Day 1: San Francisco

Today we will gather in San Francisco at San Francisco International Airport. If you take a domestic flight will meet us in the "Level 1 Courtyard 4". If you take an international flight will meet us at the "International Terminal Bus Courtyard G". Please refer to the "Departure&Return" for more detailed information.

Day 2: San Francisco - Sacramento - Elko (429 miles)

In the morning, we will depart from San Francisco and head east towards Nevada. On the way, we will stop in Sacramento to see the California State Capitol. Then, we will drive through the Donner Pass, treated to beautiful desert views along the way, as we drive to Elko, NV for the evening.

    Old Faithful is a cone geyser in the Upper Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park. It is one of the park's most well-known natural features, and is famous for its predictability. It generally erupts every 91 minutes.

    This hot spring in the Upper geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming is famous for it's bright red-orange and blue-green coloring. These colors come from the bacteria which inhabit the geyser's interior.

Day 4: Yellowstone National Park - Grand Teton National Park - Jackson Hole - Pocatello (222 miles)

After breakfast, we will continue to explore Yellowstone National Park. Afterwards, we will travel along the Snake River to Grand Teton National Park, where we will have some time to see the amazing sights of this natural wonder. Later we will travel to Jackson Hole and visit Elk Antler Arches Square. Stay overnight in Pocatello.

    Located near the mouth of the Yellowstone River, the Fishing Bridge is a great location to spot the native Cutthroat trout. There is an RV park of the same name nearby.

    Constructed in the early 1960s, the Antler Arches stand at each of the four corners of Jackson's town square. As the name suggests, they were built from the shed antlers of deer, which were intertwined into their current shape.

On this lovely morning, we will depart for the Great Salt Lake State Marina which is also known as “America’s Dead Sea.” Following, we will drive to Capitol Hill and visit the most expensive and magnificent State House in America, the Utah State Capitol! Then, we will take a walk in the State Capitol building, to explore the architecture, sculptures and the rich history behind it. In addition, we will explore Temple Square! Here, we will follow the Mormon Missionary sisters’ lead and see the virtue kingdom for LDS church. We will learn all about the history and teachings of the LDS Church. Finally, we will arrive at Canyonlands National Park

Enjoy a scenic ride on the Colorado Plateau this morning toward Antelope Canyon passing by Glen Canyon Dam, which holds back Lake Powell. Afterward we will visit Horseshoe Bend. Then we will head to Antelope Canyon to explore the lower parts of the canyon. Then, we will drive to Las Vegas for the night.

Day 8: Las Vegas - San Francisco (568 miles)

Today, we will depart from Las Vegas and head back to San Francisco. Along the way, we will pass through the Mojave Desert, the largest desert in the U.S. and home to the world's largest solar power station and windmill-powered generators. We will arrive in San Francisco in the evening, bringing an end to the tour.

    Arrival procedure for US domestic & Canada flight: Level 1 Courtyard 4.

    Free Airport pickup time:10:00-22:00 (Every 2 hours, that is 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, and 22 o'clock.) . It means free pickup for finishing check out and standing at the gate before 22:00. (The free pickup service is based on the seat availability, first come first serve. So it is possible that you need to wait a little bit long during high season.) Airport meeting: The guide will be wearing a yellow uniform, holding a small yellow flag or an iPad with the local provider's icon.

  • If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.

  • All meals and drinks during the trip, although eating arrangements will be made by the tour guide.

Redemption

  • You will receive an confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order is received. Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip, they are your proof of purchase.

  • Changes to Reservations: A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary will be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
  • Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
    31 days or more prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
    15-30 days prior to departure - 30% of total purchase amount.
    8-14 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    Within 7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.

    For tours upgrade to Yellowstone Cabin:
    46 days or more prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
    15-45 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    8-14 days prior to departure - 70% of total purchase amount.
    Within 7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.

    Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a scheduled trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain normal operations.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.

  • Hotel Policy
    Smoking is strictly prohibited at all hotels, violation of this rule will result in a fine penalty of at least $250/person, along with other legal liabilities. One hotel room can accommodate 4 guests utmost (regardless of age). Guests need to contact the hotel and bear the fee yourselves if you require extra bed.
    Guests can check in to the hotel by tour confirmation number and valid ID.
    Note: guests cannot self-check-in in Las Vegas hotels. Please pick up room card from your tour guide.
