls, enjoy the illuminated beauty of Anapji Pond and Cheomseongdae under soft lighting. Finally, return to Busan by van, concluding a day rich in history and culture.
  • Gyeongju, Korea, Republic of
    Gyeongju was the capital of the ancient kingdom of Silla (57 BC – 935 AD), which ruled about two-thirds of the Korean Peninsula at its height between the 7th and 9th centuries. A vast number of archaeological sites and cultural properties from this period remain in the city.
  • Bulguksa Temple
    A head temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism classified as Historic and Scenic Site No. 1 by the South Korean government.In 1995, Bulguksa was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List together with the Seokguram Grotto, which lies four kilometers to the east.
  • Cheonmachong Tomb
    Daereungwon Tomb Complex, also known as Cheonmachong Tomb, is a burial site located in Gyeongju, South Korea. It dates to the Silla Kingdom, which ruled the Korean Peninsula from 57 BC to 935 AD and is believed to be the burial site of a Silla King or nobleman. The tomb is famous for the discovery of a wooden horse and various other artifacts, which have provided valuable insights into the culture and society of the Silla Kingdom.

    • Cheomseongdae
      The oldest surviving astronomical observatory in East Asia (built 634 AD), located in Gyeongju. This unique bottle-shaped structure reflects Silla's advanced science.

In accordance with local standards, you may tip your guide or driver based on the quality of their service. Standard tip amount is US$8 / person or local Korean Currency ₩10,000 / person. Please pay tips to your guide or driver on the day of your tour, to express your respect and gratitude for their work.

Additional Notes

This tour requires you to bring a photo ID, such as a foreign passport with a Korean visa.
If there are discrepancies between any time stated in the itinerary and the time given by your guide or driver, please meet at the time your guide or driver has informed you of.
Minors under the age of 19 are required to be always accompanied by at least one adult or to submit a disclaimer signed by their guardian.
According to the Law of South Korea, children under the age of 6 must use Child Safety Seat. If a child seat is required for this itinerary, please inform us in advance.
Please be aware, if you are not able to meet your guide or driver at the appointed time and place due to personal reasons (including but not limited to illness, accidents, running late, etc.), and thus miss the chance to board the bus and cannot participate in the tour, we are afraid we cannot refund your fee for that day.
If, due to unpreventable circumstances (including but not limited to: natural disasters, political and social situations, accidents and malfunctions, road closures, etc.), adjustments must be made to the tour in order to protect the safety and welfare of all guests in the tour group, our company reserves the right to take measures including changing the time or content of the tour or even canceling some or all tour activities. The related tour fees cannot be refunded, and any additional costs incurred (i.e., extended hotel stay, transportation, meals, plane ticket changes) must be borne by the guests.
