Itinerary

Day 1:Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Puerto Vallarta is a colorful city blessed with the mixture of modern life and proud traditional Mexican culture. Our knowledgeable guides will take us first on a journey through the city to the Marina Vallarta, then to the suburb of Pitillal and the Church of the Virgin of Guadalupe, enjoying the picturesque cobblestone streets and old adobe houses while our guide explains the importance of silver and opal in Mexican culture before we visit a silver artesian workshop. Next, we will have a great photo opportunity of Vallarta Bay at Las Conchas Chinas. We will then move onto Nogalito on Banderas Bay, where we will visit a tequila distillery. Before getting back to the hotel we will make a stop at a quaint restaurant standing on the banks of Nogalito River where we will have time to rest, take pictures.

    Puerto Vallarta is a seaside resort town not far from Guadalajara in Mexico that bills itself as "The Friendliest City in the World." Its beauty and accessibility make it a popular spot with both local and international travelers.
  • Church of the Virgin of Guadalupe
    The Church of the Virgin of Guadalupe in Puerto Vallarta is a beautiful Catholic church, with an ornately crafted crown at the top of its bell tower. Services in English are held Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Los Conchas Chinas
    Los Conchas Chinas is an affluent beach community near Puerto Vallarta, deriving it's name from the "Chinese Shells" that wash up on its shores, found only at this location.
  • Marina Vallarta
    The Marina Vallarta is Puerto Vallarta's shipyard area, complete with intriguing shops and delicious restaurants. The area's eighteen hole golf course offers some of the finest fairways in Mexico.
  • Nogalito
    The name of a region of mountain and river near Puerto Vallarta, El Nogalito, which offers excellent hiking experiences, as well as canopy tours, allowing visitors to zip from tree to tree with ease.
  • Pitillal
    Pitillal is a suburb of Puerto Vallarta that isn't well known amongst tourists to the area, meaning that this area has more of an authentic Mexican feel than other areas of the city, with unique shops and restaurants.
