Itinerary

Day 1:Pearl Harbor, HI - Honolulu, HI(7 miles)

In the early morning, we'll head toward Pearl Harbor. Here you'll explore the Pacific Historic Parks Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. By doing so, you'll learn about events before, during and after the devastating attack. Tragically, more than 2,400 American sailors, soldiers, marines and civilians perished that day.
Next we'll take a shuttle boat to the USS Arizona Memorial. This is where visitors from around the world pause to reflect while gazing at the ruins of this battleship.
Later we'll board the nearby USS Missouri, which stands watch over its sunken sister ship. Here you'll learn about "Mighty Mo's" wartime history. This includes serving as the site where Imperial Japan formally surrendered to the Allies in Tokyo Bay. As you explore this ship, you'll see a signed copy of the surrender document that ended the war.
Upon leaving Pearl Harbor, your guide will take you through downtown Honolulu. As you do so, you'll learn about Hawaii's history as a monarchy, a territory and eventually America's 50th state.

  • USS Arizona Memorial
    This memorial in Honolulu, Hawaii serves as a remembrance of the American soldier killed in the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. The ship marks the resting place of over one thousand of the dead.
  • USS Missouri Memorial
    Also known as "Mighty Mo," this US Naval battleship is significant for being the place where the surrender of Japan to the United States was finalized during World War II. It is now a museum ship in Hawaii.

  • Passengers will be picked-up from their hotel approximately 6:30am-6:50am or 7:30am-7:50am, depending on the hotel location. Exact pick-up time will be provided upon reconfirmation 24 hours prior to tour.

Additional Notes

Dress comfortably, but keep in mind that shirt and shoes are required on the memorial and that swimsuits are not permitted.
Security restrictions at Pearl Harbor will be enforced. Please do not bring large bags or anything that could offer concealment. If this is unavoidable, storage is available at Pearl Harbor for $6.00.
Eating a light meal before your pick-up time is recommended. Snacks and food vendors are available at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center and the Battleship Missouri on own.
On rare occasions, the Navy unexpectedly suspends shuttle operations to the USS Arizona Memorial. In such case, you will still be able to visit the many Arizona Memorial exhibits, film, visitor?s center and park monuments.
All visitors to the Battleship Missouri must show proof of full vaccination or a lab generated negative COVID-19 test result taken within the previous 48 hours, as well as valid id to enter. Children under 12 years old are exempt.
