    Pricing Policy

    • Buy 2 Get 3rd Discounted: (1) Cancellation of discounted passenger must be made at least 7 days before departure. (2) No-show or late cancellation incurs a $190 penalty fee for the reserved bus seat.
    • Child rates: Child rates apply to those who are 0-12 yrs old. Child above 2 yrs must take the seat. Customers are welcome to use child safety seats on that have lap and/or shoulder belts/harnesses for the infant under 2 yrs.

    In the morning, we will visit the campus of Yale University, where a local guide will take us on a leisurely stroll around the grounds. After lunch, we will continue to Newport, RI, home to the luxurious Breakers Mansion.

      New Haven is a coastal city in the U.S. state of Connecticut. It is located on New Haven Harbor on the northern shore of Long Island Sound in New Haven County, Connecticut, and is part of the New York metropolitan area. Besides, New Haven is the home of Yale University.

      Yale University

      Founded in 1701, this world-famous university is the third-oldest in the United States. This Ivy-League school is consistently ranked as one of the best institutions of higher learning in the entire world, and admission is extremely competitive.

      The Breakers mansion is not just one of the most famous, but is the largest and grandest of the several historical Newport "cottages" that dot the ritzy coastline. The four-story building is located on 14 acres of waterfront property.

    Boston

    After breakfast, we will explore Boston. Our first stops of the day will be the campuses of Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, north of the Charles River in Cambridge. For lunch, we will visit Quincy Markey and Faneuil Hall, one of the oldest bazaar areas in the United States. Then, we will board a famous Boston Duck Tour to see the city by both land and see. Once the duck tour is over, we will visit the Museum of Science, which features over 700 interactive exhibits. In the evening, we will enjoy a delicious lobster dinner.

      Boston is a city as beautiful as it is historically significant. Visitors can walk the Freedom Trail and see where the seeds of the American Revolution were sown or visit the North End and look out over the harbor.

      Harvard University

      One of the most famous institutions of higher learning in the world, Harvard University in Cambridge, MA has been standing since 1636, making it the oldest university in the United States. Tourists come for both history and the architecture.

    Boston - Providence - Groton - Philadelphia (320 miles)

    On the way back to Philadelphia, we will visit Roger Williams Park Zoo, The zoo is one of the oldest zoos in the country. It provides visitors the opportunity to see animals from all over the globe - some more than a million years old. Visitors have the opportunity to feed giraffes and harbor seals, as well as an array of farmyard animals. And then we will visit the USS Nautilus (SSN-571). It is located on the east bank of the Thames River near new London, CT; New London Naval Submarine Base was the birthplace of the submarine force. It was originally a Navy yard, converted to a submarine base in 1916, and greatly expanded in World War II. USS Nautilus was the world's first operational nuclear-powered submarine. After that, we will go back to Philadelphia.

      Providence, founded in 1636, is the capital and most populous city of the U.S. state of Rhode Island and is one of the oldest cities in the United States. The city is situated at the mouth of the Providence River at the head of Narragansett Bay.

      Roger William Park Zoo

      The park and zoo are named after the founder of Providence, Roger Williams, the 17th-century proponent of religious tolerance. The zoo was founded in 1872, and is one of the oldest zoos in the nation.

      USS Nautilus (SSN-571)

      The world's first operational nuclear-powered submarine. The vessel was the first submarine to complete a submerged transit of the North Pole on 3 August 1958. It was decommissioned in 1980 and designated a National Historic Landmark in 1982. The submarine has been preserved as a museum ship in Groton, Connecticut, where the vessel receives around 250,000 visitors per year.

    The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.

    Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.

    Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .

    Tour Departure: This tour has 100% guaranteed departure; if the tour is cancelled there will be refund of 120%. Restrictions apply; due to weather conditions, State Emergencies, Airport Closures or anything beyond the control of the tour operator the 120% refund will NOT apply.

    Cancellation penalties per person for 1-4 days tours

    (Notification day and departure day are not counted)

    • 15-30 days or more prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
    • 7-14 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
    • 4-6 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    • Within 3 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    • Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    • Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    • Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
    • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.

    Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

    Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
