    Tour Options

    Option 1:

    Seattle - Olympic National Park (121 miles)

    This tour will begin after guests have been picked up from the specified departure location in Seattle. Today, we will head to Olympic National Park, which contains almost one million acres of land and over 900 hiking trails along the Pacific coastline. We will see the two main attractions in the park, Hurricane Ridge and Lake Crescent. (If we can't drive to the Hurricane Ridge due to the bad weather, we will go to Marymere Falls.) In the evening, we will return to Seattle by ferry boat. (If the ferry closed or late due to any certain reasons, we will switch to drive back to Seattle.)
    • Olympic National Park, WA

      This UNESCO World Heritage Site in the northwesternmost corner of the United States is best known for being part of the largest temperate rainforest on the planet. It is also home to gorgeous coastline and a portion of the Olympic Mountains.

      Hurricane Ridge

      Located within Washington's Olympic National Park, this mountainous region is a popular destination for hiking, skiing and snowboarding. In the summer, several picnic areas open up, making this a great spot for a day-trip from nearby Seattle.

      Lake Crescent

      This deep lake in the heart of Olympic National Park holds water that is a brilliant hue of bright blue. It was formed during the last Ice Age by thousands of years of glacial activity.
    Option 2:

    Mt. Rainier National park (115 miles)

    Today, we will head to Mount Rainier National Park. Along the way, we will arrange parking for 1-2 attractions according to the actual situation: Christine Falls (via), Narada Falls, Paradise Visitor Center (including glacier overlooking, Martha Falls, Wildflower meadow at Paradise, etc. in case of bad winter weather, we will go to the Longmire instead). In the summer, we will traverse the Volcano Mountains. Afterwards, we will return to Seattle.
    • Mount Rainier National Park, WA

      Mount Rainier National Park is named for Mount Rainier itself, the tallest peak in the United States and an active volcano predicted to massively erupt sometime in the next decade. Still, more than a million people visit its slopes each year.

    Seattle City Tour

    Sightseeing around Seattle, visiting theSky View Obervatory at Columbia Center, Pike Place Market.We will also visit the outside of Space Needle and go to EMP Museum, and go to Chihuly Garden and Glass. After that we will continue to visit Pioneer Square, and Museum of Flight. Afterwards, the tour will come to the end.

      Sky View Observatory at Columbia Center

      Sky View Observatory at Columbia Center is one of Seattle's new landmarks and most popular Observatories. Take the elevator to the sightseeing floor and enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of downtown Seattle: the Ferris Wheel, Puget Sound, Space Needle, Microsoft, Mt. Rainier and more.

      Pike Place Market

      One of the oldest farmers' markets in the United States, the Pike Place Market first opened in 1909-- more than 100 years ago. The still-thriving market overlooking Elliot Bay sees more than 10 million visitors every year.

      Space Needle

      This icon of the American Northwest has adorned everything for movie screens to postage stamps. Built in 1961 for the 1962 World's Fair, the Space Needle features outdoor elevators and a rotating restaurant at its top.

      EMP Museum

      The museum is founded by Microsoft co- founder Paul Allen and designed by Avant grade designer Frank Gehryhe, located at the foot of the Space Needle. Its colorful appearance is made up by 3000 pieces of metal means to present the strength of music and the beauty of flowing.

      This magnificent garden is an exhibit at the Seattle Center that displays the incredible glassworks of Dale Chihuly. The facility includes a garden, a glasshouse, interior exhibits, and a theater. Inside the glasshouse is a 100 foot long structure.

      Museum of Flight

      This air and space museum at King County International Airport in Seattle is the largest private aerospace museum in the world. Its collection boasts more than 150 aircraft, plus tens of thousands of artifacts and over a million photos.

    Leave Seattle and fly to Fairbanks (FAI) (air fare not included).
    After arrival at the hotel at Fairbanks, the guest will gather at the hotel around 22:00 PM and take rides to the Clear Summit Aurora Viewing Lodge or Aurora Viewing Bar to observation the aurora. and get back to the hotel around 02:00 AM.

      Clear Summit Aurora Viewing Lodge

      The bar is on the mountain top where is far away from the city and has less light pollution. There is a large monitoring screen in the bar, so please make yourself comfortable inside while waiting for the Northern lights to show up.

      There are thousands of one-dollar bills with hand-written blessings all over the wall and the roof of the bar. You could wait for the Northern Lights in this lovely warm lodge and have a drink if you’re interested.

    Day 4

    Fairbanks - Chena Hot Spring and Aurora Observation

    Today, guests can choose to enjoy the Fairbanks City Tour and experience the Alaska Sled Dog Tour. Afterward, guests will enjoy the Aurora Viewing in the evening at the Chena Hot Spring and visit the Chena Ice Museum.
    (Optional)Alaska Sled Dog Tour(around 2 hours) The tour is expected to leave at the designated hotel around 10:30 in the morning. Guests can experience the pleasure of galloping in Alaska's ice and snow land (around 20-25 minutes).
    (Optional)Fairbanks City Tour(around 4 hours) The tour is expected to leave at the designated hotel around 13:00 in the afternoon. and arrange lunch first. Then go to the famous North Pole, also known as "Santa's home", and after that, the guest will visit the Museum of the North.
    Chena Hot Spring and Auror Observation Guests will need to gather at the hotel and the tour departure at around 18:30. Guests will enjoy the Aurora Viewing (second time) in the evening at the Chena Hot Spring (guests who are inconvenient to experience the hot spring due to personal reasons or health conditions on that day, the fee cannot be refunded) and visit the Chena Ice Museum. We will return to the hotel at around 02:00 in the morning.

      Housed on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus, the museum's mission is to acquire, conserve, investigate, and interpret specimens and collections relating to the natural, artistic, and cultural heritage of Alaska and the Circumpolar North.

      Chena Hot Springs Resort

      Chena Hot Springs was founded over 100 years ago. The resort makes use of the first low-temperature binary geothermal power plant built in Alaska and is working on several alternative energy projects, including production and use of hydrogen and vegetable oil for fuel.

      Chena Hot Springs Tour

      Tour pick-ups begin at 11:00 am. Depending on the condition of the road, the drive to Chena will last about 1 hour and 15 minutes. After you arrive, please remain in the vehicle for a few short minutes while your guide collects the ticket. Then you will have about 2 hours to enjoy the wonderful hot springs and you can also shop in the gift shop, cafe or take a look at the reindeer next to the pool. At 17:00 we will meet up with our tour guide to return to Fairbanks and will arrive at hotel about 18:30.

      Chena Hot Springs' Ice Museum

      Chena Hot Springs' Ice Museum is open year around and allows you to see the ice-sculptures of world famous sculpting masters. Explore "rooms" made out of ice as well as free standing sculptures.

    Free day at Fairbanks (180 miles)

    Today the guests will enjoy a relaxing day in Fairbanks or choose the other two exciting day tours to explore more about beautiful Alaska.
    Option 1: A Journey of Aurora Tracking Across The Arctic Circle By Thomas Arctic Bus
    Guest will depart from the hotel early in the morning and take Thomas Arctic Bus and drive along the Dalton Highway.Along the way, we can see Alaska's famous oil pipeline, Yukon River, and the amazing storybook scenery when towards the Arctic Circle.On the way back to Fairbanks, we will also have a chance to see Northern Lights viewing. Upon completion of your journey, you will be presented with Arctic exploration certificate. We will return to the hotel at around 2:00 AM to 3:00 AM.
    Option 2: Aurora Tracking Flight Tour Across The Arctic Circle (including the Brooks mountains polar tour)
    Early in the morning the guest will need to depart from Fairbanks by taking a small sightseeing plane to Coldfoot. At noon, we will start the Polar Tour of Brooks Range (English Guide), and go north again along the Dalton Highway, to Brooks Range, The Gate of Arctic National Park And after that, the guest will arrive at the destination of this trip -Sukakpak Mountain where will also be a fascinating aurora borealis. On the way back, you will come to Wiseman. The tour is planning to get back to Fairbanks by Thomas Arctic Bus from Coldfoot and return to the hotel at around 2:00 AM to 3:00 AM. Upon completion of your journey, you will be presented with Arctic exploration certificate.

      Alaska Pipeline

      One of the world's largest pipeline systems built between 1974 and 1977 after the 1973 oil crisis caused a sharp rise in oil prices in the United States.

      Arctic Circle

      The Arctic Circle is the most northerly of the abstract five major circles of latitude as shown on maps of the Earth.

      Dalton Highway

      A 414-mile (666 km) road in Alaska built as a supply road to support the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System in 1974. It is also the subject of the second episode of America's Toughest Jobs and the first episode of the BBC's World's Most Dangerous Roads.

      Yukon River

      The Yukon River, which is one of the major rivers in North America, runs across Alaska and is injected into the Bering Sea. The whole basin is around 850,000 square kilometers, and is more famous for its natural resources (forests, gold and silver mines).

      Brooks Range Safari

      Deep into the polar region and head towards the northernmost Brooks Mountains in North America.. The Gate of Arctic National Park is on the west side of the Dalton Highway. If fortunate enough, you can witness the caribou migration. Drive straight to the end of our trip - Sukakpak Mountain. On your way back, come to Wiseman, the only village along the Dalton Road.

    Fairbanks Free Day 2

    Today the gust can enjoy a relaxing day in Fairbanks. And gust can have other activities at their own cost.
    (Optional) Snowmobiles English guide, including transportation to and from the hotel, about 2 hours
    (Optional) Lake cabin ice fishing barbecue tour English guide, including round-trip Hotel transportation, round-trip about 4 hours
    (Optional) Aurora Borealis observation cabin including transportation to and from the hotel, about 4 hours. When night falls, in order to avoid the city's light damage, we plan to take the northern lights shuttle bus around 22:00PM to go to our selected northern lights observation cabin - the featured Bar Aurora Cabin or the Clear Summit peak Aurora Longue, to warm and wait for the northern lights. It is expected to arrive at the hotel for a rest the next day around 02:00AM.

      • If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.

    • A mandatory service fees: Minimum $10 / day / person should be paid in cash to tour guide and the bus driver as a service fee. Any child / Infant reserving a seat will have to pay the service fees as well. Ex: 2 people taking a 2-day tour would pay: $10 x 2 (seats) x 2 (days) = $40.
    • Personal room fees: such as laundry or valet services, telephone calls, or alcoholic beverages/mini bar items, unless they are otherwise specified.

    • Gift package cannot redeem for cash, there will be no refund if guests are not able to join those included attractions.
    • Please note that the Aurora Borealis are a natural phenomenon. They will be affected by the weather and other natural occurrences. We will take you to the spots most likely to guarantee a good Aurora viewing, but we cannot guarantee they will come out. If the Aurora do not appear, your money will not be refunded.
    • The itinerary order of your tour may differ from the day of your arrival.
    • To guarantee a Chinese-English speaking guide upon booking, your order must be for at least two people.
    • This tour requires an American VISA. We suggest you follow the EVUS handbook to apply for a visa and only upon obtaining it book a tour.
    • Please note that we have one pick-up time per day. On the first day of the trip, please be sure to arrive at the hotel lobby 10 minutes before the appointed time and wait patiently. Due to other guests, if you do not appear on time for personal reasons, you will be regarded as giving up the free shuttle service and the itinerary you have booked. The company will not offer any refund.
    • According to Alaska law and for fire safety, a bed may not be added in the room.Hotel rooms are all Queen beds.

    • All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

      Redemption

    • Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

      Terms & Condition

    • PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
      The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.
    • Booking changes
      A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
    • Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
      Up to 31days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
      16-30 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
      9-15 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
      1-8 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
      Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
      Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
      The refund amount will be credited directly to your account. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 10% handling fee.
      NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.
    • Itinerary Variations
      We constantly strive to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods, duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
    • Tour Cancellation:
      We reserve the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
      We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
