Itinerary

Day 1:Fairbanks, AK - Coldfoot, AK(360 miles)

Check-in at 11:30 at the meeting point. Take a small scenic flight (approx. 1.5 hours) to Coldfoot. After a brief stop, board an Arctic bus and travel along the Dalton Highway back to Fairbanks. En route, visit the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, the Yukon River, and cross the Arctic Circle (66°33'N) to receive an official Arctic Circle Expedition Certificate. Estimated return at 02:00-03:00 the next day.
  • Fairbanks, AK
    A home rule city and the borough seat of the Fairbanks North Star Borough in the U.S. state of Alaska.
  • Alaska Pipeline
    One of the world's largest pipeline systems built between 1974 and 1977 after the 1973 oil crisis caused a sharp rise in oil prices in the United States.
  • Dalton Highway
    A 414-mile (666 km) road in Alaska built as a supply road to support the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System in 1974. It is also the subject of the second episode of America's Toughest Jobs and the first episode of the BBC's World's Most Dangerous Roads.
  • Yukon River
    The Yukon River, which is one of the major rivers in North America, runs across Alaska and is injected into the Bering Sea. The whole basin is around 850,000 square kilometers, and is more famous for its natural resources (forests, gold and silver mines).
  • Arctic Circle Sign
    The Arctic Circle Sign at 66°33′N marks the symbolic entrance to the Arctic. Visitors often take photos here and experience natural wonders like the midnight sun and polar night.
  • Coldfoot, AK
    Coldfoot is a census-designated place (CDP) in Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area in the U.S. state of Alaska.

Guests are not allowed to stay in the middle of Dalton Hwy road, which will cause any safety accidents. Or they need to take responsibility for this.
The Arctic circle is conventionally configured as Thomas Arctic bus. When the number of people traveling on the day is less than 8, we will arrange other vehicles instead.
Passport/Visa: Please take along with your own valid documents with your own photo, such as: passport, visa, U.S. resident id card, U.S. driver's license, etc.
Guests those under 18 years old should be accompanied by at least one adult throughout the tour or submit a disclaimer signed by their guardian.
