Pricing Policy

  • Child rates apply to those 3-9 years and using existing bedding with 2 full-paying passengers. Infant under 3 years older with a seat will pay the same tour price, mandatory fee, and service fee as the Child. Please note each hotel room can only accommodate 4 guests (adults or children or infant regardless of ages).

Day 1: Hometown - Salt Lake City

Our journey will start at the SLC airport, where guests can take the hotel's free shuttle. About a 10-minute drive away, the hotel shuttle takes you to the hotel. Stay overnight in Salt Lake City.

Day 2: Salt Lake City - Jackson - Grand Teton - Yellowstone (330 miles)

In the morning, we will head to the small town of Jackson, WY. Afterwards we will head into Grand Teton National Park to take in the view of Jackson Lake and Teton Peak. From there, we will take you into the Yellowstone National Park. We will see 10 of Yellowstone's major scenery sites over the spans of 2 days, including Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic Spring, Yellowstone Lake and Fountain Paint Pot. Spend the night in West Yellowstone.

Please note before May 8, 2020 we will not visit the Town of Jackson and Grand Teton National Park. We will replace with the Yellowstone Bear World and Idaho Fall. The mandatory fees will be unchanged without refund.

    The third largest hot spring in the world, the Grand Prismatic Hot Spring gets its color from bacteria around its rim that feed off of the mineral-rich water. In the summer months, the hot spring is a vivid red-orange shade.

    Yellowstone Lake

    At 7,732 feet in the air, Yellowstone Lake is the largest freshwater lake above 7,000 feet in all of North America. This large, crystalline lake is a hotbed of geothermal activity and also contains underwater hot springs.

    Fountain Paint Pot

    Fountain Paint Pot, heated by the region's underground hot springs, F.P.P is half hot spring, half mud basin. The spring releases natural shades of red and yellow because of the oxidation of iron in the soil.

Day 3: Yellowstone National Park

Today we will continue our tour inside Yellowstone National Park, visiting Yellowstone Canyon, Yellowstone Fall, Biscuit Basin and more. Stay overnight at West Yellowstone.

    Roosevelt Arch

    A rusticated triumphal arch at the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The top of the arch is inscribed with a quote from the Organic Act of 1872, the legislation which created Yellowstone, which reads: "For the Benefit and Enjoyment of the People".

    Artist Point

    Artist Point
    Although Thomas Moran's famous sketches of Yellowstone falls were actually done from the northern rim (now known as Moran Point), the name Artist Point has stuck with this area for more than a century because of its beauty.

    Hayden Valley

    A large, sub-alpine valley in Yellowstone National Park straddling the Yellowstone River between Yellowstone Falls and Yellowstone Lake. The valley is well known as one of the best locations to view wildlife in Yellowstone.

    Mud Volcano Area

    The Mud Volcano blew itself apart in the early 20th century, but visitors can still see the impressive crater and other geothermal features in the surrounding area, such as the Mud Cauldron, Black Dragon's Caldron, and Dragon's Mouth Spring.

    Fishing Bridge

    Located near the mouth of the Yellowstone River, the Fishing Bridge is a great location to spot the native Cutthroat trout. There is an RV park of the same name nearby.

    This hot spring in the Upper geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming is famous for it's bright red-orange and blue-green coloring. These colors come from the bacteria which inhabit the geyser's interior.

    Biscuit Basin

    Biscuit Basin
    Three miles north of Old Faithful is Biscuit Basin, named for the unusual biscuit-like deposits formerly surrounding Sapphire Pool. Following the 1959 Hebgen Lake earthquake, Sapphire erupted, and the "biscuits" were blown away.

In the morning, we will go to Yellowstone National Park and then go to see the State Capitol building and Temple Square of Mormon Church. Stay overnight at Provo.

Day 6: Las Vegas - Grand Canyon West Or Las Vegas Free Day Tour

Option 1: Las Vegas - Grand Canyon West Rim - Las Vegas (541 miles) (Pay upon Arrival: $135 including Grand Canyon West admission fees and fuel surcharge.)

In the morning we will proceed to the Grand Canyon West Rim. Guests may take an optional visit to the Eagle Point, Skywalk Glass Bridge and Guano Point or an optional Helicopter and Boat Tour to more fully experience the canyon. Afterward, guests will have breathtaking photo opportunities of the Hoover Dam on the way return to Las Vegas.

Early morning we will visit the Ethel M Chocolate factory and the Cactus Garden. After lunch, we will go to Barstow Outlet for brand name shopping. In the early evening, we will return to Los Angeles.

Confirmation

Redemption

  • You will receive a confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order is processed. Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

    The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.
  • Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
  • Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of the reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Take tours for details.
  • Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
    30 or more days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount
    15-29 days or more prior to departure - 25% of the total purchase amount.
    10-14 days prior to departure - 30% of total purchase amount.
    6-9 days prior to departure - 50% of the total purchase amount.
    Within 5 days prior to departure or no show - 100% of the total purchase amount.
    Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit the entire payment.
    Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain the normal operation.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.
  • Hotel Policy
    Smoking is strictly prohibited at all hotels, violation of this rule will result in a penalty of $300/person, along with other legal liabilities. A valid credit card is required for guests to check in at the hotel.
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strive to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods, duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserve the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
