    Day 1

    Scottsdale - Sedona (350 miles)

    Today we will travel from the Scottsdale area to Sedona, AZ, where we will first visit the Montezuma's Castle National Momument. Following this, we will take a guided tour of Sedona to familiarize ourselves with the city. At about 3:00pm, we will check into the hotel and guests will have the rest of the day at their leisure.
    • Grand Canyon, AZ

      Considered one of the seven natural wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon was carved over 17 million years by the Colorado River. This breathtaking, 18-mile-long canyon has been stunning visitors for hundreds of years.

      Montezuma Castle National Monument

      Montezuma's Castle is a Native American desert dwelling carved into a limestone cliffside in Arizona. Unfortunately, visitors are no longer allowed to climb the ladders and explore the dwellings.

    Day 2

    Sedona - Grand Canyon (113 miles)

    Today we will drive through the Oak Creek Canyon from Sedona on our way to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. We will check into our hotel at about 1:30pm. Guests will have the remainder of the day free in the park.

      Grand Canyon South Rim

      The most easily-accessible rim of the Grand Canyon for visiting tourists, the South Rim is home to exquisite views and the Grand Canyon Village area, featuring lodging and amenities for visitors.

      Oak Creek Canyon

      The Grand Canyon's "little cousin," Oak Creek Canyon is about 12 miles long, and offers swimming and fishing areas for visitors to enjoy. In addition, there are picnic spots and hiking trails.

    Day 3

    Grand Canyon - Scottsdale (236 miles)

    During the morning hours you will have ample time to relax, take sunrise photographs overlooking the Grand Canyon, or even do a morning hike. At approximately 1:30pm, your guide will pick you up from the front lobby of your Grand Canyon Hotel and further explore the "Canyon". Our days tour of the National Park we will explore the infamous 30-mile section of road that winds east along the rim of the canyon, showcasing the best rim views and history along the way including the Little Colorado River Gorge and various view points.

    Before returning to Phoenix from the Grand Canyon, we will be treated to distant views of the Painted Desert as well as close up views of the Little Colorado River Gorge and Navajo Nation. The Painted Desert is the perfect backdrop for our stop in the Navajo Nation at a prominent trading post. You will be able to get a glimpse into the past, view the highest quality authentic Navajo artwork and craft work, as well as a gift shop to bring back souvenirs for friends and family.

    • Accommodations: Guests stay at a 3-4 star hotel in the Grand Canyon. which provides the best access to the area. For those traveling alone, single occupancy rates are available.
    • Physical Activity: This tour offers a wide range of walking opportunities, which require a reasonable level of fitness due to possible elevation changes.  The level of activity can be suited to and catered for almost all levels of fitness. 
    • Health and Vaccinations; It is imperative that guests have both dental and medical check-ups prior to their visit. We also recommend all guests' Tetanus inoculations are up to date. Our drivers and guides are first aid qualified and a medical kit is provided at all times.
    • Baggage Allowance: Individual luggage must be kept to a maximum of one piece of luggage less than 50 pounds or one day pack less than or equal to 40 liters.  It is recommended to travel with a small day pack for easy access to cameras, sun block, and clothing. Please plan ahead and arrange to store bulky items pre-tour. It is highly recommended that guests pack as light as possible.
    • Weather: Temperatures in Sedona and Grand Canyon are typically 15-30° cooler than Phoenix and vary by season. We recommend guests bring jackets in the event of changing weather patterns.

    • Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print and bring e-ticket(s) on your trip, as they serve as proof of purchase.
