Itinerary
Day 1:Las Vegas, NV - Chloride, AZ - Oatman, AZ(102 miles)
Our tour will depart from Sin City for a short drive to the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead, a beautiful man-made reservoir that is contained within the Black Canyon.
Next we will head to the abandoned mining town of Chloride, AZ. Browse the antique shops and chat with the locals before you enjoy lunch. Admire many artistic sculptures of this joyful artist's community. Our next stop will take us for a drive along the iconic Route 66 highway to the small ghost town of Oatman, AZ. We will drink in the local saloon before we make our way back through the Mojave Desert along the Veterans Memorial Highway to Las Vegas, where we will conclude our tour.

Hoover DamThe beautiful Hoover Dam is located 30 miles southeast of Las Vegas in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River. The massive concrete dam was a monumental undertaking built during the Great Depression and dedicated by Franklin Roosevelt himself.

Chloride, AZThe little community has survived the harsh desert environment since the 1860s. Silver and other minerals were mined here for decades. After the mining boom was over, Chloride nearly became a ghost town itself. Today Chloride is home to about 250 residents who are still very proud of their mining history.

Oatman, AZOatman is a gold mining town that was once abandoned and turned into a ghost town. Now it is thriving again, with many small shops where you can sit and enjoy traditional American food and buy souvenirs.
Departure & Return
- Complimentary hotel pick up and drop off at all Las Vegas hotels within 3-mile of the strip. Please enter your hotel name and address in "Hotel Pick-up Info" box upon check out. Exact pick up time varies between 7:30 am to 8:30 am.
