    We will begin this tour by driving east along I-90 until we reach Spokane and visit Expo'74 site. Later the tour continues to Missoula in Montana. We will stop at the 50,000 Silver Dollar collection bar in Western Montana.

    Day 4

    Jackson Hole - Grand Teton - Yellowstone National Park (66 miles)

    We will visit Jackson Hole and find the famous Antler Arches of Jackson in the town. Then we will head to Grand Teton National Park. Later, we will visit Yellowstone National Park again. To the Southeast of the park lays the Yellowstone Lake, presenting breathtaking views of landscapes. Yellowstone is also pristine mountain-range wilderness and an open refuge for wildlife, including grizzly bear, elk, American bison, moose and wolf. We will continue to explore the Yellowstone by visiting famous Old Faithful Geyser, Grand Prismatic Hot Spring, Morning Glory, West Thumb Geyser Basin, Dragon's Mouth Spring, Mud Volcano, Fountain Paint Pot, Artist Point, Yellowstone Falls, Yellowstone Lake etc.

      Famous frontier town, located at the crossing of Grand Teton and Rocky Mountains, it became a heaven for outdoors sports enthusiast. The widely praised Elk Antler Arches Park, with its four arches made with thousands of elk antlers is a must see.

      Originating as a park in 1934, the Town Square is most known for its distinctive arches made from shed elk antlers that have been collected from the National Elk Refuge in Jackson Hole.

      Fountain Paint Pot, heated by the region's underground hot springs, F.P.P is half hot spring, half mud basin. The spring releases natural shades of red and yellow because of the oxidation of iron in the soil.

      Artist Point

      Named after the famous sketches of the waterfalls by Thomas Moran (but not actually the location where the sketched were done) this beautiful location showcases one of the most famous views in Yellowstone National Park.

      Morning Glory Pool

      This hot spring in the Upper geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming is famous for it's bright red-orange and blue-green coloring. These colors come from the bacteria which inhabit the geyser's interior.

      Mud Volcano Area

      The Mud Volcano blew itself apart in the early 20th century, but visitors can still see the impressive crater and other geothermal features in the surrounding area, such as the Mud Cauldron, Black Dragon's Caldron, and Dragon's Mouth Spring.

      Old Faithful Geyser

      Old Faithful is a cone geyser in the Upper Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park. It is one of the park's most well-known natural features, and is famous for its predictability. It generally erupts every 91 minutes.

      Yellowstone Lake

      Yellowstone Lake isn't just the largest single body of water in Yellowstone National Park, but the largest elevated freshwater lake in the US. The lake contains several underwater hot springs that melt its otherwise thick ice sheets in the winter.

      Lower Yellowstone River Falls

      The Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River in Wyoming are the largest by volume in the Rocky Mountains of the western United States, and they stand more than 300 feet tall-- almost twice as high as Niagara Falls.

      Upper Yellowstone Falls

      Located a quarter-mile upstream of the larger Lower Falls, the Upper Yellowstone River Falls plunge 109 feet down an eroded lava cliff into the basin below. The area below the falls has been subject to heavier erosion than above.

      West Thumb Geyser Basin

      The West Thumb Geyser Basin is the largest geyser basin at Yellowstone Lake, and an impressive area of geothermal activity that contains hot springs, mud pots, and geysers-- some of which are even in the lake itself.

    Yellowstone National Park - Missoula (236 miles)

    Today we will visit Norris Geyser Basin. Norris Geyser Basin is the hottest and most changeable thermal area in Yellowstone. We will deeply explore many of the features: Rainbow Colors, hissing steam, and pungent odors combine to create an experience unique in Yellowstone. After that, we will return to Missoula.

    Missoula - Coeur d'Alene - Seattle (423 miles)

    Today, we will go on a sightseeing tour of Lake Coeur d'Alene. You will find the world's longest floating boardwalk, located at the Coeur d'Alene Resort. Built in 1986, the boardwalk is over 0.75 mile long and offers rest stops with benches for those who want to savor the amazing lake views, or keep a watch out for osprey or bald eagles. By the shores of beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene, you will also find the Floating Green golf course, the one and only of its kind. Later, we will arrive in Seattle.

      This resort city in Idaho has become a popular tourist destination because of several excellent ski spots nearby. It sits on the shores of a lake of the same name, giving the it the nickname "Lake City."

      Lake Coeur d'Alene

      This natural lake in Idaho is a popular resort spot, offering breathtaking scenery among one of the Northwest's hidden gems. At the northern tip of the lake is a town of the same name.

    We will spend the day at Olympic National Park, where we will see Hurricane Ridge and Lake Crescent, the park's two most famous landmarks. (If we can't drive to the Hurricane due to the bad weather, we will go to the other attractions in Olympic National Park.) When going back to Seattle, you can take the Bainbridge Island ferry to enjoy the breathtaking views of Seattle's coastline. (If ferry closed, we will drive to Seattle.)

      This UNESCO World Heritage Site in the northwesternmost corner of the United States is best known for being part of the largest temperate rainforest on the planet. It is also home to gorgeous coastline and a portion of the Olympic Mountains.

      Hurricane Ridge

      This deep lake in the heart of Olympic National Park holds water that is a brilliant hue of bright blue. It was formed during the last Ice Age by thousands of years of glacial activity.

    Mt. Rainier National park - Seattle (57 miles)

    Today, we will spend our time in Mount Rainier National Park. Along the way, we will arrange parking for 1-2 attractions according to the actual situation: Christine Falls (via), Narada Falls, Paradise Visitor Center (including glacier overlooking, Martha Falls, Wildflower meadow at Paradise, etc. in case of bad winter weather, we will go to the Longmire Museum instead). In the summer, we will lead you traverse the Volcano mountains. Afterwards, we will return to Seattle, where the tour will end. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.

    • Bus Arrangement: Usually only passengers in the same order will be arranged in the same bus. If you book the tour separately with your friends and you want to sit in the same bus, you need to inform us before departure . Or you may be arranged in different buses.

    Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.

    Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .

    • If requested 10 days before the tour departure date, the received payments would be refunded after deductions of all hotels, air tickets, credit card processing fee and any expenses incurred.
    • If requested is in between 3 days to 10 days before the tour departure date, the received payments would be refunded after deduction of 50% of tour price, as well as hotel, air tickets and any expenses incurred.
    • If requested within 3 days from the tour departure date, no refund will be allowed.
    • If customer chose to discontinue tour before the tour is finished or miss any part of the tour, no refund would be allowed. In addition, it is the client own responsibilities for all consequences arises from an early termination of the tour.
    • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.
    • If any personal factor (Missing travel documents, being late, sickness, accident etc.) resulted customer not to attend the tour or to discontinue the tour, there would be no refund and any make up service. Our company has no responsibility for customer's any activity since the termination of the tour.

    Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
