    Pricing Policy

    • Buy 2 Get 3rd Free details:
      • Price have been adjusted to reflect the discount
      • Cancellation of 3rd discounted passenger must be made at least 3 days before departure.
      • No-show (or late cancellation) of 3rd discounted passenger incurs $40 / day per person fee for the reserved bus seat. Ex: taking a 2-day tour would pay: $40 x 2 (days) x 2 (persons) = $160. No show penalty for the 3rd person will be charged from 1st and 2nd travelers. Paying passengers pay directly to tour guide on day of departure
      • All passengers partaking in these promotions must follow our itinerary, and must participate in optional tours, and pay the admission fees. All optional tour fares and admissions must be purchased from the tour guide. Failure to comply will result in full charge for 3rd passengers original tour fare, charged immediately and collected by our tour guide.
      Discounts may not available during special events and holidays.
    • Children policy: Child rates apply to those who are 2-9 years and sharing one room with at least 2 adults. Please note each hotel room can only accommodate 4 guests (adults or children regardless of age). Child under 8 years needs to bring own child seats, if not rental fee applied.
      3rd person, 4th person or child must share with the 1st & 2nd travelers in the same room (2 double beds). Extra beds, extra items and services (such as extra toiletries and towels) will not be provided.
    • Infant Rate: A separate seat is required for infants and infant rate ($25/day) apply to those under 2 years old (*rate does not include any admission fees)

    San Francisco - Sacramento - Elko (507 miles)

    Visit the California State Capital - Sacramento. Founded in 1849, Sacramento was at the heart of the gold rush, Pony Express and first continental railroad. In the afternoon head through the famous Donner Pass and enter Nevada - nicknamed the Silver State. Overnight stay in Elko.

    Elko - Casper (407 miles)

    Through the Great Salt Desert in the morning, the saline lake covers an area of around 1,700 square miles, but is subject to substantial fluctuations. Along the Emigration Canyon into Echo Canyon, visit the once traveled Oregon Trail. The trail represents the only corridor to the West. 1843 was known as "The great migration" and over the next 25 years more than a half million people went west on the Trail. The highlights of the trail also includes: the historical landmarks of Independence Rock, Devil's Gate. Overnight stay in Casper.

    Casper - Mount Rushmore - Devils Tower - Gillette (300 miles)

    Today we will visit Mount Rushmore National Memorial in South Dakota. Then we will continue to Devil's Tower National Monument and spend the night in Gillette.
    • Mount Rushmore National Memorial, SD

      This famous United States monument in the Black Hills of western South Dakota depicts the busts of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln. The 60-foot tall statues are carved right into the side of the mountains.
    • Devils Tower, WY

      The first declared United States National Monument. It'is an igneous intrusion or laccolith located in the Black Hills near Hulett and Sundance in Crook County. A monolithic rock formation that rises 1,267 feet above the surrounding land and was once the neck of an active volcano.

      Devils Tower National Monument

      This massive monolith in the Black Hills of Wyoming was the nation's first national monument, anointed by Teddy Roosevelt in 1906. In recent years, climbing the rock has become popular. The stone column is considered sacred by many Native Americans.

    Gillette - Yellowstone National Park (346 miles)

    Today, we will visit Yellowstone National Park, the oldest in the U.S., where we will see the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Yellowstone Falls, Mud Volcano, and Mammoth Hot Springs. There is also a diverse array of wildlife that inhabits the park, including elk, moose, and bears. We will spend the night in West Yellowstone.
    • Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument, MT

      This military cemetery sits at the site of the Battle of Little Bighorn, where Sioux forces led by Sitting Bull annihilated the US army's forces, which were trying to force them onto reservations. It was the location of "Custer's Last Stand."

      The largest, oldest, and most famous national park displays a fascinating scenery of hot springs, geysers, canyons & waterfalls, and nature everywhere you look!

      Lower Yellowstone River Falls

      The Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River in Wyoming are the largest by volume in the Rocky Mountains of the western United States, and they stand more than 300 feet tall-- almost twice as high as Niagara Falls.

      Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone

      This impressive gap in the earth in the first large canyon on the Yellowstone River. It is 24 miles long, and can reach a quarter-mile in depth and 3/4 a mile in width. It is gorgeously colored.

      Mammoth Hot Springs

      This large complex of hot springs is impressive both for its unique beauty as well as its scale. Formed hundreds of thousands of years ago by volcanic and seismic activity, these springs are one of Yellowstone's most popular spots.

      Mud Volcano Area

      The Mud Volcano blew itself apart in the early 20th century, but visitors can still see the impressive crater and other geothermal features in the surrounding area, such as the Mud Cauldron, Black Dragon's Caldron, and Dragon's Mouth Spring.

      Upper Yellowstone Falls

      Located a quarter-mile upstream of the larger Lower Falls, the Upper Yellowstone River Falls plunge 109 feet down an eroded lava cliff into the basin below. The area below the falls has been subject to heavier erosion than above.

      Grand Prismatic Hot Spring

      The third largest hot spring in the world, the Grand Prismatic Hot Spring gets its color from bacteria around its rim that feed off of the mineral-rich water. In the summer months, the hot spring is a vivid red-orange shade.

    Yellowstone National Park - Grand Teton National Park - Jackson Hole - Salt Lake City (262 miles)

    After breakfast, we will continue exploring Yellowstone National Park, making a stop at Old Faithful. Then, we will drive along the Snake River to reach Grand Teton National Park, where we will have some time to see this breathtaking landscape. After a stop in Jackson Hole, WY, we will drive to Salt Lake City, where we will spend the night.

    Salt Lake City - The Bonneville Salt Flats - Reno (438 miles)

    Visit Utah State Capitol Building and Temple Square. Then we will head to the Bonneville Salt Flats, a land of thick crust of salty soil. Arrive in Reno, Nevada in the afternoon, the city known as "The Biggest Little City in the World", is the birthplace of the gaming corporation Harrah's Entertainment. Overnight stay in Reno.

      Approximately ten acres in size, Temple Square is the center of religious activity for the Church of Latter Day Saints, housing the Temple and Tabernacle that are central to the religion.

    Reno - Lake Tahoe - San Francisco (190 miles)

    In the morning, we will leave Reno and head to gorgeous Lake Tahoe. The clear blue water surrounded by majestic mountains will take your breath away. In the afternoon, we will make our way back to San Francisco, where this tour will come to an end.     • Personal room fees such as laundry or valet services, telephone calls, or alcoholic beverages/ mini bar items, unless they are otherwise specified.

    • Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.
    • Airport Transfers: Children who are under 8 years old MUST be in a car seat according to California state law. Please enter your child age in the 'Child Age (if any)' field.
    • Luggage and infant car seat Policy: Maximum two luggage(one full size+one carry on). We will charge $25 for every extra suitcase.
      Each passenger is permitted one piece of luggage to be stored underneath the bus and one additional smaller handheld piece of luggage can be taken on board. Please note that strollers or wheelchairs will account as the one piece of luggage delegated to the passenger. Passenger can bring their own car seat or infant seat.
    • All passengers MUSTpurchase Theme Park Tickets(Disneyland & Universal Studios) from the tour guide. Passengers with own admission ticket MUST pay the transportation and service fee to the tour guide at $48 per person.
    • Buy 2 get 1 free promotion: Passengers must pay $50 per person if not take the Grand Canyon tour.
    • No smoking is allowed in the hotel rooms at any time. Failure to comply will result in a $300.00 fine payable immediately and charged by Hotel.

      Confirmation

    • All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book airline tickets until you have received the confirmation.

      Redemption

    • You will receive an confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order was received. Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your Confirmation Email (e-ticket). When you reserve your attractions and services you will be asked to print e-tickets to present when you arrive at your destination. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

    The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.

    Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. No change in pick-up location is allowed within 2 business days from departure. We are not responsible for the missed tour due to unconfirmed change in pick up locations.

    Cancellations and Alteration fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours through web mail at Contact Us. Your refund request will be answered and processed promptly. If you do not receive any reply within 2 business days, that means your request is not received successfully; thus, the tour status remains "confirmed". Please contact us immediately at 617.500.7002.
    (Notification day and departure day are not counted)

    • Cancellations received up to 7 days prior to departure will incur a penalty of $50 per person.
    • Cancellations received within 4-6 days of departure will incur a penalty of $100 per person.
    • Cancellations received within 3 days of departure will incur a penalty of 100% of total purchase amount.
    • Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.

      We cannot grant refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
      There is 6% handling fee of refund amount add-on to the above penalties.

    Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

    Tour Cancellation
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements (e.g. minimum number of passengers) or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
