We sail through the Strait of Magellan to the Magdalena and Marta Islands.Magdalena Island receives more than 120,000 penguins each yearandMarta Islandis home to more than 1,500 sea lions.
We start with this adventure, we go to Laredo Bay in transfer to boarding in speedboats for 45 minutes to Magdalena Island, where we landed for 1 hour with our guide to know the natural habitat of the Magellanic Penguins, in one of the largest colonies in South America.
We continue our journey to Marta Island (only if the weather conditions are good) to see sea lions, imperial cormorants, Antarctic Terns and hundreds of Dolphin Gull, if we are lucky we can also see Southern Dolphins, Piebald Dolphin and Sei Whales. Then return to the pier and to Punta Arenas.

The day begins at your hotel where you will be greeted by a bilingual guide and seated on an air-conditioned bus. The bus ride takes you to the pacific port of Puntarenas stopping along the way for Breakfast snack served on the bus. Upon arrival in Puntarenas you will board catamaran, offering a level of cruising luxury and comfort.
Particularly enchanting for its beauty, Tortuga Island is known for its immaculate white sand beach and turquoise waters, a perfect stop for swimming and a beach lunch.
For passenger safety and convenience, the Catamaran has a bow ramp which allows the passengers to step directly onto the beach. The Captain and his crew are the masters of this seascape. They are seasoned mariners who will convey their love of Costa Rica to you.
