Day 1: Seattle-Vancouver (142 miles)

Today, guests will gather at the airport in Seattle or Vancouver. Overnight at Vancouver.
For all guests who collect luggage and meet with the guide before 12:15pm, you may pay $1 to participate in the 3-hour Vancouver tour. Please patiently wait in the airport lobby and we will depart from the airport at 12:30pm.

Shortly after, we will head to Kelowna: the hometown of fruits in BC and pass by the Okanagan Lake. Following, we will visit the famous local Vernon Planet Bee Honey Farm. Finally, we will return back to Revelstoke.

In the morning, we will pass through the famous Rogers Pass in Glacier National Park. Following, join us for an epic scenic drive to Yoho National Park! Shortly after, we will head to the Banff National Park! First, we will have a nice lunch, and we will go to the Louise Lake to enjoy the beautiful scenic views of Louise Lake. Next, we will take the Banff Gondola to have a panoramic view of Banff. Following, we will take a visit to the beautiful Moraine Lake. Then we will go to see the famous Bow Falls. Finally join us and relax yourself in Banff Town

Today we will leave Banff Town for the magnificent icefield. You can see the beautiful view of meadows, waterfalls and snow mountains along the way. We will pass by the famous Crowfoot Glacier and Bow Lake. Finally, we will enter into the Jasper National Park and explore Columbia Icefield, You can take a big shuttle bus to start your own adventure! More exciting, you can breathe the fresh air of the Rocky Mountains when standing on the skywalk! We will also stay overnight in Revelstoke / Salmon Arm.

Day 5: Revelstoke / Salmon Arm - Kamloops - Vancouver (317 miles)

Today, we will proceed to the famous "Last Spike" in the Pacific Railroad Memorial Park. Then, we will head to visit the Kamloops which is the hometown of Ginseng. Finally, we will drive back to Vancouver.

Day 6: Vancouver-Nanaimo-Coombs-Port Alberni

Take the BC ferry to Nanaimo! Along the way, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Georgia Strait. We will first visit the the Neck Point Park, where you can see the jagged coastal rocks and take a walk on the old trails in the forest. Following, we will head to Coombs, where there is the most distinctive supermarket on Vancouver Island, Old Country Market - Goats on Roof. The roof of the supermarket is covered with green grass, and the goats are living on the roof! Overnight at Port Alberni.

    Stretched like a long, lean finger along the east coast of south-central Vancouver Island, British Columbia's sixth-largest city gets its identity, history and a wealth of recreation from a lovely, island-sheltered harbour right in the heart of town.

    Neck Point Park

    Neck Point is well known in the community for its historic, scenic and natural features. Rugged rock cliffs, with pebble bay beaches, and winding trails through Garry Oak groves will be found here. The park is a great location for photographers wanting to capture the essence of Nanaimo and the west coast lifestyle! The headland area in the north section of the park is a great spot to watch for Orca and Sealions and otters.

Day 7: Port Alberni-Tofino-Ucluelet-Port Alberni (15567 miles)

Rise and shine! We will drive to Tofino in the morning! You can choose to watch whales at your own expense on the cruise ship or explore the natural hot springs on the island. Or you can just have your own peaceful time by the seaside. In the afternoon, we will head to the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve - Long Beach Unit and appreaciate the natural scenery there. Finally, we will go to the Amphitrite Point Lighthouse to breathe the sea breeze! Overnight at Port Alberni.

    Whale Watching Cruise

    Guests will tour the waters of Clayoquot Sound where we most often view Grey Whales. The grey whale migration from Baja California, Mexico begins to arrive along the west coast of Vancouver Island in February and continues through late May. From March through October, over 200 ‘resident’ grey whales will stay feeding in the waters. Humpback whales are seen throughout our season, with the most frequent sightings between June and September. You will also see Orcas (Killer Whales) throughout the year. In addition to whales, you will have chance to enjoy views of sea lions, eagles, sea otters and other amazing wildlife while on the water.

    Amphitrite Point Lighthouse

    The Amphitrite Lighthouse is a classic sight in Ucluelet. As peaceful and postcard-perfect as the lighthouse looks, especially as the sun kisses the horizon goodnight, basking the squat white building in pinks and golds, it is a product of tragedy. No matter the season, seeing the Amphitrite Lighthouse is a treat for the eyes of anyone on the coast.

Day 8: Port Alberni-Parksville-Nanaimo-Vancouver

We will head to MacMillan Provincial Park in the morning. This park boasts the nicely preserved temperate rainforest on the west coast, and there is an 800-year-old fir tree in the park. Next, follow us to visit the Little Qualicum Cheeseworks. The Cheeseworks provided self-service machine of filling a can of fresh milk. There are also several kinds of cute pet animals in the farm for animal lovers. Finally, we will return to the center of Nanaimo and take the ferry to Vancouver in the afternoon.

    MacMillan Provincial Park on Vancouver Island is famous for Cathedral Grove, one of the most accessible stands of giant Douglas-fir trees in British Columbia.     Little Qualicum Cheeseworks

    Little Qualicum Cheeseworks was established in 2001. Visitors can meet the mixed herd of 45 dairy cows, watch the live stream of the robotic milker (voluntary milking system), and interact with the calves and a variety of animals including sheep, goats, and rabbits. The cheese plant has an outside deck for watching the cheesemaking through the windows. In the farmgate store, guests can find a wide range of artisan cheeses along with specialty local foods, gifts, décor, baked goods!

  • Changes to Reservations: A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary will be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
  • Cancellation penalties per person

    31 days or more prior to departure - CAD$25/person.
    15-30 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    Within 14 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    All tours with "Buy 2 get 1 Free" or "Buy 2 get 2 Free" and special discount will charge the penalty fee for cancellation or no show of the free peple: Cancellation within 1-3 days prior to departure - $100/person; Day of departure or no show - $200/person.
    No cancel and No change is allowed for any tour involved in train or cruise, OR 100% of total purchase amount will be charged.
    Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
