Child rates: Upon increasing needs and local statutes in Seattle, a separate seat is required for child who is 0-8 years old. Please bring it on your own. If you want to rent it from us, please leave a note after you place the order. The rental fee for the safety seat is $8/person/day.

Day 1

This tour will begin after guests have been picked up from the specified departure location in Seattle. Today, we will head to Olympic National Park, which contains almost one million acres of land and over 900 hiking trails along the Pacific coastline. We will see the two main attractions in the park, Hurricane Ridge and Lake Crescent. In the evening, we will return to Seattle by ferry boat. As Olympic National Park is a mountain attraction, please remind the day tour attenders of preparing dry food for lunch to ensure the time of visiting.
Special Notes：

If we can't drive to the Hurricane Ridge due to the bad weather, we will go to the other attractions in Olympic National Park. From now till Mar, 1st,2023, we'll visit Poulsbo (60 mins) instead.
If the ferry closed or late due to any certain reasons, we will switch to drive back to Seattle.

Olympic National Park, WA

This UNESCO World Heritage Site in the northwesternmost corner of the United States is best known for being part of the largest temperate rainforest on the planet. It is also home to gorgeous coastline and a portion of the Olympic Mountains.

Hurricane Ridge

Located within Washington's Olympic National Park, this mountainous region is a popular destination for hiking, skiing and snowboarding. In the summer, several picnic areas open up, making this a great spot for a day-trip from nearby Seattle.
During the period from 9/16/2022 to 10/26/2022, Hurricane Ridge Road will be closed for construction, and the itinerary will be adjusted to take pictures on the halfway of Hurricane Ridge, and stay in the tropical rainforest for an extra 30 minutes. Shifts will return to normal after 10/26/2022.

Lake Crescent

This deep lake in the heart of Olympic National Park holds water that is a brilliant hue of bright blue. It was formed during the last Ice Age by thousands of years of glacial activity.
Duration: Approx. 45 Minutes

Temperate rain forest

Because of development, very few temperate rainforests outside of Olympic National Park exist along this stretch today. In Olympic, temperatures rarely drop below freezing or go above 80F, enabling an incredibly unique ecosystem to grow. Mosses, ferns, Douglas fir, red alders, Western hemlocks and Sitka spruce thrive in temperate rainforests, as do epiphytes, which are plants growing on other plants. Cat-tail moss and licorice ferns are two types of epiphytes you will find in Olympic.
Poulsbo, WA

Poulsbo is a town across the Puget Sound from Seattle, was settled by Norwegian immigrants more than 100 years ago. Its Norwegian heritage can still be seen in the businesses and homes clustered around the charming downtown area of Poulsbo.

* Note: In oder to ensure the time of the various attractions, guests should prepare dry food for lunch in advance.

- Free Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) drop-off at the end of the tour is available, please book flights after 20:00.
- Please provide your detail flight information 3 days before the tour start, otherwise we will not provide airport drop-off service.

Confirmation

All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Terms & Condition

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. The time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through webmail at Contact Us .
Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
15 days or more prior to departure - Free cancellation with full refund.
8-14 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
Within 7 days prior to departure or no show - 100% of the total purchase amount.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain the normal operation.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your account. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 10% handling fee.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.
Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
Some of the destinations may be closed due to Covid pandemic.Please follow your tour leader's instruction. Your kind understanding and cooperation are highly appreciated.

Additional Note

Minimum 2 people required for the product.
City passes are not accepted during an escorted tour due to the fact that they do not correspond into the tour schedule. Guests need to purchase admission tickets from tour guides.
Itinerary may change without notice
Itineraries are subject to change due to the weather, transportation and other conditions, in order to provide the best experience for you.
In case of attraction closures (due to holidays or construction, etc.), tour guide may make some necessary changes to the itinerary accordingly.
Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.

I took a one day tour to Olympic National Park.My tour guide was JASON.He took me vista points in the national park,valley,waterfalls and lake crescent.He is a superb tour guide.

We took the tour to Olympic National Park in month of April 2017 and our tour guide was Jake. Hurricane Ridge point was all covered with snow, however, luckily for us, it was one of those fine-sunny-zeroWind day. It turned out a very nice experience for us. As part of the package we got to see: Hurricane Ridge (2 hours break), main attraction of the tour. It's an awesome view of the Garden of Mountains, Unforgettable one. Jake also gave us some 10 min break at Heart of the Hills point, where you get a beautiful view of the valley, if you are lucky enough in terms of weather. Lake Crescent (1 hour break) which also include a hike of about 1.5 miles to Marymere Falls. at Lake we got some awesome views for pictures and sightseeing. Jake was kind enough to provide additional stop at Lake Crescent, which provided a different view of the lake and mountains around. 1 hour trek to Marymere Falls's through beautifully picturesque Rain Forest, where you get to see some awesome views of old trees and water falls. On the way back, we took Washington Ferry from Bainbridge Island to Seattle. That forms the 3rd attraction of the trip. its a 30 min ferry and you got to take some awesome pictures of Seattle Skyline. I think, as part of this one day trip, we covered as much as we could in a day. Travelling on our own, we might not have been able to cover so much. Special thanks to our guide Jake :)

Loved this tour! This is the perfect and convenience day trip. Tour operator picks you up and drop you off at the same location. You can take this tour and forget about the daily hectic life. Get in contact with nature.
