  • This is an excellent trip and would recommend to all my friends. Day 1: We boarded our buses and headed towards Barstow. On the way, the guide stopped at a Chinese buffet place in Fresno. We preferred other cuisines over Chinese, so we had a sumptuous dinner in a Mexican Restaurant nearby. Most of them were Chinese in our bus. Heard the buffet was good and costed around $13. We stopped at a farm house on the way. Then the Tanger Outlets had quite reasonable prices. At night we were put in Quality Inn hotel in Barstow. It was quite comfortable and had all amenities. Day 2: We started at 6:30am from the hotel to Death Valley. And was surprised that all the other folks were already in the bus and everything intact at 6:20am. We stopped in a fast food joint for breakfast. Then we headed towards Death Valley. It was a scenic place. The bus stopped at 3 places. Then we started to Las Vegas in the afternoon and stopped at Panda Express for lunch. We reached Vegas at 5:00pm. We took the night tour and got to see a lot of shows. Please note, that they were all free shows. (I don't know why the water show outside Bellagio was not included in the night tour though). We were put in the Luxor Hotel (pyramid hotel) and it was magnificent. Day 3:There were 2 buses on this day. One left to West Rim and the other to South Rim. We opted for West Rim. And today there was a different guide, Lankun. She was very knowledgeable and gave a lot of information about the places. We went around the West Rim. We paid $85 for the West Rim entrance and $35 for glass bridge walk. Food was included in West Rim package. Cameras are not allowed in the glass bridge. They charge $15 to $90 for the pictures taken in the glass bridge by professionals. We came back to the bus at 1:00pm. And were waiting for the rest of the folks who had taken Helicopter ride. They were quite late. We were watching 'Devil Wears Prada' movie in the bus. On the way back we stopped at Hoover Dam. We got to see the video on how the Dam was built. Evening we all had time to ourselves. Went on foot to all the Casinos and malls. Bellagio water show. Tried watching shows but all the tickets were sold out. So please plan well in advance if you want to watch any shows. Book them online or the previous day. Day 4: We started from Las Vegas and stopped at a fast food joint for breakfast and Chinese buffet for lunch ($11). We preferred Jack in the Box close by. Then reached home around 8:00pm. To put it in a nutshell, it was a very good trip. And I recommend it to all. Stick to your timings and you will have utmost fun. Bon Voyage!

  • This is not the last time I will do this! I was travelling with the guide Lankun and the driver Quincy. They made my tour wonderful! The only negative thing was, that Taketours.com doesn´t make it clear enough, that this tour is also a Chinese tour. I was very surprised. Only 1/3 of the speaking is in English, and all the restaurants we visited were Chinese. But still I want to recommend this tour, because Lankun took good care of the English speakers (in my group only 8 people vs. 40-50 Chinese speaking people). I loved this tour and made many new friends. And compared to the alternative, if I should do all this alone (not with this tour) then the price would have been MUCH different! You get SO much compared to the very cheap price! We stayed at a 4 star hotel at the Strip!

  • I definitely recommend this tour! I enjoyed the tour with the tour guide Lankun and driver Quincy, their team is exceptional. Lankun speaks English very well, even if one or two passengers only speaks English, she took time and explained everything both in Chinese and English. I like her, I felt the care from her during the entire trip. Even the driver Quincy is great, funny guy and a lot of fun! :)

  • We had a nice trip. Mr. James Li guided us well and has excellent time management skills. Our guide could not get us a ticket for a Las Vegas show due to some cancellation, but that's fine, we cab see it next time !! My kids had fun at Grand Canyon and Las Vegas' Circus Circus.

  • On Day 1, the bus picked us up on time and go round various locations for the next 2hrs to pick up other customers. Outlet shopping was reduced to 1hr instead of approx. 2hrs. On Day 2, the tour brings us to Death Valley and stopped at 3 locations for 30 minutes each. You will be back at Las Vegas by 4pm and can opt for night tour that take you to 2 roadside shows(4hrs incl 1hr dining stop at Chinese buffet). We wanted to stroll and see Las Vegas hotels thus did not join. Day 3 tour to South rim will make a stop at IMAX movie stop, if you don't want to watch, you will have nothing to do for 80-100min. So we opt for movie+meal deal. After that, the bus go to one stop, again we get 60min to walk on our own. Most of the time are spend on tour coach. Rushing through the attractions. Our tour guide was David CAO who is uncountable on mobile. We did not know what time to meet on Day 3 until near 12midnight. We called him 4 times on hp and 2 times to his hotel room between 9-11.30pm. No answer. He denied receiving our calls and gave lotsa excuses. His entertainment on board was to asked tourists to sing songs. He did not sing any. On last day, we change from a large coach to mini bus and he said "we are upgrading your trip so that you can experience the 'express bus'." It was a bumpy ride. Hotels were fantastic. Food stops are CHINESE buffet restaurants which 6-8 Chinese tourists like us did not join after one time.
