Day 1:Fairbanks

Today we will gather in Fairbanks and then transfer via hotel courtesy shuttle and overnight in Fairbanks (or purchase meet transfer service).

Day 2:Fairbanks

Today we will visit the Museum of North, cruise on the Chena River aboard a sternwheeler and experience the thrill of river travel.Time is available for shopping, walking or dining on your own in the downtown area. Tonight, guests can consider purchasing the optional authentic salmon bake.

Day 3:Fairbanks - Denali National Park - Anchorage(438 km)

We will drive to Denali National Park and enjoy an afternoon of exploring this pristine area at your leisure by either participating in a complimentary park service activity or optional tour. There are many to choose from including mild or wild river rafting, flight seeing, a jet boat safari on the Nenana River or a visit to an Iditarod champions award winning dog kennel.

Day 4:Anchorage - Denali National Park(290 km)

Today we will travel deep into Denali National Park on the Tundra Wilderness Tour and search the vast wilderness for bear, moose, caribou, and Dall sheep. This six to eight hours journey is narrated allowing for insight into the animals, flora and fauna of this spectacular region including a snack on the bus. Early May & September tours are shortened due to road conditions.

Day 5:Denali - Talkeetna - Anchorage(291 km)

This morning we will drive to Talkeetna. Then we will watch for a glimpse of the majestic Mt. McKinley or black bear along the banks of the Susitna River, enjoy time on own to explore this quaint Alaskan town. In the afternoon our journey will continue south to Anchorage by rail in Deluxe Dome Railcars.

    This small town in Alaska is about 115 miles north of Anchorage and has a population of just 876. It is the base for expeditions to Denali, the tallest mountain in North America.

Day 6:Anchorage

Today we will enjoy a brief city tour of Anchorage, which includes the historic downtown district and visit the Alaska Native Heritage Center. Tonight, you may share stories of your Alaskan Adventure with your traveling companions at a closing night dinner.

Saturday Cruise Alignments: Your adventure comes to an end with a courtesy transfer to the airport. Only breakfast included. (Guests going to cruise ship embarkation will return to the airport to meet the cruise line staff via hotel courtesy shuttle)

  • Anchorage, AK
    The largest city and also its biggest transportation hub in Alaska. It has the unique and natural environment with urban enclave surrounded by wilderness scenes.
  • Alaska Native Heritage Center
    This educational and cultural institution, opened in 1999, houses exhibits that detail the individual histories of the 11 native groups that inhabited the area. It is a short drive from downtown Anchorage.

Day 7:Anchorage

Today our adventure will come to an end with a transfer to the airport.

  • Airport Pick up: Guests can contact the hotel for free shuttle, or reserve the Meet & Greet Transfer service (English Only) at specified period when your booking. Hotel information will be provided 30 days prior to the tour departure date.
  • Return: Since this tour have no itinerary on last day, you could take a hotel free shuttle to airport. When to leave from the airport will depend on your wishes.

If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.

Additional Notes

Fairbanks Salmon Bake is not available for the guests those departure date on September 9th.
This tour requires U.S. visa. Please take with your valid travel document along the trip.
The Pre-paid Tips for All Services already includes all tips such as the tour guide/driver $5/person/day, restaurant waiter tips, hotel waiter luggage delivery fees to the room, etc.
Guests could choose to purchase meals when your booking or from your tour guide while on the tour.
The Dome Railcars train ticket is included. No refund will be provided if you cannot ride the train for any personal reasons.
Flightseeing over Mt. Denali may be cancelled due to severe weather conditionas and subject to actual situation.
Due to Fire safety regulations in Alaska, each room can only accommodate 2 queen beds/1 king bed with no any extra bed. Triple and Quad occupancy have two double beds in the room.
