Day 1: Seattle-Vancouver (142 miles)

Today, guests will gather at the airport in Seattle or Vancouver. Overnight at Vancouver.
For all guests who collect luggage and meet with the guide before 12:15pm, you may pay $1 to participate in the 3-hour Vancouver tour. Please patiently wait in the airport lobby and we will depart from the airport at 12:30pm.

Day 2: Vancouver-Kelowna-Okanagan-Revelstoke (346 miles)

In the morning, we will pass through the town of Merritt and head to visit the famous local "VQA" rare wine winery. Shortly after, we will head to Kelowna: the hometown of fruits in BC and take a visit to the Okanagan Lake. Finally, we will overnight at Revelstoke or Salmon Arm.

Day 3: Revelstoke - Yoho National Park - Banff National Park - Banff (235 miles)

Today, we will visit the famous "Last Spike" in the Pacific Railroad Memorial Park. Drive through the Yoho National Park and then come to the Vermillion Lake. It's a good place for photographers from all over the world to take pictures here. Then we will go to visit the Bow Falls. Afterwards, we will continue to the Banff National Park and take the Banff Gondola at own expense to arrive at the summit of Sulfur Mountain. You'll get a ticket of Banff Upper Hot Spring as a gift. Later on, we will go to Banff Town, the European style town of Rocky Mountain and also a commercial area within the National Park, where there are restaurants, hotels, shopping and entertainment.

    Sulfur Mountain Gondola Ride

    This unique cable-car ride takes visitors to Alberta, Canada's Banff National Park to the top of Sulphur Mountain, a UNESCO World Hertitage Site. Atop the mountain there are many viewing areas, a long boardwalk, and two small museums.

    These outdoor hot springs provide breathtaking views of the surrounding Banff National Park, especially Mount Rundle. The water flow to the springs stops for several months during the winter.

Day 4: Banff - Lake Minnewanka - Johnston Canyon - Banff (107 miles)

Today we will go to Lake Minnewanka to enjoy the unique "bubbly lake" scenery in winter. And we will pass by Two Jack Lake along the way. We will then visit the Cave and Basin National Historic Site, where you will learn about the history of hot springs using. Then we return to Banff to have a leisurely lunch. You may take photos with the popular Banff Logo Sign. In the afternoon, we will drive along the beautiful Bow Valley Parkway to Johnston Canyon. Follow us to hike in the famous Ice Walk (rivet crampons will be used for free) and enjoy the pure white in winter!

Day 5: Banff - Marble Canyon -Lake Louise - Banff/Calgary (168 miles)

After breakfast, we will drive west to the popular hiking spot Marble Canyon. And we will pass through the Castle Mountain, an impressive landmark. In the afternoon we will take a visit to the beautiful Lake Louise in the Rocky Mountains. Every year from January to April, the grand Ice Magic Festival is held here, attracting ice sculpture artists and enthusiasts from all over the world. The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, located on the lakeside, looks like something out of a painting, with snow-capped mountains and glacial lakes complementing each other. You can choose to participate in our optional activities.
Recommended activities for enriching the trip in the Lake Louise area (Choose max 2):
1. Snow Shoeing (winter only): free use of snow shoes;
2. Afternoon tea at Fairmont Louise Lake Castle Hotel;
3. Lake Louise Horse Sleigh Rides (winter only): about 45 mins.

    Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
