    Pricing Policy

    • Buy 2 get 1 free (3 or 4pax sharing one room): (1) Cancellation of free passenger must be made at least 14 days before departure. (2) No-show of free passenger incurs a $638 penalty fee for the reserved bus seat. (3)Discounts may not available during special events and holidays. (4) Self-dismiss of discounted passenger incurs about $100 - $250 penalty fee depending the date you leave.
    • Child Rate: Child rates apply to those 2-9 years and using existing bedding with 2 full-paying passengers (regardless of ages). Please note each hotel room can only accommodate 4 guests (adults or children).
    • Seat Category: First 5 Bus Rows, $10/person/day, subject to availability. Do not apply for the day tour like LA theme parks 10 options, Napa Valley+Sausalito or Redwood Forest+Monterey.
    Day 1

    Salt Lake City

    Your journey starts at the SLC airport when our tour guides in blue uniforms and holding signs welcomes you as you exit the arrival gate. After a short drive, our tour guide will drop you off at the hotel so you can rest after the flight. If you arrive after 8pm, there will also be free hotel shuttles to take you there. We will spend the night in Salt Lake City.

    Day 2

    Salt Lake City - Jackson - Grand Teton - Yellowstone - West Yellowstone (379 miles)

    In the morning, we will head to the small town of Jackson, WY. Afterwards we will head into Grand Teton National Park to take in the view of Jackson Lake and Teton Peak. From there, we will take you into Yellowstone National Park. We will see 15 of Yellowstone's major scenery sites over the spans of 3 days, including Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic Spring and Fountain Paint Pot. We will spend the night in West Yellowstone town.
    • Jackson Hole, WY

      Famous frontier town, located at the crossing of Grand Teton and Rocky Mountains, it became a heaven for outdoors sports enthusiast. The widely praised Elk Antler Arches Park, with its four arches made with thousands of elk antlers is a must see.
    • Grand Teton National Park, WY

      Grand Teton National Park is is located in the Rocky Mountains, Northwest Wyoming. Grand Teton National Park is noted for its stunning mountain vistas, its shimmering alpine lakes and its abundant wildlife.

      Grand Teton and Jackson Hole not available for visit before May 11th and we will visit Bear World and Idaho Fall instead.

    • Yellowstone, WY

      Yellowstone is the home to world's largest super volcano and over 10,000 natural landscapes. Yellowstone is well known for its geysers, hot springs, fumaroles and mud pots.

      Mud Volcano Area

      The Mud Volcano blew itself apart in the early 20th century, but visitors can still see the impressive crater and other geothermal features in the surrounding area, such as the Mud Cauldron, Black Dragon's Caldron, and Dragon's Mouth Spring.

      Fishing Bridge

      Located near the mouth of the Yellowstone River, the Fishing Bridge is a great location to spot the native Cutthroat trout. There is an RV park of the same name nearby.

      West Thumb Geyser Basin

      The West Thumb Geyser Basin is the largest geyser basin at Yellowstone Lake, and an impressive area of geothermal activity that contains hot springs, mud pots, and geysers-- some of which are even in the lake itself.

    Day 3

    Yellowstone National Park

    Today we will continue our tour inside Yellowstone National Park, visiting Yellowstone Canyon, Yellowstone Fall, Biscuit Basin and more.
    • Yellowstone, WY

      Yellowstone is the home to world's largest super volcano and over 10,000 natural landscapes. Yellowstone is well known for its geysers, hot springs, fumaroles and mud pots.

      Artist Point

      Named after the famous sketches of the waterfalls by Thomas Moran (but not actually the location where the sketched were done) this beautiful location showcases one of the most famous views in Yellowstone National Park.

      Biscuit Basin

      Three miles north of Old Faithful is Biscuit Basin, named for the unusual biscuit-like deposits formerly surrounding Sapphire Pool. Following the 1959 Hebgen Lake earthquake, Sapphire erupted, and the "biscuits" were blown away.

      Fountain Paint Pot

      Fountain Paint Pot, heated by the region's underground hot springs, F.P.P is half hot spring, half mud basin. The spring releases natural shades of red and yellow because of the oxidation of iron in the soil.

      Old Faithful Geyser

      Yellowstone National Park's famous geyser Old Faithful has been called the most predictable geographical feature in the world. Its reliability has been documented since 1870, when Minnesotan explorer Nathaniel P. Langford gave it its now-world-famous moniker.

      Morning Glory Pool

      This hot spring in the Upper geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming is famous for it's bright red-orange and blue-green coloring. These colors come from the bacteria which inhabit the geyser's interior.

    Yellowstone National Park - Salt Lake City (261 miles)

    In the morning, we will continue our tour inside Yellowstone National Park, visiting Norris Basin. After we all finished those amazing attractions, will exit the park to Salt City. In the afternoon, we will see the State Capitol building, Temple Square of Mormon Church and the Great Salt Lake when we get to Salt Lake City.

      Norris Geyser Basin

      Yellowstone National Park is full of areas like this - geyser basins - large, open areas where geothermic pressure from below the ground's surface force up various geysers and springs. The Norris Basin is one of the more accessible.
    • Salt Lake City, UT

      Utah State Capitol

      A member of the National Register of Historic Places, the Utah State Capitol has been standing since 1916. Adorned with columns and a dramatic dome, the neoclassical style is the same as the famous national Capitol building in Washington.

      Approximately ten acres in size, Temple Square is the center of religious activity for the Church of Latter Day Saints, housing the Temple and Tabernacle that are central to the religion.

      Mormon Temple

      This massive temple took 40 years to build, and was finally opened in 1893. It sits in 10-acre Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah, and the campus is a popular tourist destination even though the inside is off-limits.

      Great Salt Lake

      Located in the northernmost part of Utah, the Great Salt Lake is the largest saltwater lake in the Western Hemisphere and the fourth-largest terminal lake in the world. Its level of salinity is actually even higher than the ocean.

    Salt Lake City - Tooele - Reno (437 miles)

    In the morning, we wil head west until we reach Elko, where we will stop for lunch and visit the Bonneville Salt Flats. We will spend the night in Reno.
    • Tooele, UT

      Tooele is a city in Utah, approximately 30 minutes west of Salt Lake City. It offers stunning views of the nearby Oquirrh Mountains and Great Salt Lake. The Tooele Arts festival is a popular annual event that attracts many artists and musicians.

      Bonneville Salt Flats

      One of the prominent salt flats in western hemisphere, and considered the twin sister of Bolivia's Solar de Uyuni, the Bonneville Salt Flats are a favorite among photographers who enjoy mountain range scenery. Given its flat terrain, the area is known for speed trials available to the public throughout the summer and fall.

    Reno - Lake Tahoe - Sacramento - Napa Valley - San Francisco (211 miles)

    In the morning, we will drive to Lake Tahoe. Then we will head to Sacramento to visit the California State Capitol. After that we will go to Napa Valley and Castello di Amorosa for sightseeing and wine-tasting. Around evening we will arrive at San Francisco bay area.

    San Francisco City Tour

    In the morning, we will begin our exploration of San Francisco by visiting the gorgeous Palace of Fine Arts. Then, we will visit the Golden Gate Bridge. Next, we will head to Fisherman's Wharf, where we can get a delicious seafood lunch. At guests' own expense, they can take a Bay Cruise, which includes views of Alcatraz. In the early afternoon, we will visit Lombard Street. Then, we will see the Cathedral of St. Mary and the elegant Civic Center. Our final stop will be Chinatown.

      Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco, California is one of the western United States' most famous and popular tourist spots. The area is home to Ghirardelli Square, a wax museum, shopping centers, an aquarium, and much more.

      San Francisco Bay Cruise

      Take a boat ride around one of the most famous and historical bays in the United States, the famous San Francisco Bay. Guests can enjoy the scenic views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Angel Island.

      Lombard Street

      Lombard Street is famous for being the most crooked street in the world, with eight hairpin turns in a one-block stretch of road. This strange path was actually necessary-- the steep hill it climbs made it impossible to drive.

      Cathedral of Saint Mary

      The Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Assumption is the principal Catholic church in San Francisco, CA. This modern-style cathedral is the third of this name to sit in this location in the Cathedral Hill neighborhood of San Francisco.

      Civic Center

      The San Francisco Civic Center is an area of several blocks in northern San Francisco that contains the main governmental operations of the city. The Civic Center is open to the public and includes two large outdoor plazas.

      San Francisco Chinatown

    Yosemite National Park - California Central Valley - Los Angeles (364 miles)

    In the morning, the group will tour the Yosemite national park. You will have a chance to see the Yosemite waterfall,the El Capitan and Tunnel View Point. After the lunch, the group will drive through the richest California Central Valley before heading back to Los Angeles. We will arrive in Los Angeles in the late evening.     • Yosemite National Park, CA

      Yosemite is one of the wonders of Nature. It is located near the geographical center of the Nevada mountain range. Towering granite rocks, mighty waterfalls and placid valleys give Yosemite all the aspects of a "land of the gods".

      El Capitan

      This granite cliff on the north side of Yosemite Valley in Yosemite National Park is world-famous as a challenge for rock climbers. The top can also be reached by taking a hiking trail out of Yosemite Valley.

      Yosemite Falls

      The Yosemite Falls tumble down in three separate sections. In addition to being the tallest waterfall in North America, the Yosemite Falls are the seventh-tallest in the world. The falls process the most water during the springtime.

      Tunnel View

      One of Yosemite National Park's most popular outlooks, the Tunnel View near the Wawona Tunnel is often the first look at some of the famous formations visitors get. The site was renovated and re-dedicated in October of 2008.

    The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.

    Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.

    Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of the reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Take tours for details.

    Cancellation penalties per person (Notification day and departure day are not counted)

    • 30 or more days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount
    • 15-29 days or more prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
    • 8-14 days prior to departure - 30% of total purchase amount.
    • 4-7 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    • Within 3 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    • Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    • Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    • Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
    • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.

    Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strive to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods, duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

    Tour Cancellation:
    We reserve the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
