    San Francisco - Los Angeles (366 miles)

    Today, we will head to Roaring Camp, a lovely village located in California's coastal mountains, where we will ride a nostalgic steam train. Later on, we will drive to Los Angeles.

    New itinerary from 10/16/2018: we will depart from San Francisco this morning and drive to Los Angeles where we will see Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, Hollywood Walk of Fame. Stay overnight in Los Angeles.

      Roaring Camp Steam Train

      The steam trains that run along Roaring Camp Railroads' lines are authentic, dating back to 1867 and the protection of an area of redwoods known as the "Big Trees." The railway was established in 1875 to carry tourists there.

    Los Angeles - Las Vegas (228 miles)

    Today, we will journey through the San Bernardino Valley and the immense Mojave Desert on our way to fabulous Las Vegas. When we arrive in the afternoon, guests are free to spend the remainder of the day at their own leisure. They will be able to join an optional night tour of the city.

      Las Vegas Night Tour

      This tour is the best way to see the lights of the Vegas Strip! We will see the dancing waters of the Bellagio Fountains, the artwork of the Venetian Hotel, the Volcano at Mirage, and Old Town Las Vegas.

    Day 3

    Tour Options: Grand Canyon South/West Rim/Antelope Canyon/Free day (666 miles)

    Option 1: Hoover Dam - Grand Canyon West Rim
    In the morning guests will visit the Hoover Dam. Afterward, we will proceed to the Grand Canyon West Rim. Guests may take an optional visit to Eagle Point, Skywalk Glass Bridge, and Guano Point or an optional Helicopter and Boat Tour to more fully experience the canyon. Afterward, guests will return to Las Vegas for the night.

    Option 2: Grand Canyon South Rim - Hoover Dam
    Guests will head to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon and Grand Canyon National Park for the day. Afterward, we will return to Las Vegas, stopping at the Hoover Dam along the way.

    Option 3: Antelope Canyon
    We will begin the day by visiting the Glen Canyon Dam. Guests can also choose to take a Lake Powell cruise. Then we will travel to Antelope Canyon and visit Horseshoe Bend. Later on, we will drive to Las Vegas for the night.

    • Grand Canyon, AZ

      Considered one of the seven natural wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon was carved over 17 million years by the Colorado River. This breathtaking, 18-mile-long canyon has been stunning visitors for hundreds of years.

      Grand Canyon West Rim

      Grand Canyon West is a separate tourist area run by the Hualapai Tribe of Indians. Optional activities which can be done at an extra cost include helicopter tours, the educational "Indian Village," and the Skywalk Glass Bridge.

    Before we leave Las Vegas, we will travel to the Ethel M Chocolate Factory and its Botanical Cactus Gardens. On our way back to Los Angeles, we will stop in Barstow, CA, to visit the Tanger Outlets. We will arrive back in LA at night.

    Aquarium of the Pacific, Whale Watching and Battleship Iowa (39 miles)

    In the morning, guests will be picked up in the Los Angeles area to begin this tour. From there, we will head to Long Beach to visit the Aquarium of the Pacific and take a two-and-a-half hour whale watching cruise. In addition, we will visit the USS Iowa.

    In the morning, we will depart from Los Angeles and head to the famous seaside town of Monterey, where we will enjoy the scenic ride along the 17 Mile Drive that will take us to the famous Pebble Beach golf course.
