Itinerary
Day 1:Lisbon - Caceres - Madrid(564 km)
In the morning, we will leave Lisbon as we make our way to Caceres. We will spend some time here visiting the Plaza Mayor and walk through the medieval Old Town. After lunch, we will continue to Madrid, where we will spend the night.

Caceres, SpainCaceres is the capital of Caceres province, in the autonomous community of Extremadura, Spain. The municipio has a land area of 1,750.33 km2 (675.81 sq mi), the largest geographically in Spain. The walled city has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Old TownThe Old Town of Caceres still features some of its original medieval walls. In the Middle Ages, control of the city was constantly switching between Christians and Muslims, and this struggle is exemplified by the architecture of the Old Town.
Day 2:Madrid
After breakfast, we will visit some of the most iconic sites in Madrid, including the Gran Via, Plaza de Oriente, the Fountain of Cibeles, Columbus Square, Plaza de Espana, Puerta de Alcala, Paseo de la Castellana, and more. In the late afternoon, guests can continue exploring the city on their own.

Paseo de la CastellanaLa Castellana is a wide avenue that cuts North-to-South through the very center of Madrid, one of the city's busiest streets, and home to some of its most famous buildings including the Puerta de Europa and the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.
Day 3:Madrid - Toledo - Madrid(134 km)
We will spend the first part of today touring Toledo. This city is like an immense museum, containing some of the most famous Spanish monuments. We will explore the city, observing its unique blend of Christian, Jewish, and Islamic influences. Afterwards, we will return to Madrid.

Toledo, SpainToledo is known as the "Imperial City" for having been the main venue of the court of Charles I, and as the "City of the Three Cultures", having been influenced by a historical co-existence of Christians, Muslims and Jews.
Day 4:Madrid Free Day
After breakfast, we will enjoy the day at leisure to go shopping or visit one of the city's amazing museums like the Prado Gallery or the Royal Palace. We may also take optional excursions to El Escorial, Avila, and Segovia, or experience some of the lively restaurants and bars.

Day 5:Madrid - Trujillo - Lisbon(623 km)
In the morning, we will depart for the city of Trujillo, where we will have some free time to explore and see the Plaza Mayor. Afterwards, we will cross the Portuguese border on our way to Lisbon, where the tour will come to an end. Plaza MayorThe Plaza Mayor in Trujillo is unique because of its uneven and irregular design. It is surrounded by buildings dating from around the 16th century. The Church of Santa Maria is a 13th century building that towers over the square.

During the stay in Madrid, there will not be service of Tour Escort. Tours in Madrid shall be made by regular tour.
Language: all the tour guides are bilingual, English and Spanish. If it happens that there are only English speaking clients on the tour, the tour will only run in English.
Luggage: Due to coach capacity limitations, each passenger is allowed one suitcase (maximum 20 kg) and one carry-on
bag.
A minimum of 12 passengers is required for the package tour to operate. In exceptional cases where the minimum number of participants is not met, and in order to maintain our commitment to guaranteed departures, tours may operate without an accompanying guide, relying instead on an expert driver knowledgeable about the routes. If the required number of participants is not met, the trip will be automatically cancelled, and the traveller will be notified in writing at least 20 days before the scheduled departure date. In such cases, no compensation will be provided.
Occasionally, due to operational reasons, the panoramic city tour of Madrid may be conducted using the city’s Hop-on Hop-off bus service
