Day 1:Barcelona - Zaragoza - Pamplona(398 km)

Today, we will drive to Zaragoza. Brief stop and free time to visit the Basilica de Nuestra Senora del Pilar, Patroness of the Hispanic world. Then we will continue to Pamplona, a city known for the San Fermín festivities and its charming old town.

Departure towards San Sebastian, one of the most elegant cities in northern Spain. Short panoramic tour of San Sebastian and ascent of Mount Igueldo to enjoy the beautiful views over the bay. We then continue to Bilbao, capital of the province of Biscay, with a brief stop to admire the avant-garde Guggenheim Museum building. The Journey then continues on to Santander.

Day 3:Bilbao - Santander - Santillana del Mar - Covadonga - Oviedo(189 km)

Today, we will depart for Santillana del Mar, a medieval village and National Monument. Travelling through the splendid landscapes, we will eventually arrive in Covadonga, where we will take time to visit the local shrine. Later, we will continue to Oviedo, where we will eat dinner and check into our hotel for the night.

    This cave and shrine, nestled between the Picos de Europa mountain range in Northern Spain, is a Catholic holy site and sanctuary dedicated to the Virgin Mary. A beautiful waterfall flows out of the cliff directly under the shrine.

Day 4:Oviedo - Salamanca - Madrid(489 km)

Today, we will head to Salamanca, where we will make a short stop to admire the famous Plaza Mayor and the Old Quarter. Then, we will continue to Madrid, bringing an end to the tour.

Additional Notes

Language: all the tour guides are bilingual, English and Spanish. If it happens that there are only English speaking clients on the tour, the tour will only run in English.
Luggage: Due to coach capacity limitations, each passenger is allowed one suitcase (maximum 20 kg) and one carry-on bag.
A minimum of 12 passengers is required for the package tour to operate. In exceptional cases where the minimum number of participants is not met, and in order to maintain our commitment to guaranteed departures, tours may operate without an accompanying guide, relying instead on an expert driver knowledgeable about the routes. If the required number of participants is not met, the trip will be automatically cancelled, and the traveller will be notified in writing at least 20 days before the scheduled departure date. In such cases, no compensation will be provided.
Occasionally, due to operational reasons, the panoramic city tour of Madrid may be conducted using the city’s Hop-on Hop-off bus service
The guided tours and activities mentioned in the itinerary will be conducted by local official guides in the respective cities, as originally planned.
