  • My wife and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary this summer 2019. So we enrolled a tour to banff through Take Tours website. We also brought our two kids with us. The tour company is Ctour Holiday. The tour number is 8-4 BA4. It was a four days tour started from August 4 2019. The confirmation number is 10219. The tour guide is Lewis Liu. The accommodations, the meals and the arrangements were very good. Everything of the tour of Ctholidays was good except the tour guide. I enrolled an English tour. But the tour guide Lewis Liu spoke in Mandarin most of the time. We are the only four persons who came from Hong Kong and do not understand Mandarin. Most of the other tour members came from Mainland China. I would not expect Lewis Liu to describe the places in English. But he even used Mandarin to tell the places and the times to meet for every attraction. We spoke to him about our difficulties in understanding. But he got very annoyed and did not change. We had to ask other tour members about when and where to meet each time we got off the bus. The most unbelievable event happened on the first night of our tour. By the time we arrived Travelodge Golden sportsman lodge, it was already 11pm. My wife went into the bathroom and flushed the toilet. Urine and excrement came out from the toilet and sprayed all over the bathroom. The urine even got into the room and the carpet near the toilet. We were all astonished at the scene and I took some pictures. I stayed in the room to look after my two kids. My wife went to see the motel superintendents. They are two Indian guys. They said the motel was fully booked and there was no room left. So my wife went to Lewis Liu to look for help. Liu did not go to our room to take a look. He talked to the superintendents and got the same reply. Could you guess what Liu did next? **He just walked back into his room to take a sleep.** My wife, my two kids and I were left in a room full of smell of urine and excrement. I was wondering: How could we use a bathroom like this? No shower tonight? How could we get to sleep in a room like this? We went to talk to the two superintendents. They went into our room to take a look. Finally they gave us another room. It didn’t matter whether their first reply was true or not. At least they are kind and considerate and gave us help in this miserable situation.
