Day 1: Tokyo

Welcome to Tokyo, the capital of Japan! A tour guide will be waiting for you at the airport. After greeting you, you will be able to check in at the hotel to rest and recharge for the next wonderful journey.

After breakfast, we will head to the Sensoji Temple and then visit Nakamise-dori Street, which is one of the busiest shopping streets in Tokyo. Next, follow us to have a glimpse of the highest tower in the world, the Tokyo Skytree. Following, we will head to visit Ginza. There are many large department stores nearby to have a great shopping experience! In the afternoon, we’ll go to Shibuya! At the Shibuya Station, you can also see the statue built to commemorate the loyal dog Hachiko. The observatory of Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building is a thrilling attraction! You can overlook the panoramic views of Tokyo and beyond. Finally, we will visit Shinjuku Kabukicho and feel the charm of this sleepless city! You can also choose to participate in the night tour of Tokyo at your own expense to enjoy the beautiful night of Tokyo!

    Founded in approximately 628 AD, this Buddhist temple in Tokyo is the city's oldest as well as one of its most important. The street leading to the temple is called the Nakamise-dori and features many retail shops and kiosks.

    This popular shopping street in Tokyo is located near the famous Sensoji Temple. It is loaded with shops and srteet-side stalls selling various goods, from clothes and handicrafts to ingredients and food.

    Shibuya

    Shibuya is a popular shopping and entertainment area found around Shibuya Station. In this regard, Shibuya is one of Tokyo's most colorful and busy districts, packed with shopping, dining and nightclubs. Shibuya is also a center for youth fashion and culture. Its streets are the birthplace to many of Japan's fashion and entertainment trends. Numerous department stores and shopping malls can be found around the area catering to all types of shoppers.

    Hachiko Memorial Statue

    Shibuya Intersection has become a synonym for Eight Heroes, a famous loyal dog. Every day, this famous loyal dog will accompany his master Professor Ueno to Shibuya Station, where he will wait for his master to leave work, until one day the professor died of cerebral hemorrhage while working. However, in the following nine years, the loyal Eight Heroes continued to wait for his master to come home from work every day. The story of Ba Gong attracted the attention of the public. In 1934, a statue of Ba Gong was erected outside Shibuya Station in recognition of its loyalty. Unfortunately, Bagong died the next year, but his story has been handed down in Japan and around the world.

    This large building serves as the headquarters for Tokyo’s metropolitan government, which handles affairs for the city’s 23 wards. At the top of the building’s two towers are panoramic observation decks.

    Kanda Shrine

    From the moment we step into the bird house of Kanda shrine, we can begin to understand Shinto, the largest religion in Japan. Through the performance of the Shinto show, you will learn the meaning of life and how to face our life again. After, we will go to Kanda shrine, to visit the second place of the Tokyo Night View legend to enjoy the night view of Kanda shrine and watch the Kanda shrine show. Do not forget to take a look at Kanda Shrine's money cat which is a very famous fortune cat.

    The observation deck is a 20-meter square room surrounded by a whole piece of large glass. Tourists feel as if they were born in the air and far away from the world. On a sunny day, looking down, you can see the whole Tokyo at a glance. The beautiful Mount Fuji in the west is amazing to discover. At night, the decorative lights on the tower body suddenly come on and form a colorful pattern in the night sky. Shortly after, we will go to the Tokyo Tower to visit Tokyo's landmark buildings, and overlook the night view of the entire Tokyo capital from the Tokyo Tower.

Day 3: Tokyo - Mount Fuji - Hamanako area (388 km)

After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to the Imperial Palace and Double Bridge. Afterwards, we will visit Lake Yamanaka, one of the Fuji Five Lakes and the largest lake in the Fuji Five Lakes. Then, we will drive to the fifth station of Mount Fuji. In the afternoon, we will go to the Hamanako area hot spring hotel to check-in. There are many lakes in Japan, and Lake Hamana is one of the few saltwater lakes that is perfect for you to discover. The active crustal movement make the hot springs all over the shores of Lake Hamana. We have even arranged a lake view room for all guests.
During the maple leaf season from 10/21 to 11/18, Yamanakako will go to the Kawaguchiko Maple Leaf Corridor instead. The landscape is affected by the real-time weather and climate. Please refer to what you see. Please understand.

    Lake Yamanaka

    The lake is located in the village of Yamanakako, home to a large population of swans. Thus, it has been unofficially called "Swan Lake".

    If you cannot climb the fifth station of Mount Fuji due to weather, you will go to Oshino Hakkai 40 minutes instead.

    Located around the midsection of Mount Fuji, the Fifth Station offers a good place to rest and an even better scenic viewpoint, about halfway along the Yoshida Trail. There is a lodge with shops and restaurants.

    If you cannot climb the fifth station of Mount Fuji due to weather, you will go to Oshino Hakkai (40 minutes) instead.

Day 4: Hamanako area - Kyoto - Osaka (233 km)

After breakfast at the hotel, we will first drive to Fushimi Inari Shrine. The shrine is dedicated to Inari, the god of agriculture and commerce. In the shrine, you can also see various fox stone statues, which is one of the most prosperous shrines in the Kyoto area. After lunch, we will head to Kinkaku-ji Temple, which is a masterpiece of Muromachi period architecture that combines traditional and emerging cultures of its era. Afterwards, proceed to Gion and Hanami Koji, which are very unique in Japanese culture and attract tourists from all over the world to appreciate the unique historical heritage. Afterwards, we will visit Yasaka Shrine. Yasaka Shrine enshrines the gods such as Suo Yuzun, Kushida Himemei, and Yasushi Yuko God. Whenever the Zhuanyuan Festival is held, a large number of Japanese people come to pray for safety.

    Fushimi Inari Taisha

    Fushimi Inari Shrine is an important Shinto shrine in southern Kyoto. It is famous for its thousands of vermilions torii gates, which straddle a network of trails behind its main buildings. The trails lead into the wooded forest of the sacred Mount Inari, which stands at 233 meters and belongs to the shrine grounds. Fushimi Inari is the most important of several thousands of shrines dedicated to Inari, the Shinto god of rice. Foxes are thought the Inari's messengers, resulting in many fox statues across the shrine grounds.

    10/21-11/18 During the maple leaf season, instead of Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine we will go to Arashiyama Togetsukyo Bridge instead. The landscape is affected by the current weather and climate conditions.

    Kinkaku-ji

    The name of this Zen Buddhist temple in Kyoto translates to the "Temple of the Golden Pavilion." It sits on a beautiful, tranquil lake. It was originally built in 1397 and rebuilt after a 1950 arson.

    Gion

    Gion is the most famous district of Kyoto which reserves many old streets and architectures to feel the old Japanese culture.

    Hanamikoji

    It is the classiest district where Geisha live in all over Japan since Edo Period. It is one of the classic highlights of Kyoto.

    Yasaka Shrine

    A Shinto shrine in the Gion District of Kyoto, Japan. The shrine includes several buildings, including gates, a main hall and a stage.

Day 5: Osaka-Nara-Osaka (63 km)

After breakfast, we will first visit Osaka City Park and Outside visit Osaka Castle. Following, we will visit Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street and Dotonbori, the busiest business district in Osaka. In the afternoon, we will drive to Nara, an ancient city with a history of thousands of years. Here, we will have fun with the clever deer in Nara Park! Finally, we will visit the world's largest wooden building, the Todaiji Temple, and the important Japanese sacrificial place, Kasuga Taisha.

    Osaka Castle Park

    This Japanese castle is one of the country's most famous landmarks, perched high on a hill above the city of Osaka and regarded as an important cultural monument by the Japanese government.

    Shinsaibashi

    Shinsaibashi is the main shopping district of Osaka, Japan. It includes different themed sectors, including Shinsaibashi-suji, a covered shopping street, and Amerika-muri, an American themed area, one of the most popular areas for Osaka's youth.

    Dotonbori

    Dotonbori is one of the most prosperous business districts in Osaka and a landmark food stronghold. Almost all the specialties of Osaka are included here, including ramen noodles, octopus roast, teppanyaki, revolving sushi, puffer fish cuisine, etc. The most famous ones are "Osaka King General" and "Crab Road Music". In the night when neon lights are flashing, there is even more excitement here.

    This Japanese city has a rich history. From 710 to 794 BCE, it was the country's capital. There are many deer in the area, and it is said that if you bow to them, they will return the gesture.

    Nara Park

    This park in Japan is famous for its large population of over 1,200 deer, who are not afraid to interact with their human visitors. Covering over 660 hectares, it features many beautiful gardens.

    Todaiji

    This Buddhist temple in Nara was once among the Seven Great Temples. It houses the world’s largest bronze Buddha statue. Visitors can see deer, seen as the messengers of the gods in Shinto, freely roaming the grounds.

    Kasuga Taisha

    Kasuga Taisha was established at the same time as the capital and is dedicated to the deity responsible for the protection of the city. Many of its buildings are painted vermilion, in bold contrast to the cedar roofs and surrounding greenery.

Day 6: Osaka

Today we will be the end of our unforgettable and pleasant journey of Japan! You can book a suitable flight to leave Osaka Kansai International Airport (KIX) according to your needs. Our staff only provides one drop-off service from the hotel at 7:00 in the morning. If the guest has an early flight and needs to leave the hotel before 7 o'clock to the airport.

  • Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
  • Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office.     More than 45 days prior to departure date (EST): $100 per pax of the tour penalty.
    Less than 44 days but 30 days prior to departure date (EST): 70% of total purchase amount can be refunded
    Less than 29 days but 23 days prior to departure date (EST): 50% of total purchase amount can be refunded
    Less than 22 days prior to departure date (EST) or on departure day (EST): 100% penalty. No refund
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.

  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserve the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure of the tour, TakeTours only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
