Pricing Policy

Child rate applies to those who are 5-11 years old.
No children under 5 on public tours. No child seats/booster seats provided. No Infants or children seated in laps. Under 18 on tour with parent or guardian. Tours are limited to five riders per Tuk Tuk (6 guests allowed with group that includes children and adults).
Children 3-4 years old on charters are allowed and please call or send us an e-mail to privatetour@taketours.com if needed.

Day 1

Jump in a Tuk Tuk, enjoy some holiday cheer, don a fuzzy santa hat, and sing some holiday tunes, as you take in the incredible sights. The Tuk Tuk takes us closer to spectacular sights such as the towering christmas trees at Ghirardelli Square, and the lights displays at Union Square, City Hall, Coit Tower, the Ferry Building and Pier 39. We will see the 17,000 lights outlining the buildings at Embarcadero Center! Put on a fuzzy Santa Hat and groove to holiday karaoke while you warm up with some hot cocoa! Enjoy the live commentary from our entertaining tour guides. The tour adventure starts in Fisherman's Wharf. Tour highlights include:

Start in Fisherman's Wharf and see the boats lit up in the harbor
Stop at Ghirardelli Square to enjoy the Christmas Tree and holiday lights
Cruise by Marina houses and sailboats lit up for the holidays
Stop and enjoy the glittering Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco Bay from the edge of Crissy Field
Stop at the majestic Palace of Fine Arts
Cruise through the Union Street Fantasy of Lights displays
Marvel at City Hall's colorful lighting for the holidays and Civic Center's holiday tree, Winter Park and ice rink.
Stop near Union Square's iconic tree, ice skating rink plus take in Macy's famous decorations
Cruise under the Dragon Gate and through Chinatown
Climb California Street alongside decorated cable cars to Nob Hill
Stop at the Fairmont Hotel and check out the two-story gingerbread house and decorated lobby
Stop at the Ferry Building to watch the Bay Lights show on the Bay Bridge and view the Embarcadero Center's four buildings outlined in 17,000 lights
Take in the Embarcadero's Exploratorium Light sculpture, with views of Coit Tower lit up for the holidays
Cruise through North Beach (San Francisco's Little Italy) and Washington Square Park
Quick stop at the Christmas Tree at Pier 39 that comes to life with hourly tree lightings synchronized to holiday music and a kaleidoscope of swirling color.
Evening ends in Fisherman's Wharf to see famous crab wheel sign decorated for the holidays

San Francisco, CA

San Francisco, the heart of central California's Bay Area, is famous for its iconic Golden Gate Bridge, its unique culture, and its position at the forefront of technological innovation. Beautiful weather and waterfront views await visitors as well!

Fisherman's Wharf

This San Francisco neighborhood is a popular tourist area due to its lovely scenery and abundance of shops, restaurants, museums, and other attractions. The area also hosts several annual events, such as a July 4th fireworks show.

Union Square

This California Historical Landmark has become a popular tourist destination for both its historical significance and its shops and culture. The square itself is a public plaza, and the neighborhood extends for several blocks around it.

San Francisco Ferry Building

Completed in 1898, San Francisco's terminal for ferries served as the gateway from the mainland to San Francisco Harbor. On top of the building is a 245 foot clock tower.

Golden Gate Bridge

The iconic arches of San Francisco, California's Golden Gate Bridge are known the world over as a symbol of California and the San Francisco Bay area. From movies to postcards, the Golden Gate Bridge is an American icon.

Palace of Fine Art

The grandiosely-named Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, California is a huge, ornate outdoor structure that is part of the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Its amazing architecture has made it popular for weddings and photography.

Ghirardelli Square

There is a range of cafes, restaurants, shops and much more in the Ghirardelli Square. It is home to the world famous Ghirardelli Chocolate Factory. The square is a convenient stop for chocolate and ice cream while already visiting at Fisherman's Wharf.

San Francisco City Hall

The City Hall you see today took two years to build. Steel, granite, and four floors of white marble interiors make up San Francisco's symbol of resilience, built after the previous City Hall was destroyed in the Great Earthquake and Fire of April 18, 1906.

North Beach

The neighborhood is San Francisco's "Little Italy" and has historically been home to a large Italian American population. It still has many Italian restaurants, though many other ethnic groups currently live in the neighborhood.

Embarcadero Center

Embarcadero Center sits on a 9.8-acre site located off the Embarcadero in the financial district of San Francisco. It is a commercial complex of five office towers, two hotels, an underground shopping center with more than 125 stores, bars and restaurants, two movie theaters, and fitness center on three levels.

No service animals allowed.

We travel past but do not enter Museums and Attractions.
We cannot accommodate wheelchair, walker, luggage, or stroller storage aboard the Tuk Tuk.
Bring an extra layer of warm, wind resistant clothing before you go.
Please leave bulky backpacks at home. All personal items must be stored in your lap.

Confirmation

All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print and bring e-ticket(s) on your trip, as they serve as proof of purchase.

Terms & Condition

Changes to Reservations Policy: The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
Tours are fully refundable if the reservation is canceled no less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled tour date and time. No-shows and late arrivals are not refunded or rescheduled.
We reserve the right to change the size or routing of the tour to meet demands for that specific day. Tours run in fog and light rain. If seasonal fog or rainy weather obscures the view, tour routes may be altered. We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control.
We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
