  • Child rates: Child rates apply to those 0-12 years and using existing bedding with 2 full-paying passengers (regardless of ages). Please note each hotel room can only accommodate 4 guests (adults or children). Upon increasing needs and local statutes in Seattle, a separate seat is required for the child who is 0-8 years old. Day 1: Seattle

There is free airport pick-up service during 9:00AM-10:00PM. Please wait for the tour guide at number 1 Baggage Claim area, and then guests will be taken to the hotel to catch a rest. Guests are able to arrange the rest of day by their own,or join our optional Morning Tour or Night Tour. (To arrange the Morning/Night tour, it requires at least 4 guests enrolled; Departure during 4/15 - 10/8, the tour is guaranteed once you book in advance. )

Day 2: Seattle - Spokane - Missoula(397 miles)

We will begin this tour by driving east along I-90 until we reach Spokane. Later the tour continues to Missoula in Montana. We will stop at the 50,000 Silver Dollar collection bar in Western Montana.

Day 3: Missoula - Yellowstone National Park(313 miles)

We will arrive in Yellowstone around noon and tour the most famous national park in the country including the Dragon's Mouth Spring, The Fountain Paint Pot and Old Faithful Geyser.

    Fountain Paint Pot, heated by the region's underground hot springs, F.P.P is half hot spring, half mud basin. The spring releases natural shades of red and yellow because of the oxidation of iron in the soil.

    Old Faithful Geyser

    Old Faithful is a cone geyser in the Upper Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park. It is one of the park's most well-known natural features, and is famous for its predictability. It generally erupts every 91 minutes.

Day 4: Jackson Hole - Grand Teton - Yellowstone National Park(51 miles)

In the morning, we will head to the Jackson Hole and visit the famous Antler Arches of Jackson in the town. Then we will continue to visit the Grand Teton National Park. In the afternoon, we will visit Yellowstone National Park again. To the Southeast of the park lays the Yellowstone Lake, presenting breathtaking views of landscapes. Yellowstone is also pristine mountain-range wilderness and an open refuge for wildlife, including grizzly bear, elk, American bison, moose and wolf. We will continue to explore the Yellowstone by visiting famous Yellowstone Mammoth Hot Springs, Grand Prismatic Hot Spring, Mud Volcano Area, West Thumb Geyser Basin, Morning Glory Pool, Artist Point, Upper Yellowstone Falls, Lower Yellowstone River Falls, Yellowstone Lake etc.

    The third largest hot spring in the world, the Grand Prismatic Hot Spring gets its color from bacteria around its rim that feed off of the mineral-rich water. In the summer months, the hot spring is a vivid red-orange shade.

    Morning Glory Pool

    This hot spring in the Upper geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming is famous for it's bright red-orange and blue-green coloring. These colors come from the bacteria which inhabit the geyser's interior.

    Artist Point

    Named after the famous sketches of the waterfalls by Thomas Moran (but not actually the location where the sketched were done) this beautiful location showcases one of the most famous views in Yellowstone National Park.

    West Thumb Geyser Basin

    The West Thumb Geyser Basin is the largest geyser basin at Yellowstone Lake, and an impressive area of geothermal activity that contains hot springs, mud pots, and geysers-- some of which are even in the lake itself.

    Mud Volcano Area

    The Mud Volcano blew itself apart in the early 20th century, but visitors can still see the impressive crater and other geothermal features in the surrounding area, such as the Mud Cauldron, Black Dragon's Caldron, and Dragon's Mouth Spring.

    Lower Yellowstone River Falls

    The Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River in Wyoming are the largest by volume in the Rocky Mountains of the western United States, and they stand more than 300 feet tall-- almost twice as high as Niagara Falls.

    Upper Yellowstone Falls

    Located a quarter-mile upstream of the larger Lower Falls, the Upper Yellowstone River Falls plunge 109 feet down an eroded lava cliff into the basin below. The area below the falls has been subject to heavier erosion than above.

Today we will visit Norris Geyser Basin. Norris Geyser Basin is the hottest and most changeable thermal area in Yellowstone. We will deeply explore many of the features: Rainbow Colors, hissing steam, and pungent odors combine to create an experience unique in Yellowstone. After that, we will return to Missoula.

Day 6: Missoula - Coeur d'Alene - Seattle(423 miles)

Today, we will go on a sightseeing tour of Lake Coeur d'Alene. You will find the world's longest floating boardwalk, located at the Coeur d'Alene Resort. Built in 1986, the boardwalk is over 0.75 mile long and offers rest stops with benches for those who want to savor the amazing lake views, or keep a watch out for osprey or bald eagles. By the shores of beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene, you will also find the Floating Green golf course, the one and only of its kind. Later, we will arrive in Seattle.

Day 7: Seattle - Olympic National Park - Seattle(121 miles)

We will spend the day at Olympic National Park, where we will see Hurricane Ridge and Lake Crescent, the park's two most famous landmarks. (If we can't drive to the Hurricane due to the bad weather, we will go to the other attractions in Olympic National Park.) When going back to Seattle, you can take the Bainbridge Island ferry to enjoy the breathtaking views of Seattle's coastline. (If ferry closed, we will drive to Seattle.)

    Hurricane Ridge

    This deep lake in the heart of Olympic National Park holds water that is a brilliant hue of bright blue. It was formed during the last Ice Age by thousands of years of glacial activity.

Day 8: Mt. Rainier National park - Seattle(115 miles)

Today, we will spend our time in Mount Rainier National Park. Along the way, we will arrange parking for 1-2 attractions according to the actual situation: Christine Falls (via), Narada Falls, Paradise Visitor Center (including glacier overlooking, Martha Falls, Wildflower meadow at Paradise, etc. in case of bad winter weather, we will go to the Longmire instead). In the summer, we will lead you traverse the Volcano mountains. Afterwards, we will return to Seattle, where the tour will end. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.

  • A mandatory service fees: Minimum $10 / day / person should be paid in cash to tour guide and the bus driver as a service fee. Any child / Infant reserving a seat will have to pay the service fees as well. Ex: 2 people taking a 2-day tour would pay: $10 x 2 (seats) x 2 (days) = $40.
  • Personal room fees: such as laundry or valet services, telephone calls, or alcoholic beverages/mini bar items, unless they are otherwise specified.

Confirmation

  • All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

Redemption

  • Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Terms & Condition

  • PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
    The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.
  • Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
  • Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
  • Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
    If requested 21 days before the tour departure date, the received payments would be refunded after deductions of all hotels, air tickets, credit card processing fee and any expenses incurred.
    If requested is in between 11 days to 20 days before the tour departure date, the received payments would be refunded after deduction of 50% of tour price, as well as hotel, air tickets and any expenses incurred.
    If requested within 10 days from the tour departure date, no refund will be allowed.
    If customer chose to discontinue tour before the tour is finished or miss any part of the tour, no refund would be allowed. In addition, it is the client own responsibilities for all consequences arises from an early termination of the tour.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your account. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 10% handling fee.
    If any personal factor (Missing travel documents, being late, sickness, accident etc.) resulted customer not to attend the tour or to discontinue the tour, there would be no refund and any make up service. Our company has no responsibility for customer's any activity since the termination of the tour.
    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.
  • Itinerary Variations We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers. We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.

Additional Note

  • In case of ferry delays or cancellation, we will drive back to Seattle and refund ferry fee of $10/person.
  • City passes are not accepted during an escorted tour due to the fact that they do not correspond into the tour schedule. The group entrance tickets provided by tour guides have fast lane and tour guides accompany passengers for activities.
  • Bus Arrangement: Usually only passengers in the same order will be arranged in the same bus. If you book the tour separately with your friends and you want to sit in the same bus, you need to inform us before departure . Or you may be arranged in different buses.
  • Itineraries are subject to change due to the weather, transportation and other conditions, in order to provide the best experience for you.
  • Customers are held solely responsible for their own travel documents and/or visas if required.
  • Hotel rooms: Each hotel room can accommodate no more than 4 guests (adults or children), and existing bedding must be used
  • Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.
  • Post-tour: At the end of Tour, our tour guide and driver will bring our guests to hotel, and assist in check in process if you book "Red Lion Inn & Suites Federal Way or equivalent" .
    Also 24 Hour Airport drop-off service for the next day, but please note that the check-out time for hotel is 11:00 AM.. You can choose one of the following drop-off location: airport(SEA),Seattle Cruise terminal, Seattle Chinatown, king street station/ union station/Greyhound Bus Station.
